Hi,
A while ago I have deleted my battery stats file and a few days ago I have noticed that looking at the battery usage menu everything is at 0%. So the file never re-created, i guess. How can i fix this? Battery life is not abnormal.
Also, my wifi settings change from "sleep when screen turns off" to "never sleep" without me doing anything. Could this be a widget or app?
I'm running MIUI XJ rom on a HTC Desire.
Thanks.
. pls tell me steps to increase the battery . it drains 50
percent in airplane mode in 8 hrs. Android os is taking 64 % and all apps installed like twitter etc are taking 1%. Pls help me . And what is best setting for no frills for best battery.?
I am running miui v5
try to remove any recently installed application. poorly coded application may cause this. and also download and install current widget from market this ll let u know that which application is causing drain. and then try to remove it.
Try battery calibration from market;for me is very good.

I Agree, in my case the battery performes better using battery calibration after each flash. Also the battery drain is a common bug in Test Keys v5, read the Q & A thread of MIUI V5!
some like mine...
battery calibration didn't work, only remove battery stats, take a look http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1443108
I own a Moto G. Recently it was upgraded to KitKat 4.4.4. Before the update, when the battery level fell below 14%, battery saver (built-in battery saver) automatically came up and a message stating background data restricted was shown along with the battery saver icon. But after the update, there is no message and the icon doesn't come up even though the battery saver is enabled. I tried clearing the cache and even resetting the phone, but of no use!! Does anyone have the same issue? Please help me!!
Solved it!!

Can u tell me what you did to fix it? I'm facing the same issue since I upgraded. In fact it's not just about the notification, my battery saver just doesn't work anymore, even though it's on!! All this is happening after the 4.4.4 update.
Here you go...

Just update Assist and Contextual services and the battery saver will be back online
Hello guys
I recently installed Cyanogenmod 11 on my Xperia L and I noticed that the battery drains very fast compared to stock. I searched this problem and it appears to be a deep sleep issue, but i don't really found out how to solve it. My battery stats show a great consumption on Google Play services and Display, so I guess it fits the deep sleep problem. I tried disabling some services, but i don't really know which one since i am kinda noob at this.
If anybody could provide a clear and detailed solution, that would be great. Thank you.

Use the greenify app from playstore
I don't think that would solve much. I installed better battery stats and these are the ones causing battery drain:
Awake
Wifi On
Wifi Running
No Data Connection
No or unknown signal
All these have 100% at battery consumption. Greenify only allows me to put to hibernation apps like Facebook, Messenger or so.
So... any other ideas?

Come on cm12 the battery's much better over here!
Hey there,
Hope you are well. When i do Settings - Battery & performance, it is showing last 30 minutes and sometimes 4 minutes. I did some research about this issue on the internet (Reddit, etc.) and many people have this problem. May i ask how can i view the battery stats correctly? I don't want to use 3rd party battery stats app because as i learn they are really draining battery.
Also i see Cell Standby is draining battery because it's usage is %28.4 since 1 day.
May i ask when do you think to fix battery stats issue? We really in trouble with this issue. We really need urgent update about this. Any hel
Stock ROM, MIUI 12.1.3, Global Stable, not rooted
Thanks in advance.
Kind Regards.

Done.
What you're reporting is battery consumption, isn't related to what the battery stats tool - embedded in Android - reports.
You can dump battery stats with ADB
adb shell dumpsys batterystats
