Yeah I installed and I don't see the icon I saw for it in various sites..only thing I see is some stuff in Google sync

same no icon, no difference.

Re: Icon
If you want to see the new activities you have to make shortcuts to them with your custom launcher (I use Nova). It doesn't do anything yet though since none of the developers are using the API yet. The new sync settings are quite interesting though.

The icon can only be seen if use a launcher like NOVA as its just an background activity displayed as shortcut/widget in this supported home screen (States this in the Android Police article). The game services are hidden and will work with supported Google market games when they are supported too (None are support yet as far as i know yet but could be wrong).
EDIT -

Oh wow... I tried LauncherPro prior to asking and completely missed the shortcut to activities option.
Nice to see that Google was smart enough to include 2.x versions of Android! They're learning!

Ok. I am using apex but there is no shortcut or widget for play games. Can this about Region i live? I am from Turkey.

To see play games icon in apex follow this steps:
1. Press holds in any space in apex desktop
2. select shortcuts then select activities
3. find Google play services and select
4. you will see play games icons and select settings.Activity
5. Done

Is there a game on the play store that has implemented the game service API yet?

Hello,
I can't connect to the new services of Google Play Games with any games, I tried SuperStickMan Golf 2 and some more and all are left with a white screen (loading) until the sign in fails ("unknown error").
I have Hangouts running (that use Google Play Services) and a Google+ account linked to the google phone account.
Have a International Galaxy Note 2 with Android Revolution v17.
Anyone else with this problem?
Thanks

I guess service not startet yet ?

Widget Help
Scenario:
When I click on Music Widget (stock/gapps version) it asks which player you would like to use... 'Music: com.android.music' or 'Music: com.google.android.music'
If I select the second one I get the big 'Sorry! The application Music (etc...) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.'
I know beta has it's is own widget but it isn't themed like stock under CM7 themes.
Since the beta version wants/tries to use the stock widget is there any way to allow it?? i.e. No need to force close?
This is mainly to keep aesthetic theme appeal ^^

I'm assuming you were talking to me though without a quote I cannot be sure. I did try ME (Market Enabler) prior to posting this request. Setting my SIM to US T-Mobile or US Verizon did NOT affect the change I was wanting. I am still unable to located Google Music on my phone or via the Market Online. Prior to you asking, yes I did double-check that the sim identifier was modified.
So, if you happen to have Google Music (latest version) and you have Titanium Backup I would truly appreciate a single backup copy of it. Thank you for the response.
I had to uninstall the mobile app. It was moving music from my phone to my car flash drive without being prompted. Stuff I didn't want on the flash drive or had categorized differently. Also, it would start playing every time I would want to stream internet radio from my phone through the car stereo bluetooth connection. I'd stop it so I could hear the station and it would start back up again.

[4.2] Clock plus DayDream

Update 11/24 - v1.1: Support for Android 4.0-4.1

Besides the default clock it shows current date and the next alarm and there is even an option to show unread messages, texts and missed calls notification.

[APP] Play Store 4.0.25 (Blue Themed)

Hey
So I kinda didn't like the new Play Store look. Too much green, red and orange within the respective sections. So, thanks to forum member jugg1es' encouragement, I themes the whole thing so that it has a Holo Light look. I've not themed the arrows, check marks etc to maintain the subtle difference between apps, books, magazines, movies and music.
Instructions
- Open your file manager
- Navigate to /system/app
- Rename Phonesky.apk/vending.apk to Phonesky.bak/vending.bak
- Paste the downloaded file here and rename it to Phonesky.apk/vending.apk
- Set permissions to rw-r--r--
- Reboot

Make sure you've installed it to system files. I wiped the playstore from my phone then reinstalled as user app and started getting force closes. Converted it to a system app using titanium and every thing works sweet
But in stock play store the Books category is blue, too. How did you manage to seperate apps and book? Or is every category blue?

I just downloaded and followed the instructions to install it from here:
http://www.androidauthority.com/google-now-launcher-renamed-343048/
It has been renamed to Google Now Launcher.
But it is indeed awesome!!

You need to install the GoogleHome-0.10.1.920880 apk file from the second link on this page:
http://www.androidauthority.com/google-now-launcher-renamed-343048/
Then go to settings>General>Default Applications>Home and select Google Now Launcher.
Good Luck

I thought that the point of official release means that it will be avaialble from the Play Store. I think it is still rolling out for different regions.
Anyways does the launcher have an option for sorting the App Drawer other than alphabetical order?
Tested on Note3 back to Nova.... still the best
Google Now Launcher will be nice if the App Drawer can set Folder or hide unwanted apps, or sort our own so It won't just messy around.

Exactly. The only good thing is the always listening feature. Otherwise the launcher's horrible.

Ya, agree!
I've been a Apex Pro user since ICS back at Galaxy S2, and it is the tiny details that made me go for it, however with stuff like xposed, the launcher is going to get a lot of mods.
The current grid size is stupid and made more for sub-five-inch phones, worthless if we cant choose the layout sizes.
Great!
Mix it with this one, and you'll be able to adapt it to the Note 3 screen size
