Well, everything went well as I expected. Beats Audio is perfect. And about Flash Player, it is the only version which works on my phone. Bravia Engine 3 was installed succesully. But the bootanimation.zip flash wasn't successful. Evo-x4 doesn't have a boot animation and I really wanted one. The bootanimation.zip I tried was the ported Google bootanimation.
Anyway I am running Evo-x4 and I really liked your tool. I will use on every ROM probably. Good work.
P.S. The Miscellaneous Tools is my favourite tab.

I tried the bootanimation.zip option from your Miscellaneous tab but nothing happened. No bootanimation applied. Tried both from CWM and CWM BroacomCM

That is not my fault and it is not the problem with Toolkit.
This is bootanimation "INSTALLER" not "ENABLER". You need a ROM which supports bootanimation.
bootanimation is disabled in Evo-x4 and you will have to enable it.
Bootanimation Installer works fine on all other ROMs.
This tool otherwise works with any recovery [Even stock one also, but may not install tweaks (related to mounts)].
You can use Classic CWM or BroadcomCM CWM.

Can you please tell me how to enable the bootanimation on Evo-x4? Do I need to flash any file before installing the bootanimation.zip?

flash boot animation enabler in cwm with system mounted then you can change the bootanimation.zip

Thanks marcus. I flashed Google Bootanimation succesfully.

You both are using stock ROMs? If yes then have you deodexed stock ROM?
In that case this must work.
Also you need to check the checkbox of "Fix Permissions" after you select Kitkat Statusbar.
Fixing Permissions takes 3-4 minutes.
Then this definitely works. I have tested it.

What is xposed installer?
It is a framework!
It allows you to install little apps by which you can mod your XL.
Read Advantages for more info.
Only you will be responsible if anything happens to your phone!
Advantages:
No need to modify any APKs. This means:
No need to decompile, change things in smali, compile, sign, ...It will work for odexed and deodexed ROMs.Your mod is not bound to a specific version of the ROM. Unless there is a major change in the methods called for a certain functionality, your mod will continue to work even when you upgrade your ROM. Hell, it will probably even work with different ROMs.Multiple mods can be installed at the same time, even if they change the same package. So you can use these battery icons and those quick toggles. Even hooking the same method twice is possible. Of course, this only works properly if the mods are not trying to do incompatible things.
It does its magic at runtime. That means you can implement options to let the user decide if they prefer the bikeshed to be painted in red or blue. Or you can have some extra logic for certain ROMs without building different mod versions.
It can be disabled easily without having to reflash.
It's open source.
Download:
You can download the installer from the attachment or from thread mentioned above
How to install:
First step for everything you do: Create a nandroid backup and make sure you know how to restore it!
There is also the risk to soft-brick your device. In such a case, restoring a backup is the easiest way to get rid of it
Download XposedInstaller.apk and install it
Launch the Xposed Installer and click on "Install/Update"
Reboot
Done!
In case you get into a boot loop:
You can flash the attached Xposed-Disabler-CWM.zip by Tungstwenty. It will be copied to your (external) SD card when you install Xposed as well. The only thing it does is copying /system/bin/app_process.orig back to /system/bin/app_process, which you can also do yourself (e.g. with adb shell in recovery mode).
You could also create a file /data/xposed/disabled, which causes Xposed to be bypassed as well.
Modules:
You can find modules collection here-
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2327541

Installation process-
Download .apk and install it
Launch the Xposed Installer and go to the "Modules" tab (you will also get there if you click on the notification warning you that the module is not enabled yet)
Enable the module by checking the check-box
Reboot
Done!
Please let me know which Modules are working perfectly on Canvas 2 and I will add in my post

Just place the zip into root folder of your internal storage and flash the update.zip with CWM Recovery and everything will be installed.
This flashable file can be used with Stock Rom (GB, ICS, JB) or CyanogenMod 9.x/10.x
note: If you wish to leave out certain apps just edit the zip folder and remove the apps from data/data & app folders.
Download Update.zip (36.5MB): http://www.mediafire.com/?cgha32b5lgwan32
Thanks
No problem. always useful to have the right tools after eg. a fresh format or rom flash and not having to re-install or re-downloading them again.

If it still does not work, try "root browser" (by JRummy) in playstore

[ROOT][SuperSu][NO KingUser] GC2 G355

Greetings.
Code:
[URL="http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1998801"]Use this on your own risk [/URL]
[Q]; Is it safe ? Yes it is.
[Q]: Will it work for my device ? Try it and U will find out ...
[Q]:Unroot possible ? Sure use option in SuperSu apk or better backup recovery/whole stock rom.
Since many users proposed to me to create a new thread for fullroot of Galaxy Core 2 phones ( some models ), I decided to do so.
It's made for stock recovery for Galaxy Core 2 and for latest update of it.
Stock recovery for G355HN and any other custom recovery.
GC2 stock recovery phones have not fully working SELinux recovery support and the CF instalation of SuperSu won't work. Read : it also work in permissive mode.
Custom Recoveries :
TWRP :
Original developed by @Y300-0100 http://forum.xda-developers.com/gala...55h-m-t2998094
modded by @Dhruvit Pokharna http://forum.xda-developers.com/gala...-2-sm-t3013103
CWM :
Original developed by @cleverior.ipul http://forum.xda-developers.com/gala...alaxy-t2990852
If you have working CWM / TWRP/ Mobile odin ( recovery with full SELinux support) you could use update script from ChainFire to obtain fullroot and install SuperSu or use latest update script by me.
What needed :
Galaxy Core 2 phone with android 4.4.2 able to goto stock/custom recovery, no other preroot attempts needed like preinstalled busybox, preinstalled init.d, because all this need the preroot access and installation.
This update zip is made specialy for G355HN devices. Tested on Galaxy Core 2 SM-G355HN on 4.4.2 Android on both stock roms available,
but it should work on some devices Galaxy Core 2 with stock/custom recovery.
How to :
Code:
1. Shut down your phone until last vibe ... it's OFF !
2. Enter stock recovery - hold 3 buttons (Menu + Power + Vol up)
3. After init select "apply update from external storage", press power button to enter
4. Select the previous downloaded zip . The file you have previously copied to extSdCard - and press power button ...
5. The script will run ...
6. If all goes ok, your phone should be rooted.
7. After boot android will upgrade - Superuser apk ask for update su binary.
8. No internet connection is neccessary for this step ... Select continue, normal way and wait for the success.
9. Hit thanks if it worked 4 you
Thanks for Superuser and binary goes to Chainfire
Powered by SuperSu !
And finaly :
About OTA updates and system status, CF Auto root options :
After rooting the device your system status will become custom ( Device status : Custum ).
You can check it in Odin mode ( download mode ), check current BIN and System status .
You can reset binary flash counter with Triangle Away but you cannot fool OTA update program so easy.
When you are rooted you can't check for updates OTA. There was a lot of chat about whether you had to defrost various apps etc. to fool the update feature. Using Wanam Exposed, under "Security Hacks" you get the option to change (fake) "System status" from "Custom" setting to "Official", and thus allowing you to check OTA using Samsungs update feature. Much easier than having to check Sammobile every day. Hope it helps someone.
... but the OTA removes root, so you have to root the updated version again. The almost same is with GravityBox.
CF auto root by Chainfire is still not available for GC2. Still waiting for it.
Any other posts regarding those 3 questions will be deleted by moderators.
Feel free to post any other questions and infos regarding rooting your devices and root feedbacks/errors.
Updates & version infos :

Nope, I have the Samsung Galaxy Core II SM-G355HN. It's completely new, bought through my mobile carrier. I updated the mobile to the latest version, 4.4.2.
Then I just intruduced a microSD card, transferred the required zip, and followed the easy steps. I've been using my GC2 for 2 days and I'm so happy I found this thread. I removed all the bloatware and all the apps I didn't want, then I installed Nova launcher and now this phone is so fast. I recommend you to install Nova launcher cause, in spite of being way faster and quite more responsiveness than anything else I've seen, the Touchwiz version that comes with this phone is awful, it's different from any other Samsung interface I've ever seen, I hate it. Besides, Nova is ultra customizable, I love it so much that I bought the PRO version. With the stock Touchwiz of the GC2, you can't even create a shortcut to "Manage Applications".
Cheers!

Greetings.
Since many users proposed to me to create a new thread for fullroot of Galay Core 2 phones, I decided to do so.
It's fullroot edition powered by SuperSu, not kinguser.
Thanks for Superuser and binary goes to Chainfire
The root for lolipop or any updates, custom rom will be made after the port/custom rom/update.
What needed :
G355.. phone with android 4.4.2 able to goto stock recovery, no other preroot attempts needed like preinstalled busybox, preinstalled init.d, because all this need the preroot access and installation.
This update zip is made specialy for G355H... devices. Tested on Galaxy Core 2 SM-G355HN on 4.4.2 Android,
but it should work on all devices Galaxy Core 2.
Initial support for Android 5 is enabled little more changing needed when the port or release will appear
How to :

Hi its not working for me too :/ Superuser saying im using 4.3 then my phone is 4.4.2 so could u explain me that?
You don't need to install SuperSU first, it's automatically installed when rooting. I think you gotta have a 4.4.2 GC2. Why don't you update it through Settings/About device/Software update?

First of all read the thread. Mine root zip's are powered by SuperSU and not superuser !
If you have problem please state the problem what are you using and how . BUT FIRST READ THE THREAD CAREFULLY !!!!
worked for me.
This totally worked for me.. from rooted kinguser you'll need to flash it again to stock after that it went out smoothly... Thank you so much buddy... if you ever going here in Philippines, the beer and the chicks are on me.
No need to do that. The recovery update flashable zip first deletes all posible root apks and binary and cache data. Then installs the SuperSu apk and binary.
It works on stock recovery only.

Hi, StratOS_HTC, I have a problem with my Samsung Galaxy Core II.
Everything is working fine, but when I check for new updates through "Settings/About device/Software update/Update", a pop-up message appears and says something like:
"Your software has been modified, you can't update"
If I go to "Settings/About device/Status/Device status", it says Custom, and I've read that in order to update the phone through carrier's way, the Device status should be Normal, not Custom. These are the solutions I've found, though I haven't tried them, cause may be I shouldn't update the phone.
If it says modified then you could try booting into recovery (I'm unsure how, don't have the device) and wiping your cache, then rebooting. There may be lingering fragments of data in your cache from previous updates that are causing the modified message to appear.

I unmounted the sd card, rebooted, now the status says Official. Checked for updates, now it works.

I have the Samsung Galaxy Core II SM-G355HN with Android 4.4.2 (the one that came with the phone). I've rooted it using your method, I have SuperSU, I also installed Xposed framework and GravityBox so I can make some tweaks that I really need in order to use my phone as I want. I also use Nova launcher.
Which one of those things is not allowing me to update the Core II? Is it root? Xposed framework may be? Or the tweaks I've made with GravityBox module?
Thank you!
"Your software has been modified, you can't update"
Samsung has made their own check programs during boot, recovery and OTA update.
The system status changed if you root the phone. The partition can be written to (rw), so primary the whole update procedure or modified system has primary been modified just because of the root procedure and Samsung checks.
You can change the status via Chainfire's TriangleAway, but not the whole OTA procedure.
If you read the post regarding Samsung checks you will find a lot of stuff, but primary the GC2 stuff is different.
Wiping the cache and unmounting SDCard doesn't work for out phone if you want to update throught OTA.
Use Kies and Odin.
Not working OTA update is tipicaly just because of the root and rooting and samsung checks.
You can update/flash it throught Kies/Odin. and root it again or use the rooted integrated roms/flashes.
All right, first of all:
Where can I see the release notes of the new update? May be the update is not worth this whole process...
Second, if I download Kies and update the phone through Kies, do I lose all my data in the phone?
Can I update it using Kies the normal way? I mean, connect the phone, open the program and click update.
Thanks!
So how can i do unroot
It works for me. So how can i do unroot. For personal reasons(I can not install app to external card)
In SuperSu apk there is a option "full unroot" use this for it.
You can use some apps to install or move apps to extSdCard.
But I think that stock kernel support only fat filesystem of extSdCard, correct me if I'm wrong, havent tried it.It would be great to have some ext partition and swap on extSdCard too,but for that we will have to recompile and add modules for fs to kernel.

[Guide] install viper4android FX on galaxy core prime VE

Hello XDA
This simple guide is about viper4android FX on galaxy core prime.
##Before you start: Your phone must be rooted with a custom recovery and busybox installed..
So let's start:
1- download the file from the end if the post.
2- boot in to custom recovery.
3- flash the downloaded file.
4- reboot.
5- open viper4android FX and enjoy.
##Tip: change UI mode to expert to enable full features
☆ I have attached my Viper4android FX configurations, you might like to give them a try, i configured them on the stock earphones of the galaxy core prime VE (G361H) and they're a compromised to give clear audio with great bass, you can install them by downloading them from the end of the post, and then extract them and put the viper4android folder in the root of your phone's internal memory, then open viper4android and open on menu> profiles and load the "1" file.
☆It would be nice if you also share your viper4android FX configurations so others can enjoy them too. (You can share your settings by saving them in viper4android menu, and then go to the viper4android folder in your phone's internal memory and zip the folder which has the name of the profile that you made).

Hey could you download and test my latest 6.0.1 all in one zip and tell me if it works? there should be new Atmos, Zirene, and Maxx FX apps that work with marshmallow. Be sure to flash only this zip ->https://forum.xda-developers.com/devdb/project/dl/?id=25905<- on a 6.0.1 rom with no audio modifications done to it.

As soon as I unlock my S4 I'll test it out ASAP.
Ok - so I did a fresh install of LineageOS 13 + picogapps - removed AudioFX and CMaudio - then flashed your zip.
All mods work except ZireneFXwhich comes up as a blank white window
ViperFx needs selinux set to permissive and then works [normal behavior]
I have not yet played with them in combination.
Let me know if ZireneFXshould work ok or not ?
edit - you might want to mention you need selinux passive and also busybox installed in OP
also an uninstall zip might be a nice touch

AWESOME! Thank You for testing this, so do you confirm the new maxx audio ui works that was what I was worried about, as far as zirene I can fix that and will provide an update, also I did notice when I had the Idol 3 that a zip called deep buffer remover was also nessacary to get atmos/dolby to process the audio so if you could test that as well, see if when you play audio Dobly FX and Atmos FX should show in the EQ if it is working
EDIT: Also can you post a screen shot of the new Maxx FX I need one, the only device I have is the AT&T Galaxy S4 so no marshmallow
Looking at the Downloads section, I only see "HEX FX All In One for Android 6.0.1.zip" - can I flash this on a 5.1.1 CM ROM or is there another zip I should look out for? Phone is an 6045I, listed as supported.
new maxx audio ui works ok
when I play audio - Dobly FX and Atmos FX do show in the EQ moving around
Dolby FX has some issues - it seems to be tied up with the viper XHifi driver in some way - I had not even started the viper xhifi and dolby somehow is activating that driver also and displaying an error in dolby complaing about xhifi ! Dolby does force close also and when it loses focus and you select it again from the recent apps list it restarts from the beginning rather than carry on where it left off.
You are lucky I have a spare 6039y to test this on as my friend smashed his up and I rebuilt it with cheap chinese spare parts
attached screen shot of the new Maxx FX
oh yeah - hit thanks for my posts ......................................................

This hack fixes when streaming apps (Spotify, Pandora, etc) do not process audio effects for various equalizer applications.
These installers utilize my Unified installer that can install on Magisk OR System if Magisk is not detected (with Pixel support). It utilizes my Magisk framework called Audio Modification Library that allows that installation of multiple audio mods without having compatibility issues with one another's audio config file changes (this is a Magisk limitation, however AudModLib solves this issue). I do not support any other audio mod, and if Magisk, I do not support any mod mod that does not utilize my AudModLib.

My install procedure on lollipop of the Idol 3 to get everything working was the above deep_buffer remover, SELinux mode changer App (Not via V4A), Pro Version Install of BusyBox All Applets Symlinked. That fixed everthing from the dolby issues to the V4a XHiFi. Zirene FX is an Isolated Incident, I will have a fix for that soon as I get started but Thanks! I need this information so when I re-get the Moto G4 Plus (Audio Engine on Marshmallow/Nougat)

Trying it on my 6045I results in "Updater process ended with ERROR: 6"
I looked at the install script and it seems that all it does is mount /system and dump the zip's contents into it, I can easily do this over adb shell but I want to make sure something worse isn't going on.

This one flashed; however, after reboot, none of the apps were there. I tried manually installing the V4A apk I got from the expanded links you provided above (this was 2.5.0.5 off Mediafire). It installed, but prompted me about a missing driver. I gave it root permissions and it was unable to install the driver, complaining about missing or wrong BusyBox (I have 1.26.2-meffik). When I attempted to uninstall the BusyBox I have so I could install the Stericson version V4A asked for, although the uninstaller had root, it was unable to mount /system rw. I confirmed this over adb shell. It seems that flashing the zip somehow forced /system to read-only, as the BusyBox uninstall process proceeded without problems once I restored a backup.
