It doesn't have "%" to calculate things... why is that :/ also recommend some calculator app which is as good as the official and has % too.
Thanks!

There are 2 of them in playstore. Which one exactly?
Edit: Nevermind, both of their interface sucks. I prefer the stock calculator's interface. So clean. Is there an app like the stock one just with % ?

You may not necessarily like how it looks but that does not mean the interface sucks

The interface is designed to be like a real calculator. To perform proper calculations
just curious as why you need a % sign? why can't you use decimals? 25% = 0.25 etc...

It was a standard feature in most custom ROMs - not in stock though. Not sure if there are any mods to get that feature (except for replacements like widget locker).

I was wondering if any roms have ported pie over to kit kat yet. Plenty of roms have ported over halo so I was wondering why pie hasn't been ported over yet.
Immersive mode could be why it's not been ported yet

Unfortunately I can't stand CM/gravity box pie. It looks cheap in my opinion. I prefer the visual wonderfulness of PA pie
EDIT: xda derped and posted twice
It looks the same, having used both. Plus you can change how it looks. But yeah, pa coming soon so whatever

Ah right, but if i remember correct PA offers less customisation for PIE controls? I've set my LMT to have "screen-off" and "previous app" buttons on longpress, and adjusted the long-press time to make it faster - i find that really useful, could you do the same with PA? Its been a long while since i've tried that rom, it might've changed since then?

Well, PA haven't brought PIE to KitKat yet, so you wont find any PA based PIE controls here until that happens. Keep watching the Dev forums / G+
Does anyone remember cm6 / cm7 render effects color modes?
I'm particularly interested in recreating the red render color mode for reading at night.
I've searched high and low but so far no good results.
Please chime in if you remember the feature I'm talking about.

I sure do. It was cool. Like black ops.
There is Lux, but it's just not the same.
Maybe someone could create an Xposed module.

Another suggestion was "twilight" which I've tried but is really not the same.
I think some people have not seen how good the render effect is compared to apps that use a filter.
Anyone know anything about this?
Answering my own question, CF.Lumen is the exact functionality I was looking for.

What is the best way to apply wallpapers? Every one I apply stretches it weird.
I use gallery and it's fine for me. What resolution image are you applying?

It does because it only shows part of the wallpaper like I can scroll to the right or left. But since I can't since I only have 1 home screen.

I cannot reproduce this. Every wallpaper I set on a single homescreens configuration applies perfectly on the Google launcher.
However, with one screen you will only get the centre of the wallpaper.
Edit... or is that the point i'm missing? Do you want the entire width of the wallpaper to fit your 1 homescreen? If so what resolution is the wallpaper?

Your wallpaper needs to be the correct size. It has to be 2160x1920, assuming you are using the stock launcher. The single home screen will show the leftmost 1440 pixels of the wallpaper.

+1 for 8sms simple, basic, works.
+1 more for 8sms. It's a port of the AOSP SMS app, but with a lot of extra features. Plus it comes with a dark skin, so the people using the inverted AOSP app should also give it a try. As a bonus, the dev is also extremely responsive to feature requests.

Quick reply via the notification bar is probably the single best feature, in fact I'd say it's the single feature that sold me on it the most. Plus since it's heavily based on the AOSP SMS app, it feels a lot more Android-y than others like Ninja or Textra (which is far too iOS-y for me) do.
NinjaSMS I like the HALO style pop-ups
