I thought that the point of official release means that it will be avaialble from the Play Store. I think it is still rolling out for different regions.
Anyways does the launcher have an option for sorting the App Drawer other than alphabetical order?
Tested on Note3 back to Nova.... still the best
Google Now Launcher will be nice if the App Drawer can set Folder or hide unwanted apps, or sort our own so It won't just messy around.

Ya, agree!
I've been a Apex Pro user since ICS back at Galaxy S2, and it is the tiny details that made me go for it, however with stuff like xposed, the launcher is going to get a lot of mods.
The current grid size is stupid and made more for sub-five-inch phones, worthless if we cant choose the layout sizes.
Great!
Mix it with this one, and you'll be able to adapt it to the Note 3 screen size

Two apps recently popped up on my phone and I'm not quite sure from where.
One of them is called App Center and the other is called Game Center, they both have a similar UI
Does anyone know which application could have created these apps?

"Two apps recently popped up on my phone and I'm not quite sure from where."
Think the easy way to tell is get Lookout Labs ad network detector (playstore).
Scan your phone, it'll tell you which apps have 'permission' to change those types of settings, found an app recently on mine that was installing a search icon on my screen and air-pushing ads. Thing was the app wasn't doing this last week, it suddenly did after an update. Sneaky *******s....
'
I haven't installed any apps that are malicious. plus I'm well aware of the Air push ads.
What's weird is that the apps don't follow normal spam apps procedures which makes me think a legit app just added them, for instance when I pick an app to install it doesn't take me to a Web browser it takes me directly to the play store.
I'm thinking it's something that Go Dev added to one of there apps

not sure if it's a carrier update... i haven't got any updates for an OTA
but did some investigating and I think that is an app add in for Go Launcher... i exited go Launcher and choose my stock touchwiz launcher and those apps were not in the app drawer

I doubt it, but you should ask the GO devs about it.
Does not look like their app.
They usually name their apps GO _______
+
The Game center app icon is from the iPhone, which I know that Go devs wouldn't use, their good with their own icons. Might want to re-check. Are you unable to uninstall them?

Yup, I can confirm that.
I have them too after updating Go Launcher Ex
I think the devs should have mentioned this instead of having people guessing

It is GO Launcher EX
The answer is they are extra apps that come with GOLauncher EX...they just added them in a recent update.
Does that help?
I just wish that somewhere in there change log they would have mentioned something about adding the application's to Go Launcher instead of leaving us in the dark.

The real widget is from the Moto Atrix HD. It's here on XDA somewhere.."Atrix HD Widgets".. Main caveat of running it is you have to run the launcher that comes with it. I haven't tried it on the S3 yet to see if it will work, as a stock launcher in any form is a no-go for me.
No, One More Clock widget is the "real" widget and has been out for quite some time; been using it for over a year. Motorola "adopted" this widget and implemented a few changes and enhancements. You don't need to be on a specific launcher and it even works with Android versions down to 1.6.

Update 11/24 - v1.1: Support for Android 4.0-4.1
After some requests I added a launcher icon which will launch the clock activity and start the screensaver after 30s of user inactivity and keep the screen on as long as the device is charging
I just created an improved version of the stock Clock DayDream for Android 4.2+.
Besides the default clock it shows current date and the next alarm and there is even an option to show unread messages, texts and missed calls notification.
You can find it on the Play store https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=cz.mpelant.deskclock

Yeah I installed and I don't see the icon I saw for it in various sites..only thing I see is some stuff in Google sync
same no icon, no difference.
Re: Icon
If you want to see the new activities you have to make shortcuts to them with your custom launcher (I use Nova). It doesn't do anything yet though since none of the developers are using the API yet. The new sync settings are quite interesting though.
The icon can only be seen if use a launcher like NOVA as its just an background activity displayed as shortcut/widget in this supported home screen (States this in the Android Police article). The game services are hidden and will work with supported Google market games when they are supported too (None are support yet as far as i know yet but could be wrong).
EDIT -

Hello,
I can't connect to the new services of Google Play Games with any games, I tried SuperStickMan Golf 2 and some more and all are left with a white screen (loading) until the sign in fails ("unknown error").
I have Hangouts running (that use Google Play Services) and a Google+ account linked to the google phone account.

May I ask if this download is trustful ?
I installed it, and now I just noticed I have some weird apps installed, all of them show up as "built in" (i.e. Android won't let me uninstall them).
Some of them call themselves games by Gameloft, like "Iron Man 3", but they seem to be knock offs. Worse of all, these so-called games have too many permissions.
Off course, they could have come from somewhere else, but I don't usually install apks, so I don't have any other suspects.
Even if this is not this launcher's fault, does someone know how can I get rid of these things, short of a full reset?
Edit: coincidentally my phone updated to 4.4... I just read that sometimes carriers injects apps in such updates, so this was probably the case here.
