[Q] Galaxy fit partition - Samsung Galaxy Fit GT 5670

What is the use of /dev and /mnt/obb partition?
I see we have 147mb free on each...
Can we repartition to increase the internal partition?

That would be good if we could, the new CM11 builds take up a fair amount.

What kind of answer is that? Either say something useful or keep it to your self.
Ext4 is a filesystem, usually used on linux systems.

Give this a try. I have a tab 2 10.1 but haven't tried it yet. I am going to as soon as I get an empty card. Be careful and make sure you do a complete
backup. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1874485
I'm sorry but I don't understand the need for this. What difference does it actually make

Yeah, for gps apps that load maps to sd--that way you don't need a data connection, just gps. That info can be up to 4gig, which is a lot of space. Also, for game data etc.

What size is the Sd card? And are you sure that you have it formatted properly?
Could be going bad. I had one go bad it I think it started this way. Most reputable companies offer a warranty. Mine was a SanDisk, I called and after a 10min call, they emailed me a shipping label and I had a new one within 7 business days. Might be a good idea just to get the ball rolling on a new one.
I don't flash anything from my sd, I just keep music on it. This phone seems to hate sd cards at times.

It is the 16 gb sd card that came stock with the phone from Verizon... Could rooting /having a custom Rom have something to do with it?

Yeah that would be sick. Has Modaco stated any plans about making this for the S4?

It is technically possible so maybe it will be done. But two Roms will take more of the already limited memory space on S4.
SDcard?

Would probably be more useful if the second ROM can be put on the SD card (Samsung kindly provided a 64Gb card

F2FS Bad??

So yeah.. I flashed a f2fs ROM about 4 months ago.. I then flashed back to ext4 after hearing how bad f2fs is for the I internal storage because it didnt support "fstrim command" yet or something..
Can someone fill me in on what's really going on with f2fs. Personally, I see NO improvements from ext4.
More info please

Oh well.. I'm past F2FS and I'm using AndroidL now.

You need numbers and graphs to prove that. Simply stating your opinion isn't good enough. In my eyes, the file system we already have is good enough and if someone wants to prove to me that this other file system is better they'll have to do the research to prove otherwise.
Besides, we're already onto lollipop, anything on kit kat is pretty much irrelevant now. As every day passes, lollipop becomes more and more stable for the opo.
