I've got a US Gmail account that I've got linked to Google Play. I've just loaded it with $25 worth of Google Play credits via a gift card, but it won't let me download any paid apps saying that it's high risk. I've waifed the prescribed 30mins as indicated, tried logging out and logging in, restarting the phone, etc, no dice. High risk every time.
Now, I'm actually NOT from the US so I don't have a driver's license, US credit card or anything. Just a US Gmail account that I can't get verified. How do I fix this? Is my $25 stuck and unusable forever?

I been buying apps, games, and songs from the Play store for years, and now everything I do gets errored out. I can download free apps, but nothing paid. Can't use play credit, my CC, or charge to my phone account. Just started the other day. Well, I got an email from google saying they had issues with verifying my account and I need to provide a copy of a utility bill or goverment ID. Are they serious?? Anyone ever seen this? I seen this before, but it was an issue on google's side, and it fixed itself out. I responded to their email, but haven't heard anything. I did a search, and seems like some people have been waiting months for something to resolve their issues, but nothing yet.
Can anyone provide any insight?
Hello,
I recently borrowed tablet that I needed to create app for some company, that was the chief's son tablet. I did the job, gived it back and was sure that i logged out from my google account. But right now on my google account in "my apps" I see thousand of free apps and I am scared that this kid will start buying paid games on my credit card. I contacted chief via e-mail, but till now there is no answer. Cannot contact him personally because right now I am not in the city.
So is there any way to exclude one of devices from my google account via web browser on my computer?
Can't you just change your Google password instead?
Well, I didn't thought about this, actually I can do it if there is no other way. I do not know how complicated it will be, because I have this two-step verification login etc.
I don't believe there is any other way of simply deleting a device from your Google account.
HI,
I have a google account with google play where i redeemed a gift card i won sometime ago. However, that is not the account for google play and email that i use the most and that i want to use, so i was wondering if its possible to transfer the play store balance to other account and purshaced apps also?
I have been using 2 accounts on my phone, but i have to switch it up sometimes and poweramp is one of the apps i bought and it gives me a validation of purschase error sometimes and i think it might be because the account that i used to purshace it with (the one with the gift card balance) is not always selected as main account on the play. So i just wanted to have everything in one account.
Is this possible?
Thank you!
I currently have a weird issue with the google play app store.
I have quite a few payment methods on my account (credit card, debit card, paypal and carrier billing) but all of them fail and give an error of "invalid payment method" or "this payment method has been declined) for one specific app (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.robotics.wearable.trains&hl=en). I can buy other apps fine with no issue, but this specific app fails every time.
I have tried using my phone, my tablet, multiple web browsers on my laptop and even tried setting up a new google account with my paypal account linked to it on a spare phone, but I always get the same errors.
I am guessing this is an issue to do with the app / developer now, and have emailed them. But in the meantime I am wondering if anyone has seen something similar before and if they managaed to fix it.
Cheers.
Having the same issue (different app). I have a ticket opened with Google.
Hi,
Have a Galaxy S4 with a standard Android 5.0 build on it. All working well.
I have a Google Play store account with a credit card assigned.
I also have another Google Play store account which I have added a $30.00 Google play store voucher to.
When I want to purchase a Google play resource, it always selects the primary Google account with the credit card assigned to it.
Is there any way to select the 'second' account with the $30.00 Google Play voucher for payment of app/purchase?
I'm thinking I could remove the Google Play account with the credit card, leaving only the second account with the voucher, but wondering if there is a cleaner way of accessing the $30.00 voucher card account., without having to delete accounts.
Thanks for any thoughts/help.

I believe you must sign out of the first from settings>accounts>Google. Then sign in with your other account.

Hmm.. that's what I was thinking too. But was hoping you could "magically" switch between accounts without having to "remove" the primary credit card account. and then add it again later. It would/could seriously trash an Android device if the primary account has purchased many apps like Titanium Backup, Droidmail, Business Calendar and etc.
If lucky, at best those apps will just not work during the switch, at worst.....
Before I really thought about this, I thought is was a good/easy way for "significant other" to buy stuff on the voucher card and not have to concern myself about using the credit card account.
I believe, without ever having done it, a primary account can have multiple payment options.
Thus the primary account could have both the credit card and the voucher.
BUT, the voucher was just for one person and not the other little monkeys that use the 'primary' account for all there 'generic/common' paid applications.

You could try to just add the other account to your device. Settings>accounts>add account>Google.
Then see if you get the option to switch between the two.
