wifi error after flash to xxkpq

Hi everybody, well, I was just flashed my galaxy scl i9003 whith the stoc rom posted in this forum (xxkpq), everything went fine...when the flash was finished, the phone start as normal, I tryed the wireless conections and everything works well... then I was installled the CWM and made the factory reset and wipes, turn on the phone and I tryed to turn on the wifi connection, in this moment apears error (say error under)....I don't know what else to do...It's drive me crazy...HELP PLEASE!!!!
I was actuallized to xxkph to xxkpm (I think here start the problem) and now to xxkpq.

kph to kpm then kpq shouldn't affect much, but if you want to be sure it's done right, start from the beginning at kpe, then kph, then kpq. then, which version of cwm and cfroot are you using?

Now, I don't have installed any CWM and CF-ROOT because the problem of wifi connectivity, but I used the CF-ROOT with extra posted in the forum, I used the CWM v5, I'm not remember well... At the moment I'm using the stock rom gingerbread 2.3.6...but I can't personalize my phone!!!

follow my instructions, and reflash starting with kpe, then kph, then kpq. then you can do whatever other customizations you want, but the three fw I listed will get you a working kpq with (hopefully) no wifi errors. I've never had a wifi error or disconnect.

I did that the last time I was flashed, everything went well...but, now, if I try to install any CWM or CF-ROOT appears that error....I'm not ussing nothing...only the stock rom and the wifi works very good, the problem appears when I try to install whith the Odin... I try several times flashing like you recomend, and re-install CWM or CF-ROOT whith the same result.

ah, now it's clear, but I think I saved you from his scathing attack for that suggestion
if I had asked him, I'd try to stay away from things like that by asking instead "so you see your wifi is enabled but has an error? did you try toggling it off and on again? what happens when you reset?" so I don't appear to be calling him a total n00b for having that issue

1) just to be clear, when you "restart" by flashing kpe, you're starting with the pit file, then all of kpe ONCE, then kph ONCE and kpq ONCE?
2) so you're saying everything's ok until you flash cf root + EXTRA?
3) what happens if you flash without extra? and are you getting some error when flashing extra?
4) are you also flashing any modded kernel but not mentioning it?
5) what happens when you install the cfroot designed specifically for kpq? I see ganesh updated the kpq cfroot today. try the older one from 11/17 first before the newer one. if the first one works, make a backup and start experimenting with the others

1- I did like you sayd, 1st. Latona, then all the kpe, after thath, kph; kpm and last the kpq...
after thath when the phone start I made a proof about the wireless conections and the wifi works very good...then I put the phone in download mode and tryed to install the cwm v5.026 (I'm not really sure) and here start the problem... Anything I was tryed to install after flashing (cwm, cf-root, or kernel overclock) made the problem whith the wifi error.
Please tell me if I made something wrong in the flashing process.

1) after installing cwm/cfroot with cwm, you have the option to wipe caches. since you've also done the pit file, your data should be lost as well, so there's no harm in going into recovery mode and doing a factory reset, then wipe cache,then advanced/wipe dalvik cache and see what happens then. it may be that just by installing cwm or whatever there is some data conflict but a full wipe should take care of that. after I flash, I never o without a reset and cache wipe.
2) you've had the same issue with both the universal and the one I linked that's specifically designed for kpq?

Well... first of all, tanx to supergaijin, I Installed the CF-ROOT for xxkpq and everything work very good, the wifi error it's gone...now I installed the cyanogen mode 7 thanks to the CWM, I'd made a lot of tests and evrytime I was tryed, the wifi connect to the home wireless network without issues!!!!
now I can personalize mi phone!!!

Ty for attentio really i feel like no one knows a way to solve my problem :S....first of all if u read my post...i have XXLE4....but the problem comes out when i root the phone...i have tried with cf root for XXLE4 and also with the universal method....but alway on wifi i see "error" and cant connect never....:cyclops:

just flash again with compatible xx... file with your phone. i had same problem and fixed

big problem after root

hey guys finally i rooted my phone with the aid of doomlord kernel but 2 big problem have occured.
1-my sd card and xperia neo is not recognized i mean i cannot access to my sd card with usb cable i have enabled usb cable debugging and other media mode but it does not help me as well, i cannot do anytihng right now.
2-my second problem wifi connection which does not work now after rooting i cant get internet access

can u get into CWM and then acces ur sd ? if so try flashing new rom n kernel !

Bro thx answer but the Situation have transformed into really realy hard way plzzz help.
i have installed ice cream 4.0.4 with cwm it was succesful then i have installed kernel but after these 2 steps phone stays XPERIA screen and nothing happen i dont know whether i installed wrong kernel but by the way i have tried nearly 10 different kerlen to fix problem.
Bro plzz help this helpless boy im really sad i cant do anything Xperia neo screen stays On XPERIA scripture and nothing happen

Re-flash a rom, remember wipe data, wipe cache, wipe dalvic cache

always flash kernel first then do wipe data partitions and clear dalvik cache in CWm and then flash the rom via cwm...
(flash kernel in fastboot mod)
dont just try any kernel see the ROM thread to find which kernel is compatible with ur ROM

i have followed your instructions but it remains on XPERIA screen nothing happen.
i first mounted kernel with flash tool then i opened cwm by pressing volume down
finally i have wiped out all cache davit and made factory reset then i have instal succesfully below rom but nothing happen.

try going back to the stock rom !
before flashing ROm or Kernel u should always Backup ur curren ROm via CWm so that u can restore it in case anything goes wrong ( BASICS )...

MoonBlade bro now problem is 0 battery
everything was fine before unlockbootloader
but when i have locked the bootloder everything starts going wrong
now im really desperate.
this is a common problem for those who downgrade from latest sofware(2.3.4.) to 2.2

[4.4.4][ktu84p]STOCK Rooted with busybox for tilapia[6/19/14]

It is cooked from the Google stock image for tilpia and is NOT deodexed
This is the first time i am posting a ROM on XDA.
Been cooking ROM's for a while for my old Samsung devices.
The whole reason for this thread is to have a flashable zip for any Nexus 7(2012) 3g user who wishes to stay stock.
I have tested it on my Nexus 7, if anyone has any issues do let me and please bear with me as im not a developer and just sharing what i personally use.
Will try and help with what ever i can.​
************** For some Reason the boot logo does not show up, dont worry, wait for sometime, the ROM will boot up***********
Note:
1. Works with multirom.
2. Odexed for my personal use, if anyone wishes to de-odex it, do let me know.
3. This includes the stock kernel. I also tested the latest stable mkernel which is for 4.4.2 and works fine.(works with the new kitkat 4.4.4 too)

Installation:
1. Reboot to recovery
2. Do a factory reset.
3. Go to advanced wipe settings and select system, dalvik and cache and format them.
4. Flash Rom
First boot takes time, wait patiently. There wont be any boot animation, so wait on that black screen for sometime

Update your bootloader and radio first. And clean flash is recommended though there are not much of changes from 4.4.2 but as you mentioned you are using 4.4 clean wipe and installing is preferred.

Haven't tried that. Unfortunately i have a pure data plan, so my provider restricts sms by default. And i cant take out the sim and replace as i was once trying to break open my sim slot and take out the sim, during that crazy struggle i guess i broke that sim holder. so once the sim comes out, i have to struggle a lot to get the network back on by replacing it
Edit: dont think hangouts will give the sms sending option by any chance. So try with a third party app and let us know

Thanks for the stock rooted rom. FYI, I had flashed CF SuperSU v1.99r4 and also MKernel a67, looks okay so far. I'm updating the Google apps from Play store now. Once done, I'll be installing TB to restore my apps.
One word of caution to those flashing this rom. Note that there seems to be no bootanimation, so don't be mistaken that the rom is not working. Give it time to boot up. :good:

One thing I noticed strange is in TB, System ROM is showing 670MB (8.45 MB free). Before this, I was on 4.4.2 stock rooted, before I manually flashed boot.img and system.img. It was showing same results, but 9.XX MB free. Is this correct? I vaguely remembered that it should be almost 900 plus MB. Can anyone confirm?

To flash them you need to enable USB debugging and then reboot to bootloader. Here use the following fastboot commands.
For Updating bootloader:
fastboot flash bootloader name_of_the_bootloader_file.img
For radio:
fastboot flash radio name_of_the_radio_file.img
If you want a detailed instruction, go here and follow Method 2.

It is the same file as the one google pushes for Nexus 7 device. So what ever is present in the original stock image, will be there.
Menu button is only active in apps that give it by default, there is an xposed module which can activate menu button in every app.
For ART, not sure why google misses the option to switch to ART every time on Nexus 7 devices. Will check and see how to add that option.

It is dalvik. Google does not seem to want including ART for the nexus 7. Read somewhere on google forums that it might be a hardware issue cos of which they are not including it.

Correct - we lack sufficient space on the /system partition for the binaries required for switching to ART

Cant' flash this rom, i get an error and the message FAILED.
I'm using TWRP recovery 2.7.

Can we have a flashable zip please?
It is much easier to deal with!

N910S to N910C UAE MM official odin firmware.

I created this rom but need some bug fixes the warning shows on notification and little bit heating issue and when dial number there were noices in speaker like fm radio.

for little bit heating issue.you can delete /system/bin/debug_proxy....
maybe it will solve your problem.
file attach below will fix your call audio problem

Can you upload / share a separate bootloader and modem for this UAE firmware. Thanks!

Bro i have N910S korean note 4 you gave me wrong file and where this file will go? And the error shows at notification when i tried to call someone how this will be fixed one more thing wifi activation is little bit slow and it is forgetting my password every time it needs password to connect?

this isn't flashable file.simple.just copy it and replace n set permission
i'm using N910S too and i using SimplROM and patch fix with that file.and everything fine no problem happened.i get them from Stock ROM

I have n910k, still stock, how did you use simplerom on your n910s? I tried to flash through cwm but simplerom didnt boot.
Also what would happen if you flash 910C UAE firmware?

Phone work perfect like international model
all korean stuff removed
logo was changed
network mode multi csc
Just few bugs is there i need someone help that i think due to different kernal or bootloader or modem it gives an error that some thing went wrong and call sound is not clear noices there. I need a help of an expert developer that help me to fixed it

Guys figure it out where is the problem the phone is heating on normal use 0 apps running in background and the eroor is giving in notification when try to call someone the sound of call is not clear and this rom is not rooted .

for the security notice just freeze "Security Log Agent" using Titanium or any other app the freezes applications.

your imei number is it still there ?
if yes then you are using wrong modem.
you may need to flash primed kernel

no cant use odin, can only do it through TWRP, or any custom recovery. you don't need root to flash primed kernel.

What issues are related with kernal?

And is that posible that i extract system.img from the rom and change the kernel file ?

Restored my phone and it is not letting me set it back up?

I flashed Androplus and I have just restored my phone and now when ever I get to my phone set up it keeps telling me loads of apps have stopped and wont let me past a certain bit?

Now stuck on sony logo booting up
I am now stuck on the sony logo when loading up

Connect the phone to pc , and to Sony Companion.. click Repare ... will put the corect rom ... and wait for boot about 10-15 minutes.

I never unlock my bootloader, in teorie must work , try it

You will brick your phone faster and easy with Kernels , othere Rom made by some one, that with stock Sony and repare with Sony Companion

Confirmation
Until someone confirms it doesn't brick your phone I will use this method but thank you any way

only with a unlocked bl so you cant repair with pc companion so he need to flash ftf with flashtool, please dont give info what you dunno my friend.

This is a symptom you flashed the wrong version of the kernel for your phone/Android version or did not flash your caches.
Make super sure that you get the right kernel for your model and if you are still on Marshmallow use the latest (might be v5) kernel for that Android version.
Wipe your caches after flashing the kernel. An offer after every flash in TWRP. I skip this only in case of minor updates.
