Is there anyway to renew the 2 year 50 GB promo that they had when you buy a Samsung Galaxy S3? I know that some ROMs include this promotion but if I already have it with my main account will I be able to renew this promotion? Or can I start it on a new email address?
Thanks for any help.

Hi,
There is a promo today on Amazon.com offering new TMO accounts any phone for 1 cent. If I sign up and cancel the service is the fee only going to be the $200 ETF? or are there other hidden fees associated with the discounted phone.
If anyone knows the answer please help... Im assuming there are because everyone would do it, but I cant find a definite answer.
Thanks
hey guys,
so father's day is coming, and we've screen the ad that says free phones with a new contract. If the HTC one S is included, I am planning to sign up for a new contract just for the phone, and then ETF.
From what I've read in other threads, I would sign up for a classic us t-mobile plan, get the phone, wait 1-2 months for the mail-in rebate to come in while I have to pay for service during those 2 months, and pay the $200 ETF as soon as I get the mail-in rebate.
Can someone confirm if this is true?
also, I am already in a T-mobile family plan. However, i am NOT the account holder. I am just one of the lines in the family plan. Will signing up and ETF'ing a brand new contract using my name in any way affect my current family plan?
Thank you very much

I can't answer all your questions, but I am part of a family plan. I am the account holder. Each person in the plan has their own upgrade date. You have to qualify for the upgrade so if you're already on there and they know your name, you may not qualify if you're not up for an upgrade. But I don't know how that works if you're getting your own plan.
I don't think it be a good idea, in order to get the rebate back they want you to get the 5gb internet at 35 bucks, plus you still have to pay the rate plan. 75 to 85 plus taxes depending on the rate plan. Rebate takes up to 10 weeks to come back so multiply that amount by atleast 3 months plus 35 activation fee. 250 for the HTC one s. Your getting close to the 500 dollars mark. Sure you got 250 back but was it really free? Not to mention whatever fee your getting charge in your family plan.

hey everyone,
So i just got into a grad program at UCLA and they gave me a new .edu email address. I am switching carriers soon and I did a little research to see what I could get as a student. It seems like T-Mobile is offering a 10% student discount + waived activation fees + some decent deals on devices (found out through the student organization at school) Verizon is giving 10% as well, and Sprint is impossible to figure out.
As of right now I am going with T-Mobile. To get that discount I found, you have to call customer service @ 1 866 464 8662 and use the promo code 13997 TMOFAV. Any better deal for students out there?
Flyer with all the info on the Tmo deal is included.
The promo code you have should work for the discount and the waived fees. I don't think it has anything to do with having a .edu email because T-Mobile doesn't have a stduent discount per say.

does this discount work on a family plan? We're looking to upgrade to GS4 and get 3 phones.
Works for a family plan
Yes, apparently if you get the discount and you're on a family plan then the 10% applies to the whole account not just one line. Does anyone know if this discount can stack on top of other discounts?
This discount doesn't add to other discounts
This discount is 10% off your entire account but if you're already getting a discount it doesn't add an additional 10% off. Great deal if you don't get an employee discount or a discount some other way..

I'm very interested in this deal...might wait for the new iphone but we'll see. Thanks!
Does Tmobile still offer that no contract plan? That would work well on top of the waived activation fee.
Sprint is offering a free Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 if you join the framily plan. You have to sign up for a $15 a month 2gb data plan for 3 months and you can downgrade to $5 a month 1gb data plan and sign up for a 2 year agreement. That works out to be about $150 in total cost, about the going price right now and if you buy a new tablet you can always transfer data service. Personally I think this is a reasonable deal.
Here is the link: http://goo.gl/cvjmCr
And here is my framily ID : A00061930PR (case sensitive)
You also have to sign up in store! My local sprint store honored the promotion even though I signed-up for the framily plan on the phone. Not sure if this is possible in all areas because the add specifically states "when you visit a sprint store."
Sorry but referral posts for the Sprint Framily plan are against xda rules.
So i have upgraded with Sprint for years with the galaxy forever plan. You pay activation send old phone in after you receive new phone and part of payment. So what is this you have to pay 699 and make a monthly payment 2?
