What size is the Sd card? And are you sure that you have it formatted properly?
Could be going bad. I had one go bad it I think it started this way. Most reputable companies offer a warranty. Mine was a SanDisk, I called and after a 10min call, they emailed me a shipping label and I had a new one within 7 business days. Might be a good idea just to get the ball rolling on a new one.
I don't flash anything from my sd, I just keep music on it. This phone seems to hate sd cards at times.

It is the 16 gb sd card that came stock with the phone from Verizon... Could rooting /having a custom Rom have something to do with it?

Another question on my previous inquiry.
Is the Samsung S3 sold in India with normal sim card? or micro sim card? If it is normal, than I can delay my purchase and buy it in India. Your answers will be of great benifit for me.
Thanks.
You should probably add this to your other thread. And ask a mod to move that one to Q&A.

Give this a try. I have a tab 2 10.1 but haven't tried it yet. I am going to as soon as I get an empty card. Be careful and make sure you do a complete
backup. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1874485
I'm sorry but I don't understand the need for this. What difference does it actually make

Yeah, for gps apps that load maps to sd--that way you don't need a data connection, just gps. That info can be up to 4gig, which is a lot of space. Also, for game data etc.

I haven't seen anything about this so hopefully somebody out there can help. My speaker makes a crackling/popping sound for all media including ring tones, it also makes the sound when headphones are plugged in. Is there an easy fix for this? Its driving me crazy!

Up Your voltages for your kernal past 1050. If you're running lean kernal.. Imoysen wrote a script to revert back to stock voltages.

Yea, either get a replacement or root and install a custom kernel like the first user stated. If nothing and I mean absolutely nothing else is wrong with your phone them I suggest just rooting/unlocking and installing a custom kernel since you're already using a solid phone. You never know your luck when doing exchanges, the replacement may be better or worse overall.

Glade it has a lifetime warranty but what good is it if you loose all of you data.
I guess it's time to get a Samsung PRO SDXC.

I have the instructions, but my micro SD does not fit in the slot they provide. Help!
You are kidding, right?
It doesn't have a microSD card slot. I hope you're not trying to cram an SD card into the SIM card slot.
Micro SD? Either your genuinely confused or you mean the Micro Sim slot? Nexus devices don't have SD Card slots...

Was genuinely confused, now I just feel dumb. No MicroSD slot. Thanks guys.
