[APP] HTC One Kernel Tool

HTC One Kernel Tool by djpbx
I've decided to brush up my Java skills, and what better way to do this with as with an app for our very special One.
This app will let you control your kernel, and will give you more control with every version.
Of course you will need an HTC One, a custom kernel, and root of course.
I've only tested this on a self-compiled Omni-rom but it should work with any Android ROM.
The current version only allows you to toggle Logo2Menu, but excpect more later.

wow! love to see you here! I used Lungo on my One S and it was the best I ever had.
Will try out later!
The project sounds interesting. Especially since it's based on CM.
Is there a more detailed description available on how the longer battery life is realized? Is it just from removing apps and widgets? Or are there changes to the code itself, too?
Usually I'd go with CM11. But it would be nice to get a better idea about in how far it differs from the classic CM.

Does this use the newer partition table? Will I need to update my twrp and hboot? Im currently on stock 4.2.2 jelly bean with s-off and hboot 2.19. I don't want any trouble if I decide to go back to stock 4.2.2 jelly bean. Cheers.
ALSO is this build running ART and SELINUX? Will I be able to run Xposed framework with this?

I think this requires the new partition table. i too am s-off, hboot 2.19 twrp 2.6.3. i tried to install this and all seemed fine initially,BUT... it booted to setup then popups saying that "pico tts has stopped" and wont continue. downloaded ROM and gapps a few times in case it was a dodgy dload.

I've got same problem with S-Off and HBoot 2.21 and Twrp 2.6.3.
It is the problem of this ROM - you need to flash it, boot up and then install gApps.
Then it will work - I have the same problem with Codename Lungo on S4 Mini.

Hey @TimV_ nice to see CodenameLungo here
But 3.4 Kernel? If you are using CM´s kernel it is 3.0.31 - Batterydrain on some devices.... don´t got it fixed untill now. On CM we are now using a different kernel because of that.

Same here FC on setup, it seems to have to do with gapps, I am using the latest minimal gapps. If I flash the rom without gapps it starts up fine and seems to be pretty quick. Is there a gapps in particular we should be using?

Lungo GApps http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23329332407593200
If you need some missing Apps:
http://www.androidfilehost.com/?a=show&w=files&flid=9553
Tried with that gapps and still same result, FC constantly during setup. Wiped everything, cache, dalvik, system, factory reset. I have 5113 if that matters. Thanks
OK, finally got it working. Flashed the ROM, booted up, shut down, went to recovery, installed latest minimal gapps. Started up perfectly.
Was definatly a little more work than normal, but this is smoking fast.

Had the same problem when installing, will try it the way you explain.
Do you have a link to the latest minimal gaps please, thx?
PA-gapps are here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2397942
But not sure if it's more recommended to use Lungo gapps posted earlier but Android-Andi.
The instructions on their internetpage states that we should reboot before flashing gapps and then another time before other addons.

[q] gapps flash error on moto g xt 1033

I can't flash gapps with cwm 6.0.4.7 as mentioned in link.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2397942
And i am getting status 6 error installation aborted.
So I don't have google play services.
I can't upgrade cwm as it is the latest version for moto g.
Shall I downgrade or or there any alternate ways.
Please do Provide links..
Which build of crdroid are you on? (It is based on kitkat isn't it?) Because the gapps are 4.4.x so require a KitKat based rom) if your rom is KitKat based and you are getting the error then try using a different recovery (philz recovery: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2639583) or different gapps (CM gapps: http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Google_Apps)
Edit: CWM 6.0.4.7 in particular has a problem with flashing some gapps. So it would be better to change your recovery or if you don't want to, you can try other gapps (this works as confirmed by me; I was also running cwm 6.0.4.7)

In fact its there in their FAQ section
