Sense, I am able to enter TWRP.. what should i do to remove gravity box?

Well gravity box is for aosp so all you will need to do is reflash the ROM unless u have a nandroid you want to go back to

maybe running the terminal from twrp, but i don't know the right commands

I need to know in which folder is located the app i installed.. i know its not system/app.. any help? please!

I don't think you have a choice at the moment, you're gonna have to flash the ROM again. It's important to have a TWRP backup on your phone for this reason. It's also very important to understand what you're installing when you're installing it, Xposed modules included.

Sorry dude, just make sure once you've got your ROM set up again you use the backup feature in TWRP to backup system/data/boot. Then if you get into trouble in future you can restore it easily.

Twrp vs cwm

Hey guys I'm kind of new to TWRP, but not CWM, and I was wondering for us one s users who do not have s-off, what are the benefits to using one over the other? Specifically, what are the benefits to using TWRP over CWM?

For one... TWRP is easier to use (better touch interface).
TWO.. it allows you to flash radio images, even with S-ON
Three... it's much faster at installing ZIPs / backing up or restoring.
For that alone. it's alone for me to run it.

You don't have to flash the hboot through fast boot with twrp you can just flash the Rom and it will automatically flash in the recovery
sent from a guy living in a van down by the river
only negative to consider is that any backups you made with cwm may not restore with twrp. you will have to start from scratch or reflash cwm to restore an older one if needed--
Awesome, so it's almost like having s-off because we don't have to flash the boot separately? More or less?
Sent from my HTC One S using Tapatalk 2
yea, that's about all it does
i consider s-off when we can change partition table and get more data space
So do you reccomend me to flash twrp? have this any bug?
I've done it, and it works great.
Made Backup and Restore,
no Problems at all.

What about an App to run it from within the ROM like ROM Manager?
lol--
This is like should I get the chocolate or vanilla ice cream---
Just flash it guys, if you don't like it go back. It's not like like flashing radios, hboots etc. Very quick and easy.

Sent from my HTC One S using xda premium
I have to disagree with a few posts here, you can do everything the same way with both recoveries. You don't need to flash the boot image in fastboot with cwm I've done it myself and I didn't see any difference in speed between the two backing up or restoring.
It's preference on which you choose to use, I'm not saying that either is bad they both have a great support background and are dedicated to quality as they should be, it's the most important software on your device in consideration to root users and without it working properly your taking a very large risk.
Personally believe recovery should be layed out in a manner that is easy to use and functional for all types of users, adding gimmicks to something that should be taken seriously I feel is unnecessary and both teams do a great job of keeping it clean and treat the work as if they are paid to make them.
Both are great at their work, both are worth having.

I don't know if this is completely true, but you may need to relock your bootloader and go back to the stock recovery in order to get the ota update. Obviously, if someone makes a rom from it you can just use that.

i love you!
Can someone post a flashable zip? I don't want to run the RUU because I don't want to update my hboot.
Alternatively, if someone could post a TWRP nandroid backup file that I can restore, that would work too
I'm currently running the European 2.21 release with the 1.06s radio.
TY!
Sense 4.1 is wicked fast and the option to remove the menu on screen button is awesome more screen real estate for me . My recent apps button now functions as menu button sweet.

Yeah, I thought that was a flashable zip. But I can't flash it using a custom recovery.
FYI people this update also allows more apps to work and download from the play store

Anyone perform the update with encrypted storage? Just want to make sure it doesn't mess anything up before updating. From what I'm seeing, though, this is a nice upgrade.

[Q] Calling on Sense rom

For some reason for every sense Rom I use com.android.phone crashes. I have no clue whats causing it and I've been stuck on Cyanogenmod because of it. I've used Clean rom, Sense 5 rom from evo port, and sense 5 rom from M7. All of which have done the same thing for me.
Please help with my issue
thanks in advance community

OP did manage to fix this issue. He doesn't seem to be updating this thread so I will for future searchers.
CWM caused this issue.
OP flashed a non touch version of CWM
Then fastboot erase cache
then flashed a sense rom and it worked.
He then flashed twrp and fastboot erase cache again so as to get off CWM.
Hopefully others find this.
-_- so much for quitting XDA.

I recommend either going S-Off or grabbing hold of a kernel which has write security disabled. Then installing the apk yourself so you may properly install the driver. May provide better results. I am not all that familiar with this apk myself. I don't even use it lol.
