[Q] how to play tegra games or any high quality games on g2x using custom rom?

hi there i am a G2x owner i am using custom roms but i am not able to play any tegra games or high quality games when i use custom rom ..
i am able to play all games on stock rom but when i install custom rom cm7 or miui it shows your devide not supported ..how to fix this issue ?

What ROM are you on? I'm on CM7 and it works perfectly fine for me.

I'm using a costume rom and I got good high quality games. I got Madden NFL 12, N.O.V.A 2, 9MM, GangstarMiami and Modern Combat. All them are HD games. I love my G2X. I only paid for Modern Combat and the rest free.

Use a better Rom. All good on Weapon.

hiii there thanks for replying i tried lot of rom but in each and every rom i used i got the same error " device not supported for this game"..
did i do any mistake while flashing recovery image with NVflasher?
Since NVFlashing was done by my friend i don't know what mistake he made while doing that ..i tried to do the same procedure lot of time but still i get error...

Hmmm, that's really odd... I've tried almost every ROM for this phone and I've been able to play games with no issues. Have you tried WeaponG2x? Maybe a stock based ROM suits you best.

You know, I went to EB 2.3.3 and same thing happened to me. Even YouTube was showing my device wasn't compatible. So I went to market, cleared cache and data and everything is working fine now. Give that a shot and let me know if that worked out for you.

Modern combat 4 doesn't work on p3113

Ok so I downloaded the whole data, and I get the message that says that the download is complete, press ok to start playing. But when I press ok, the game just force closes.
Has anyone else had a similar experience? It works just fine on the 3110 which my friend owns :/

No I'm currently running cm10

I currently have a stock based 4.1.1 ROM on my Tab, and can't run Modern Combat 4 either. I can run it with no issues on my Nexus 4, though, so I know it's not an issue with Jellybean itself.

Same. I have a rooted tab on 4.03 except i cant even download the data. It says "verifying files" or "checking files" then goes to the loading screen for 20 seconds and crashes. Never even gives me the option to download the data. I am losing hope tho because i have heard there is a list of gameloft games that simply do not work on ics roms. Hello all of you who suffer for android 4.3 (CM10.2) and Netflix compatibility problem. Problem has a solution Xposed framework application for android 4.2.2 version, but unfortunately, the application does not yet support the latest version of android. Here is the solution that I found months ago. So this is the original Netflix update 2.0.2 that for one reason or another works android 4.3. Download and install the application as normally, enjoy!

This worked for me on my Chuwi V88S tablet with 4.2.2. I have been trying to get this to work for several weeks now.

Running current netflix on CM 10 (all versions)
You can run the current version of Netflix on the latest CM 10 on EMMC through the latest CM10.2 nightly.
Working for All Exynos4 devices as well as most other CM 10 flashed devices.

Current Xposed framework links including CM10.2 (4.3). Current updates for Modules and various Persist thru Rom update scripts.

Has anyone installed Viper4android on Nexus s running Android 4.4?

Hi folks.!!
So I will try to make it as brief as possible. I really and badly wanted to install Viper4Android on my nexus s as I've come across some really good reviews of this app. So headed to the official thread of V4A and downloaded the FX version and installed the 4.x version of it.!!
Everything went well till here. Then, when I launched the app, it requested for a update/install of driver to which I granted the Supersu permission but the driver never got installed irrespective of how many times I gave it a try.!! I have a nexus s running unofficial cyanogenmod 11 android 4.4 overclocked to 1.2GHz and the version of V4A is 2.3.1.3 (if this is of any concern). Having heard V4A has issues with superuser I download Supersu from google play and gave it a try, but was of no use. This time I flashed a zip of supersu but was out of luck as nothing happened this time too.!! I've tried in each and every possible way to get it working on my nexus s but nothing went fine. Infact I've been trying since yesterday almost continuously to get it working and every time it did let me down.!!! I don't really understand what and where the problem is. Why are drivers not getting installed.!!? It keeps on telling me that driver installation is failed and is prompting to check if my device has root access and if su binary is installed when both of them are working fine (at least to my knowledge they really are working). I've seen in some thread that installation of V4A requires busybox to work, so installed it (smart install) but nothing happened.!!
Some posts are suggesting to install it as an user app rather than a system app. I don't really how to install apk as an user app.!! Someone here can help me know.!!?
Has anyone ever tried V4A on their nexus s (with any android version). Did it work fine with the specifications of this device or has anyone encountered any problems so far (assuming someone had a fair install).!! Besides when I chose Super Audio quality, it seems the device should have a dual core cpu. Is it recommended to install V4A in Super Audio quality because nexus s has 1GHz single core processor. Does it have any effect on speakers if used daily.!?
It really is very irritating when you come across some really useful app which you've been waiting from a very long time, besides having a rooted device with latest supersu version only to find drivers ain't getting installed.!!! Someone help me.!!!

I got it from the play store (there are three versions) you need the 4.3.x version install the ?? with neon driver, reboot and works great..

I installed it on my NS4G, chose cortex a8 with neon, and it worked, but it only plays out the phone speaker, it won't play through my ear buds or car stereo

Oh.!! It kind of seems weird. So V4A not working quite well on android 4.4 through ear buds.!!!
Good that you did let me know, coz later when I install and encounter the same problem I will at least be satisfied that am not the only one.!!
But I really need it to be working in ear phones as well. Hope this gets fixed soon.!!!

The same problem keeps persisting. Drivers ain't getting installed.!!
Is there any way to manually install the drivers.!!?

I think it was just that my ROM was screwed up, because I switched to a different one and it worked AMAZINGLY. So I don't think the app had anything to do with it not playing right

Well, then, this gives some ray of hope to me.!! Since this is an unofficial version am using, I think it would be better to revert back to some stable build of previous version of rom and give it a shot.!!!

Modded amd Offline Games problem

i got a problem on playing games download outside playstore, for example a nba 2k14 modded as shohoku vs knb install apk and pasting obb, when i run games it suddenly back to home. any one clear my mind and tell me what should i do? im on pure nexus rom, when im on stock rom the problem the same.

Probably no one can help you here, it is a problem with the downloaded files or the game because it's modded. You should contact the one who modded the game to get some support.

how about unmodded games? spmetime games coming from offline download doesnt run too.

Maybe it is a incompatibility issue with the ROM you are running? Have you tried to run those games you have problems with on different ROMs? You could try to take a backup of your current setup and just try an another ROM just to test if those games will run on another Kernel and ROMs combinations. That's the only tip I have for you...
