I was wondering if any roms have ported pie over to kit kat yet. Plenty of roms have ported over halo so I was wondering why pie hasn't been ported over yet.
Immersive mode could be why it's not been ported yet

I don't know about rims for sure, but gravity box has this option for xposed. Does it not work?

Unfortunately I can't stand CM/gravity box pie. It looks cheap in my opinion. I prefer the visual wonderfulness of PA pie
EDIT: xda derped and posted twice
It looks the same, having used both. Plus you can change how it looks. But yeah, pa coming soon so whatever

Ah right, but if i remember correct PA offers less customisation for PIE controls? I've set my LMT to have "screen-off" and "previous app" buttons on longpress, and adjusted the long-press time to make it faster - i find that really useful, could you do the same with PA? Its been a long while since i've tried that rom, it might've changed since then?

The appearance, they are worlds different
Well, PA haven't brought PIE to KitKat yet, so you wont find any PA based PIE controls here until that happens. Keep watching the Dev forums / G+

An xposed module or something that makes all notifications always expand... Like in root box the feature that let's you control notification behaviour...

+1 to that. Still Nothing?
Yes please! The Liquid Smooth ROM has this setting and I'd love to be able to have this in CM.
+1
My dream is having expanded notifications by default on stock Samsung ROMs just like I had when using Carbon on Note II.
Note 3 is great and almost everthing from AOSP I got using xposed modules, except from this feature. I hate always having to expand manually all notifications!
Obviously @CallumMarks77 has already seen this, but for the benefit of the others in this thread, just wanted to let you know that I developed an Xposed module that does this - check it out here!

It was a standard feature in most custom ROMs - not in stock though. Not sure if there are any mods to get that feature (except for replacements like widget locker).

Any ROMs with Pie cooked in? Really surprised not to see this yet. GB is just too glitchy to make it a viable option. Thanks
Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
I don't think so. I like that feature but I can understand it not being at the top of any dev's to-do list. I would keep an eye on Paranoid Android and SlimKat.

GravityBox glitchy? That's news to me. I use it on all three of my Android devices (N5, N7, Moto X) and haven't had a single issue on any of them. The expanded desktop + PIE control works great.

Can you elaborate on that? I haven't had any glitches with GB at all.
For me, every reboot causes the nav bar to reappear and then pie doesn't work. There was something else too but it has been a month since I used it last. And of course you can't use ART with Xposed

Yeah, that's mainly what's keeping me from using Xposed. Now that I've used ART for a while I just can't go back to Dalvik.

That's weird, I don't have that issue. Were you using expanded desktop or just setting your navbar height to zero? I have expanded desktop with PIE tied to a quicksettings toggle and it always goes back into whatever state I had it in after a reboot. Then again, it'll stay after a reboot if I shrink it to zero as well. What version of GravityBox are/were you on?
Try lmt launcher. It has a fully customizable pie.

Does anyone have an app that has .gif support via text?
+1 for 8sms simple, basic, works.
+1 more for 8sms. It's a port of the AOSP SMS app, but with a lot of extra features. Plus it comes with a dark skin, so the people using the inverted AOSP app should also give it a try. As a bonus, the dev is also extremely responsive to feature requests.

Quick reply via the notification bar is probably the single best feature, in fact I'd say it's the single feature that sold me on it the most. Plus since it's heavily based on the AOSP SMS app, it feels a lot more Android-y than others like Ninja or Textra (which is far too iOS-y for me) do.
NinjaSMS I like the HALO style pop-ups

It doesn't have "%" to calculate things... why is that :/ also recommend some calculator app which is as good as the official and has % too.
Thanks!

You may not necessarily like how it looks but that does not mean the interface sucks

just curious as why you need a % sign? why can't you use decimals? 25% = 0.25 etc...
