Is this 4.4.1 or 4.4.2?
And what kernel are you using with it? Stock or Torched 3/3.2?

Everything is completely stock on my end. I always run everything completely stock for at least a few days before customizing kernel settings. It helps me to isolate possible issues better.

One thing of note for everyone wanting to try this ROM. It seemed a bit laggy while setting everything up initially. However, a good reboot and I can honestly say, it has been absolutely great since!

Flashed and all set up. Very nice. Great work here. Just the right amount of tweaks and features. The Rom is really quick and responsive. Xposed works great on it too. Thanks for bringing this to our forum!

This looks great! I'm excited to see that I was able to help someone out! This rom looks promising and it seems like it's gonna be a busy thread for you. Congrats!

Seeing as the build is less than 7 hours old, nobody should be commenting nor asking about battery life. At any rate, try it yourself. It won't kill you to backup and flash. Your mileage may vary too
Also there is a Q/A thread you were asked to use instead of clogging this thread. Please use it next time

Thanks for reminding me. Consider it done for next release.
And just to clarify, which apps exactly are you referring to?

This is with only about two hours of screen time... Stock Kernel and minimal adjustments to OS.
Seems like a promising indicator!

Battery life is indeed great. I have it set to power save profile and it works very well. Even on power save it is still overall very quick and responsive. All of my xposed additions are working great also. Nice work!

Is anyone having trouble with ADB using this ROM? I have had a report of it not working for a user. As it works fine on my end, I am just trying to get a general feel from other users. Please let me know. Thank you.
Additionally, I have also had a report of WiFi not working from another user. Is this isolated, or are there any others experiencing the same issue?

Haven't had a chance to test either. For anyone who hasn't had a chance to give this bad boy a run, or who is apprehensive because you've never heard of it, do it! It's really snappy and it's a solid little ROM.

Started noticing that randomly the navigation buttons just appear at bottom of screen. I do not have them enabled and they will not go away until i press navigation buttons reset and then reboot. Sometimes after a while they just reappear again.

Heh if only we could get a kernel. Sadly there will not be one until sammy releases an offical GB which I hear could be happening beginning next year. When it comes to placing blame its not so much Samsung at fault here. I mean there seems to be a new leak at least once a week here so its not like they aren't working on it. If fault should be placed anywhere its with Tmobile who pretty much doesn't give a fck if you have GB on your phone. They've pretty much taken the, if its not broke don't update it approach.
Well at least he didn't swear at the devs this time.

Thats what I've been wondering actually.
I've only had an android since like march, rooted it within a couple months just so I could delete bloatware, but only really got into flashing and stuff about a month ago. So what's so great about miui that everyone keeps bringing it up? Surely it can't really be any better than whats already available to us.
@scoop_dtx, @95Z28
AFAIK its a ROM that gets official with the MIUI people and receives OTA updates each times a new version is available. Just like CM7. I think.

Yeah, supposedly, it's on par with CM7 now.
As someone who has been running MIUI since April, there are many advantages to using MIUI over other AOSP ROM's.
First, I love the fact that it gets updated weekly. Having to flash nightlies like with CM7 can be a hassle. Once a week works perfect for me and they are constantly making it better and the user interface just works.
Second, look @ this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=990233 There are a few thousand posts to look through to see how you can customize MIUI. You can literally customize every single aspect of the ROM to your liking and I wouldn't want to have my phone any other way.
MIUI has been my daily driver for the better part of the last year and I don't plan on looking back unless something else truly mindblowing comes along.

I don't either. Just scroll through the first section on the 360 launcher. It's about 95% English. If you look on XDA the developer also has converted a few of the add-on apps to English as well.

Major differences. The code is now updated to the current release of CM7 7.2 RC1 also I have removed all the major apps (File Manger, ADW Launcher, File Explorer, etc. as these can all be download from the Play Store). I have added in themes for ICS, Miui and also added 30 new wallpapers based on ICS and Miui. Major bugs that have been resolved is Proximity sensor when you are on calls, Camera, and the worse sound levels that drop off when notifications come in. In the new ROM there is also new video drivers so you will be going from about 13.2FPS to 23.7FPS that was done by Whyzor.
Is there a way to change the background of the drop down notification?

Noob here, just introducing

Hello XDA, just popping in to say hello. Sorry if there's an introduction thread and I didn't see it, but I just thought I'd formally say hello.
Just got my One S on Friday of last week, and I am madly in love with it so far. This is my 4th HTC device in a row on T-Mobile (Shadow, G1, G2, and now the One S).
I've been coming here lurking for a few years now for info on my various phones, and decided to actually register today. Have always gotten nothing but solid info here.

Welcome. I'm relatively new myself having acquired my first HTC indeed my first Android on in May. Loving the experience. You are right, there's some good posters on these fora, if you are into pimping your dial, you can do worse than stick around.
FWIW I had a very good experience with Klins Unofficial AOKP Jelly Bean ROM. I've returned completely to stock now with locked bootloader and a later hboot because I was spending too much time flashing ROMs. Becomes addictive. Now doubt once the OTA JB update has been and gone, I'll get itchy fingers again.
Hope your experience is as good as mine.

Working great. Except having sound motion and lock screen motion on together. Causes sound to change on/off when locking screen.
Unlocking screen doesn't work just lights up the screen. Have to manually unlock. Whether you disable lock screen or not.

Do so! It is amazingly smooth, and, although for now it lacks some features we are
used to it is only a matter of time until those incredible developers are able to incorporate
them. For now third party apps do a decent job. :good:

where you expect to see options to customize the quick settings toggles, and lock screen, and stuff, its all missing. you still have things like the theme engine, and profiles, and quick replies on text messages. its half cyanogenmod and half aosp.

What's wrong? it works.
Scott has taken a good path, solidifying the basics before adding the perks. Nothing like a good foundation, and 4.4 is doing more for our old Infuses, even in its current WIP, than any version of Android since Gingerbread.
My only issue is the rom isn't letting me restore my texts from super backup soon as i get that working i'm using kk as a daily driver
Battery life seems to be better than 4.3. I see lots claiming massive battery time increases, which has me curious how many people leave things like gmail sync,Google now, etc running all the time.

nearly all sms backup apps arent working because of the way sms app handling is done in kitkat. the backup app has to become the default messaging app. i think only sms backup & restore supports this right now, so give that a try. works great for me.
