In this guide I'll be showing you how to customize your homescreen to look at least a bit alike iOS 7. I know there are another guides or tuts with the same topic, and yes, I've also tried each of them, but I definitely haven't found one around this forum or even google that really fits. Please, do remember that I make this because I--myself--am a fan of iOS 7 UI and I thought it'll be cool if I (or any other people) can make it possible on my ACE 2. Now, let's get to the things you'll need.
REQUIREMENTS:
Android Phone running 4.0+ Operating System (ICS and above)
Yes, other devices (other than Ace II) can use this guide. Different changes might be needed.
THINGS YOU'LL NEED:
Nova Launcher Prime: http://bit.ly/1fYSxfh (you need to purchase, but you install it outside PS, V2.3 or the latest version is VERY RECOMMENDED)
Flat Icons OS 7: http://bit.ly/1evcmXL (if you don't like it, you can search on PlayStore and DeviantART, there are many others)
Dock Image: Download Here (on the attachment)
UCCW: http://bit.ly/1cTTGNA (if you want to use iOS 7 widget, you must install this)
ifont: http://bit.ly/1eRRZ5I
[OPTIONAL] ACE 2 CM11 KITKAT ONLY:
Check out the awesome iOS Style statusbar by MR.Volkf: MinimalKat Status Bar
STEP-BY-STEP:
Install everything needed!
Fonts? Open ifont and search for Helvetica S, download > install > reboot
1. Launch Nova Launcher Prime and set it as your primary launcher
Nova Settings > Select Default Home > Tap "Nova Launcher" > Always
2. Navigate to Nova Settings > Desktop and make these changes below
Desktop Grid = 5 x 4 (or you can set it to any number fits best)
Width & Height Margins = Small
Show Shadow = ✓
Scroll Effect = None
Wallpaper Scrolling = On
Infinite Scroll = ✓ (you can uncheck it if you want)
Label Icons = ✓
Resize All Widgets = ✓
Widget Overlap = ✓
3. Once you're done, go to Dock and make these changes below
Enable Dock = ✓
Dock Style = ON | For the background, use the Dock Image you downloaded and set the Fill Mode to Fill
Dock Icons = 4
Width Margin = Small
Dock Height = Large
Show Scroll Indicator = Uncheck
4. Now on to the Look & Feel, make these changes below
Color Theme = It's light blue at default, you can let it be as it is or you can change it to a darker color (if you have darker wallpaper)
Icon Theme = Choose Flat Icons OS7
Icon Size = 130% - If it's too big for you, set it with the size that fits best
5. (OPTIONAL) Make these changes below ONLY IF you have installed TeslaUnread
Unread Counts = ON
Position & Size = Top-Left | LARGE
Presets = Custom
Colors = White - Red (don't set it too bright) - White
Corner Radius = 8 (the highest one)
6. (OPTIONAL) If you want a nice iOS 7 Clock Widget, follow steps below
Long press anywhere on your Desktop/Homescreen until a pop-up window appear
Now, choose Widget > UCCW > choose any size (ex: 2x2)
Ios clock (it comes in one package with Flat Icons OS7)
Resize it so it'll look good on your homescreen
YOU'RE SET! :highfive: If you do it right or had no problem while doing it. This will be the result.
Exclude the status-bar.

Oh, and a little information. I was currently working on a project and hopefully a custom ROM, but since I'm a newbie, I guess I won't do a free-jump as if I knew much about customizing a ROM. So I'll start with the SystemUI, which is one of the common parts that (from my point of view) people usually mod/customize. You'll know it when it's done. - DONE! With the help of @MR.Volkf in this thread.
If you like this guide, hit the THANKS button!

for the original theme credits to JCKOTZE
On 26/5 I updated every theme with some settings adjustmens (the most noticeble is a little increase of the indented area and so a more WP7 proportioned icon grid) and added few wallpapers inside icons folder.
Since I've seen only fully black backgrounds in all WP7 UI (really boring) , I put a themed wallpaper as default background, but you can easily switch to another one of your choice or to a solid color.

INSTALLATION1 - Install a WM metro skin
2 - Install iPhoneToday
3 - Copy contents of attached "WP7 Theme" folder into iPhoneToday program folder - black, red and GTX theme here
4 - Restart Iphonetoday
NOTES- Added clean screen (last picture)
- to switch to a solid color background go to options->wallpaper-> delete the selected wallpaper name and leave the selection blank, then select a color from the bottom selector.
- Check out iPhoneToday thread for more commands to associate with icons (e.g. start menu, custom rotation angle, soft reset, open a specific email account... ecc.)
- If you install iPT as "today plugin", you can use nueNoBar to hide bottom bar , I quickly tested on WM6.5.5 and works, but can't say about battery draining, I prefer to have a metro bottom bar
- I suggest to use uTask to make this UI smarter
Please attach here your own icons sets
I add here a new version of icons.xml , works for all theme colors.
Now if iPhoneToday is srcolled, leads to clean screen (to appreciate your wallpapers) with only visible time, date, notifications.
In fact are icons, without images, and if pressed nothing happens, (to delete notification you have to scroll up and use a visible icon).
If you want to have this without overwrite your own icons.xml edit iPT settings and add icons as in last picture example.
Great job, very well !
Metro skins
These WM 6.5.x skins are based on Sir sternas work
More green theme
edited 2 icons, if someone doesn't like the red versions on green theme.
more skins
a standard WP7 skin by nickschot ,a blue dark based on jeffrey2000 ipad skin and a green dark from kenchan2009
new colors: black, red and GTX
for interested user here's a weather tile option.
I did not test and include into the theme cause it requires to install some apps and set it, try it.

Thanks a MILLI,OOO,OOON for this !! I love it soo Much!
I have a few questions i need your help with:
1. The scrolling is very FAST! How do I slow the scrolling down similar to the default wm scroll speed?
2. I cannot access the touch-input keyboard. Everytime I change it from the settings, it changes back to the swype keyboard. How can I fix this issue? (because I prefer using the touch-input)
3. Is it possible to make the icons smaller on the mainscreens?
Again, THANKS A LOT for this ,, I love it!

Hi,thanks for appreciation
1- I don't know the windows default scrolling values, on my hd2 iPhoneToday scrolls fast but very responsive and sensitive, maybe wait to see if you get used to it, or just play around with settings->movement values.
If you don't find a combination of your taste , I suggest you to reinstall iPhoneToday and take note of default movement values, then install the theme and manually restore default movement values.
2- I don't have swype, for this issue ask into the iPhoneToday or swype thread.
3- you can edit them into settings->screen->icon width, but after reducing their size you'll have to change also the settings->screen->Offsetts->R value (increasing the indented area) or settings->screen->Text Settings->text height (to increase the vertical spacing between icons) .. this in order to maintain a regular icon grid.
But then you'll get far from the WP7 proportion
I use RapidRead to read xda forums, so I made these icons
Strange Clocks is a set of Home Screen Widgets, each of which calculate and display the time in an unusual way. If you're a little bored with the conventional method for telling time - whether it be Analogue or Digital - then there may be a clock widget here for you. If not, please let me know, and I'll see what I can do about creating a new widget.
Widgets Included
1. Binary Clock - Displays the time in Binary, by converting H:M:S into "Binary" values. (3x3 Widget)
2. Decimal/Metric Clock - Displays the time using a Decimal clock - the day is split into 10 hours, which have 100 minutes. Each Centiminute has 100 seconds. (3x1 Widget)
3. Hexadecimal Clock - displays the time in Hex (base-16) format. (3x1 Widget)
4. Octal Clock - Displays the time in Octal (base-8) format. (3x1 Widget)
5. Percent Clock - Displays the percentage of the day passed. (3x1 Widget)
6. Reverse Percent Clock - Displays the percentage of the day left. (3x1 Widget)
7. Backwards Analogue - A standard Analogue clock, running in reverse/mirror image. (3x3 Widget)
8. Word Clock - Displays the time in words (3x3 Widget)
9. Angle Clock - Displays the time as an angle value in Radians - i.e. the angle each hand would be on a standard Analogue clock (3x3 Widget)
Notes
There is a Free and Donate version available. The Free version is fully functional, contains all the clocks, and the Blue/White LCD combination. The Donate version allows you to choose from four LCD background colours and Three LCD Text colours, and has no ads on the information/preferences page (Ads in the Free version DO NOT appear in the widgets).
NOTE: By default, the widgets will run in "Seconds Mode", meaning they update every second. They can also run in "Minute Mode". To do so, open the Strange Clocks app from the Application Drawer, and click the Preferences button, then un-tick the "Update Seconds" option.
Widget Width: All of the widgets a have a width of 3. Many 'phone homescreens use 4 columns, but also allow you to resize a widget. Resizing any Strange Clock widget to use 4 columns will centre the clock on the screen - the widget itself will remain the same size.
EXPLANATION FOR PERMISSIONS USED:
Network communication - (FREE version only) used solely for retrieving the Ads on the Information page
Phone calls - to detect when the 'phone is being used for a call, so that clock can pause.
System tools - Two things. i) to detect when an application is running, and pause the clock if one is running. ii) To detect if the 'phone is on the Home Screen - clock only runs when the Home Screen is active.
Feedback and Suggestions
I welcome any feedback and suggestions. If you find any bugs, or have any ideas, please feel free to post a reply.

When changes are made via the dev console in the Play Store, it can take a while for the changes to cascade down through Google's servers. Try again in an hour or so - it'll be available eventually

Hi guys, Its been long a while I became a Recognized Themer...Now its time to share my little knowledge with all guys here so that you can also begin something...
What is required:
1. A good pair of eyes which can guess good colour styles.
2. A brain[Most important]
3. Photoshop or GIMP [This is the most important...PS is more advanced and good to use for any level but for beginning you can use GIMP...I used that only in beginning]
4. Bases and PS goodies to start with...Get them here [First get 592 icon bases so that You can go ahead...Then get all the videos there in case you need reference]
BASICS
» So what are icons???
» Attractive images you see on your phone for various apps....
So, They can be made in graphic manipulation softwares like PS, GIMP etc...Offcourse it depends on your needs because PS costs you while GIMP is free to use whatever time you want...
FROM WHERE I SHOULD BEGIN?
» The answer is study the videos given by me well...They can solely guide you till your destination...Then this thread is for discussing your ideas and we can wor it out greatly...
WHAT ARE SIZES PREFERRED?
» You know there resolutions like LDPI, MDPI, HDPI etc...So there sizes of icons are:
XHDPI - 96x96/144x144
HDPI - 128x128
MDPI - 48x48
LDPI - 36x36
You can use HDPI+ resoultion icons on lower ones BUT cant do vice versa because It causes excessive stretching and they look bad...
Getting started with PS
Here is main panel guide for Photoshop [Mine is CS6 version but its almost same in every PS version]

RED - Tools panel: It contains all shape, paint, gradient, select and erase tools...
BLUE - Sub options of the selected tool i.e. if you select TEXT tool then it will show font and size etc...
VIOLET - Main canvas where you will be doing your works...
BROWN - Styles lay here which you will give to your Backgrounds and icons...
PINK - The layers panel where you can manage layers...
REAL ICON MAKING STARTS HERE
Ok guys once you have done getting PS and other goodies,
Open up PS.
Click on File>> New and set size as 512x512 [A standard size which is always used by me for making a good resolution...This enhances effects we give and obviously when we tone down size it looks more beautiful]
So once done with this set Background to transparent...It will make the excessive space transparent to suit our desktop...
You can add any SHAPE and SIZES...Here for demo I am showing this -
1. Selecting shape :
Here I chose circle...So right click on shapes and you will get options to select your desired shape
So chose Ellipse tool here.
2. Adding Just border to circle:
So after adding ellipse make its size 490x490.
Above you can see stroke and fill options...Set no fill and select proper width of stroke/border...
3. Then you can give it any favourite effect...Here I'm giving TRON effect
4. Adding a Background to circle:
Press Control+Shift+N to create a new layer. Add again a ellipse little smaller than previous i.e. 485x485...
Fill it with matching colour. Then you have something like this -
5. Now take a close look at layers panel at right-bottom corner...There you have two layers...
Drag the topmost layer to bottom...So we will have a BG and a border up on that layer which will look tempting.
6. Now save the Style in form of PSD [Photoshop Document].
It can be opened again at any time and re-modded by you or anyone who wants...:good:
7. Now minimize PS and open the folder where you have put the base PSD from my link.
Drag one from them onto your ready background in PS. Then you can manage their shape as they open in edit mode. You can resize them and align them to centre by Pressing Select option on topbar...Then select all and select first tool on left side...You can adjust the way you want.then add them effects from right panel..
8. Resizing the done icon to desired size:
Go to Image on top bar and select image size option...select size 144x144 a very standard resolution which works on every screen resolution...
Then go to file>> save as>> save it with your name and don't forget to change the format to ".png"
9. Done now...You are really done
It takes so much time to arrange the stuff and type so much so if you find atleast helpful then let me know and please post your doubts, works and everything here...will update more day by day to give you everything I have...
Press THANKS to show your appreciation as it encourages me to work more...

Guys as I promised my tutorial for getting the COMPLETE Android L UI including animations and Easter egg is finally here. Before I begin I want you to ensure you are running CM 11 and have a working installation of XPOSED Framework(a no brainer, the name of the thread sums it up...)
Before we begin we will need the following :
# Monster UI Xposed module by @KuaQ
# L - Call Free Xposed module by Droidmate team
# Android L theme by Nucleoid (paid)
P.S. If you're okay with a material coloured settings app, then ditch this theme. Deepak Kaku's Android L Lite Theme
#Material Lollipop theme by @polishchocolate
#Nova Launcher by TeslaCoil
#Lollipop 123 Keyboard by @Shaftamle
#Eggster xposed module by @iamareebjamal
#L Lockscreen by @xsmile711 from[URL = http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=3057591&d=1418237604 ]here[/URL]
So let's begin
Step 1 - Install all the apps listed above and enable the ones marked 'XPOSED Module' in the Xposed Installer app. Reboot.
Step 2 - Apply the Android L Lite theme in the theme chooser. Uncheck the icons and before applying.
Step 3 - Now apply Material Lollipop theme's icons.
Step 4 - Open Nova Launcher settings , goto Look and Feel option, then change scrolling and animation speed to stock. Also apply the system icon set using icon theme option in same menu since we've already themed it with polishchocolate's theme.
Step 5 - Now the real deal. Open MonsterUI. In the main menu, You'll find primary and secondary color option. Change them according to below attached screenshots. Then go to Framework>Dialogs>Buttons Color - Select 'All Buttons'. In the Framework menu, also change List separator to 'Material Styled (New)'.
Step 6 - Go to SystemUI menu of MonsterUI, then tick 'L Recent Panel'.
There is also one more option to change, Notification Color, but I forgot whether it is in SystemUI or Framework. Wherever it is change it to 'White theme' and let me know below where it is so I can update this step.
Step 7 - Open L-Call Free and in its Color option, select whatever you want. It lags a bit (about 2-3 seconds but if you convert it to system app using its option, delay is reduced.)
Step 8 - Open Eggster then enable the slider in front of Android L.
Step 9 - Open Lollipop 123 Keyboard and follow the instructions to make it your default keyboard.
Step 10 - Setup L lockscreen.
Step 11 - Enable development settings and go to Performance in settings and enable Force High End Graphics and reboot.
That's it. If you manage to follow all the steps correctly, you should see the Android L boot animation during startup. I haven't quite managed to get the Lock screen right now but I'm searching and help is appreciated.

What I was saying for the theme -
Known Issues for the Pico
* All these tweaks will take up your boot time to up to 3 minutes.
* L Call pop-up comes a few seconds after the normal dialer , which then closes.
* Lock screen is a bit laggy.
I have tried my best to keep things free and simple but if you get stuck, well you got the whole damn thread to ask questions and thanks to Tapatalk I can answer your questions from practically anywhere. As for the theme, I'll just keep looking for a free one that gives the same settings colour as the Nucleoid theme.
Hope you enjoyed it. If you did, just smash that thanks button!!!

Let me start by saying that this guide will work best with a Nexus 5X/6P because they're the only ones that can use the Google Pixel Launcher, however you can still (probably) use every other feature and it will still look somewhat similar to a Pixel.
If you're like me and you don't want to go through the hassle of rooting because many things can go wrong and some things usually go wrong it's just not worth it. This doesn't mean you shouldn't root but for most people this guide should be enough. Also I would suggest you to buy these apps and support the developers because they're all very cheap and definitely worth the money.
I'm using a Nexus 5X with Android 7.1.1 (NPF10C)
Here we go:
1) Google Pixel Launcher
First you'll need to download the new Google Pixel Launcher from here. Make sure to scroll down and check if a new version is available.
Install the app and tap the home button then tap Pixel Launcher, make sure that you tap "Always", this will make Pixel Launcher your default home app.
2) Wallpapers
You may have noticed that you can't actually change your wallpaper until you install this.
So, download this or dowload the official wallpapers app from Google, it's on the Play Store but if your device isn't compatible with it you can use the previous link. (They're the same files)
3) Live Wallpapers
Go to this page, scroll down and just install the APK.
Go to your home screen > long press anywhere > go to wallpapers > scroll all the way down and you should see "Live wallpapers" and that's it.
4) Icons
I should warn you that if you do this you will lose the long press menu, so if that's something you use all the time just skip this step!
If you want to do this first take screenshots of your home screen!
You'll need to completely clear your home screen so that it looks like this:
4.a) Download the Awesome Icons app from the Play Store.
4.b) Purchase the Pixel IP app (it will work with Awesome Icons)
4.c) Download the Pixel Icon Pack app
4.d) Open up Awesome Icons > swipe left > tap Icon Packs > make sure that you see Pixel IP and Pixel Icon Pack
4.e) You'll notice that there are 2 styles of round icons:
But why do we have 2 styles of icons? That's because Pixel IP seems to have a lot more icons which is why you only see 1 icon next to some apps.
Pixel IP seems to just reduce the size of the image and just put a circle around it, it doesn't look the best but it's still better than nothing. Fell free to use any other icon pack.
4.f) To create a shortcut of an app press on the image (use Pixel IP or Pixel Icon pack) and tap OK. This will create a shortcut of that app on your home screen so just go through every app and select the ones you want.
4.g) Once you're done go to your home screen, it should look like this:
Now sort your icons and that's it!
Also check your wallapers, Pixel IP adds more Google Pixel wallpapers!
5) Navigation Bar
5.a) Install Navbar Apps and buy the pro version.
5.b) Go to this Drive folder and download all 3 images for your device.
5.c) Go back to Navbar Apps tap on "Show image under Nav Bar" and go to settings.
5.d) Tap the 3 dots in the upper right hand corner and choose "Import images without cropping".
5.e) Choose the relevant files and press import.
5.f) The Pixel Nav Bar should be the last one, just tap on it.
Make sure that the option "Hide image when navigation bar is transparent" is disabled, the option is in Custom Images!
Last thing, in the main view tap the 3 dots and go to settings, then go to color change animation and choose the one you like, I think None looks the best.
This is what Navbar Apps should look like:
6) Camera App
Go to this page and just download and install the APK.
7) Phone App
Go to this page, scroll down and download and install the APK.
However this setup is still not perfect:
-The Nav Bar sometimes doesn't work in Chrome
-The Nav Bar is completely static (it isn't animated like the original)
And that's it!
If you have any questions ask me or the developers of these apps.
