[Q] Have you successfully installed, configured, & used Chainfire 3D on your Note?

XDA Members & Note 10.1 Owners:
I'll try to make this a short question/post. Just as the title asks, have ANY of you been able to successfully install Chainfire 3D, configure it, and play games with it running on your Note 10.1? I ask this because my first attempt at installing Chainfire 3D on my fully stock, but rooted, GT-N8013 ended in a bootloop that started immediately after the driver install. However, strange as it may sound, I decided to take another crack at installing Chainfire 3D on my Note 10.1. I used the same device, a GT-N8013; but this time it had been ODIN-Flashed with a GT-N8010 ROM and looked, acted, and even OTA-updated like a GT-N8010. Anyway, I did a full CWM backup, rebooted, and proceeded to install Chainfire 3D. However, for some strange reason, it worked perfectly this time. I've been playing THD games with 16x anti-aliasing on my Note 10.1 all morning.
So, as the title asks, is Chainfire 3D working on your Note 10.1? Was it a fluke when Chainfire 3D bootlooped my Note 10.1? Or, was it a fluke when Chainfire 3D successfully installed on my Note 10.1? I'd really like to know.

I bought this app thinking it would help with rendering a videogame i was playing on the lg revolution. I hadn't installed it actually, because i still wasnt quite sure what its for ---exactly---
But yes it installed, installed the driver from the app, now what do i do with it?

I'm having problems with Chainfire aswell.
Tried several older versions and the latest one from google play.
All install fine, driver installs fine.
But it doesnt seem to work.
Nightmode won't go on, can't load any tegra games or whatever.
Edit: All plugins are installed, tried it with all plugins.
Night mode wont turn on, can't play games intended for tegra.
Got an 8010, stock rom, rooted ofc

Night mode does not work correctly on ICS. Tegra games working will depend if the game was designed for Tegra 3 or Tegra 2

Google search for libGLEMU_NVIDIA.zip download. Select Install plugins / shaders, chainfire 3d will scan for your downloaded plugin, select found plugin when search is complete.
Just as a warning, if you upgrade to Jelly Bean at some point; uninstall chainfire 3d otherwise you will end up in a boot loop.

Those of you that have it running on your note 10.1 which Android version are you currently running ICS or JB?
JB will give you a boot loop.

Instaled 3.3 on JB 4.1.1 stock BLJ9. Doesent even bootloop. Freezes at starting NOTE 10.1 screen, doesent even get to samsung picture and sound and doesent reboot. Its just stuck there. Had to reflash and didnt try installing again.
Hi, guys. I'm from the Sensation forum and a few months ago, xxxPachaxxx released a pack that contained PlayStation Certificates. I discovered that with the certificates, the newly released PlayStation Mobile works!
I have made a flash able zip that installs these certificates.
How to install:
Flash the certificates from here
Download and install the PlayStation Mobile app from here
Open the app and see if it opens.
If it worked, PM me with your device and android version so I can add it device to the list of working devices.

works for me, unzipped and installed manually the certificates (locked bootloader), rebooted, installed the app and works!!! only thing, registration is bugged, you need to have a previously created account to login with and the app will show you all The contents.
btw, these are my specs:
International Atrix (non-4g)
stock 2.3.6 rom, rooted

Works for me. I used the same Sony account I have for my ps3. It loads and I see some games. I downloaded a "Free" one, it loaded but wasn't really free.
I'm using the Elegancia Rom on my htc vivid.

Mine does 100% the same as yours, keeps jumping between on and off! Works fine with the Tab 10.1 keyboard dock though (I modified it to work with the Note 10.1). I know it was working prior to my upgrade.

Mine does this too.. I have 2 OTG adapters and they both do it with any device plugged in.
Restored back to ICS...Everything works great...Now off to test different ROMS

Seems like its not working on the N8010/13 with Jellybean N8000 rom.
Perhaps it's fixed when Samsung releases the official N8010 firmware

I'm running the Hyperdrive RLS6 ROM with the latest Zeus kernel and, recently, the recent apps list has been very slow to load and recognize my touches. It wasn't like this right after flashing the ROM so I'm guessing it's due to an app update, but I can't seem to trace what it is. Nothing obvious in BetterBatteryStats and nothing I kill seems to improve the speed. Just to give you an example, in a recent test it took 13 seconds for the tablet to even highlight the app I had selected and switch to it.
Oh, and sometimes the app that opens is the wrong one altogether.
Otherwise, everything on the tablet behaves normally and, once the recent apps list recognizes what I've selected, it loads rather quickly. Any idea what app or setting might affect this?

I'm running RLS6 too, and I was getting that delay too. So I reflash the rom using Stock kernel, and it's running smooth now. But you may also want to try "fstrim" to try to remove some of the lag.
My advice is:
1. Use Lagfix "fstrim" ( https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.grilledmonkey.lagfix) and trim /system /data and /cache then reboot.
2. If it doesnt help, reflash using stock kernel (full wipe).

Thanks. I was used to lagfix on my ASUS Transformer tablet but haven't needed to do this since getting my Note. I'll give it a shot.
Whoa, I get "FSTRIM: Operation not supported on transport endpoint" for all mount points. I know this used to work on previous kernels though, as I mentioned earlier I never found it to be necessary. Can someone verify if the latest Zeus kernel supports this?

As the title states my Google search is no longer working after the new update. The only way I can get it to work it to clear cache, data, and uninstall updates which will then revert the app to factory form. After doing all that the app works no issues but then the app updates itself and then i keep getting same error message every time I try to load it.. Anyone else have this issue? Running P6800 with JB 4.1.2. Thanks in advance.

I have the same issue. I read there are issues on some nexus devices. I think just wait for Google to release a fix.

Same here. Reverted to the previous version and waiting for the update with correction (hopefully),
I just did a phone reset hoping it would solve the issuebut nothing. Google just released a new update and still same problem.

Indeed, the release of 11/21 is no good either.
I have been looking all over the net and can't seem to find any info on this, Google hasn't even acknowledged there is something wrong. Maybe this is only affecting a very small number number of people.

Both Google Now / Search and Newsstand have been crashing on launch with the stock ROM. But on my other JB devices no such problem. I tried rooting this tablet. No change. Then I flashed the unofficial Cyanogenmod 10.1. That solved the problem.
My assumption: the Samsung stock ROM is the source of the problem.
What did I learn?
- My tablet is running smoother without all the Samsung crap. I should have done it even sooner!
- I will probably gravitate in the future to Nexus devices where the OS is not compromised by vendor-motivated overhead. And it's easier to get updates and custom ROMs.
- Because Samsung has not been fully cooperative with the developer community, ROMs often lack certain device drivers. (Another advantage for Nexus.)
If this motivates you to root and flash just be aware of two known deficiencies with the ROM I am using:
-no tethering
-once you turn off wifi you'll have to reboot to turn it on again.
(Thanks, Samsung for withholding wifi device drivers from the public.)
We shouldn't have to install custom roms in order for an app to work. I have tried to report the issue to Google but I have yet to receive feedback. I have flashed many roms and many of my Android devices but I longer wish to do so since no one rom is fully functional as it should, there will always be issues. I too may consider a Nexus device, but at the same time I have always liked Samsung and their products but this one issue with this app is a little annoying.

What I don't understand is that my wife's Note I I was able to update with no issues, her phone is running JB 4.1.2. I'm no tech or anything but I believe it may have something to with our tab itself.

After flashing the JB 4.1.2 Indonesian firmware, my Google search has stopped working. No matter what I do it always crashes.
I don't have option to uninstall updates from app manager. Does any of u guys have an older version of Google search? Would be really glad if u can post it for me.

Whether Samsung or Google, the android environment can come across as chaotic. So much going on with all various versions.
Samsung keep selling us pretty much the same devices with new software, I'm not particularly impressed their pace of improvements.
Google products seems to work well on Apple ios, android is still missing functions available Apple for a good while now, funny how that works.

It is the apk file, should be about 14.4 MB. Try to download again and let me know if any problems.

Oops. Too bad, that is the oldest one I have, and it works fine in my case.
I know I'm not the only one with this issue, anybody have an any ideas as to why Google search no longer works, even after new updates. On My wife's Note II she gets all the updates with no issue, she is also running 4.1.2. This is really pissing me off.

I hv the same problem after update to official Singapore ROM.
Cannot wait for a respectable tab with phone function so I can ditch Samsung forever.
