Is my HTC One s bricked? Need help :( - HTC One S

Today my htc one s with Cyanogenmod 11 went to 0% battery and shut down, which was normal I guess...
But now it won't boot, there is no led light, Holding power button doesn't do anything, power and vol down doesn't do anything, neither does power and vol up...
I've had some issues booting my htc one s before but never this long
The only sign of life is a fast light flash that happens (sometimes) when I press power and vol down...
EDIT: it's been charging for quite some time now and the screen flashes sometimes.. really weird
It seems to be in QHSUSB_DLOAD mode but there's nothing on the screen or anything...

This might be a total noob question....

How do I turn the phone on?
OK, not as stupid as it might sound; when the battery gets to 0 and the phone powers down, I have real problems powering it back up again. Even after it's left plugged in for a while, I just have a flashing orange notification light.
Pressing the power on button does nothing.
Pressing and holding the power on eventually makes the screen flash (hard reset?)
But the phone wont start up unless I unplug it.
Should the phone vibrate/blink/flash to show it is starting the boot up process?
For how long do you charge it after dead?
Is it with the original charger?

it is totally normal for htc phones to do that. blinking yellow light means the battery is too low to power the system but it is still charging the battery. after 10-15 minutes of charging, the blinking yellow will change to stable yellow light after which you can press the power button to turn on your phone. hope this helps

Phone stuck with black screen...

Yeah, so i went to sleep with it connected to my computer and woke up with a black screen that will not turn on for anything. when i plug the charger in the light at the top turns green. Any ideas to fix?
stock unrooted w/ jellybean OTA
I had this happen the other night.
Held the power button and volume down and the screen finally woke up.

unplug from any cables, hold power+volume down for ~15 seconds. phone should reboot.
if this does not work, try power + volume up, to see if you can get in fastboot
Got it working. I literally tried every button combo I could think holding them for as long as a minute. Went to vzw and the guy got it into to fastboot on the first try... power button and volume up is what he said he did... don't know why it didn't work for me

[Q] Force Off Phone

My phone is having many many issues, and I can not get it to power off. I've held the power button down for minutes on end but it won't do anything. And to be specific, I'm not in a Rom trying to do this, I'm stuck in some sort of "grey" screen hell. If I plug into my computer, ADB recognizes it and will even pull a device number, but the phone will not respond to any command. I'm really just trying to get to the fastboot screen so I can hopefully flash the RUU.
Any help would be greatly appreciate.
Thanks
You have to hold power+vol up. I think it's something like 10 sec.
Hold up on volume and power at the same time, this is equal to a battery pull and as soon as the phone turns off hold volume down and power to enter fast boot.

I did that for several minutes. It never actually powered off. Fortunately the battery died, and I was able to plug the phone back in and then do what I needed.
Thanks guys!

Question on non-removable battery?

Say you get into a bad flash situation/hanging boot screen that just resets upon reboot and cant get to recovery. A battery pull in the past a has allowed subsequent access to recovery. What do you do in the case of a non-removable battery phone? Never had one and have used the batt pull method a lot.
Thanks.

Holding power and volume up until screen goes off and phone vibrates will restart device. Power and volume down will boot into recovery. Try both to become familiar.
Power + Vol Down & Up apparently cuts the power to the battery? Either way if the "cuts power to battery" part is wrong it still cuts it off.

only power + vol up cuts power on the M8, actually.
but yeah, battery pull on the M8 is simply holding power + vol up. Have had to do it dozens of times while hanging at start screens, works fine.

Black screen and not turning on!?

Hey gus my m8 got crazy he was on my pocket, when i get it out he was off and i cant turn it on
I try all the solutions except one i try hold power for 15sec and i try vol up and powe
I saw that som1 worte to hold power and vol down and vol up for 1-5 min also he said to plug it to wall charge and it neet to show red light but the light on up my screen is orange..
So i stuck with the question how its came red or there any other solution for my problem except send it to the company.
Thank u guys .
