Since one week I am not able to play Google Play Music anymore through Android Auto. It says service isn't available at the moment. All other functions work. Has anybody the same issue? I have a 2017 Jetta and a Galaxy S8+ with latest T-Mobile updates.
Thanks
This is a related issue.
Here is a link http://www.androidpolice.com/2017/06/12/not-just-google-play-music-isnt-behaving-android-auto/
Mine was doing this last week too, started playing music on my phone before connecting it to the car and it has been fine since.
Not sure what is causing it though, it doesnt look like either of those apps updated recently to make it happen
Somestimes , the music can not be installed from Google ,but already indicate that can be downloaded
Guys,
My phone started to behave abnormally after updating to may 10th google play services. I constantly lose wifi and my phone gets frozen. I gotta retart it in every hour.
Also whenever i send a location it says "google services are updating" i uninstalled services and it updated itself then problems started again.
When the phone get frozen the heat increases like crazy and the battery depletes itself enermously if i dont restart it.
When i lose wifi i cannot see any other wifi networks in the settings. I lose them all and it appears as if there are no wifi networks.
I also wonder if this could be a battery issue? I will reset to factory settings tonight if noone has an answer to this.
Thanks. I am on aura 2.2 rom the latest version
I am also having an issue with google play services. I am using sport tracking apps and they all show google play services updating.
Do you also get random crashes and freezes? I checked many forums, it is very common among huawei users right now. It has affected many phones and you can find many complaints about it. But google provided no support right now.
I also read that factory resetting is not solving the issue. So i am not gonna waste time on that and wait for a new update.
But i can tell for the first time i regret using a huawei phone. Deeply loving it made me cover its faulty updates but i got tired of restarting the phone hourly
I had the exact same issues you described. Google Street View, Uber, and other apps would display 'google services are updating' and not work at all.
Fixed it by leaving the Google Play Services beta testing channel. I'm now running version 12.6.73 (040400) and all's back to normal.
On the other hand my P20 is still on the beta channel 12.6.73 (040408) and no issues.
There's an ongoing thread about an issue which seems what you're talking and is specific to Huawei phones. My problem related to this, is that I can't logon on Chrome... More details in the link below

Hi, on my Mate 9 in my Car with Android Auto, the Google Assistent dont run, and says everytime when i activate it: "There is no stable Internet Connection"
I hope google or Huawai will it correct it
Hello,
Same problems with my Mate 9 MHA-L09
It was said that this bug is reported by many people in Google issue tracker. Lots of Google Maps apps such as Uber and Taxify don't work well. It looks like wide range of Huawei devices is severely impacted by latest Play Services update to version 12.6.73. A good news is Google is working on it.
Two temporary solution for an end-user to try:
1. Clear cache & data of Google Play services
2. Go to Setting - App - Google Play Services, disable it to go back factory version.
Restart the phone and go to Google Play Store to do the update on Google Play Services.
Wonder if this is the same "bug" I've been having trouble with. Sometimes, & I can't nail down how it happens, if I wake up the phone, and it could have been screen off for 5 minutes, all night, 20-30 minutes...no pattern, that after waking it up, tap on anything and it might be 10-20 seconds before it does anything. EVERY app is like that. I thought it might have been with Nova launcher, but that doesn't seem to be it, rebooting the phone appears to "fix it". Just dumped cache on play, stopped, uninstalled, rebooted (play store isn't showing any updates, still at 11.xx). I'll just watch it and see how it act.
By me its help Temporary, Everythings run until the next restart of my phone and my smartwatch must reset to
So far, almost 24 hours later, dumping the storage, stopping, "uninstalling" the play services, and going back to the stock one (11.xx) seems to have cured my "lag". Everything is snappy again.
Can someone confirm that with this issue ongoing you can open events in the Calendar app? If possible from an Exchange account...
Currently I open Calendar, select an event, it opens and immediately closes. So Calendar now is also unusable for me What's going on?
Thanks!

Yes it has been fixed (sic!) with version 12.6.85 from version 12.6.73. The big errors have been fixed on software such as Uber and Map programmes. Still awaiting to see if the hardware problems are sorted, (my phone would be hot to the touch to the extent that glue on the phone cover would soften and become pliable).
To summarise.... So far so good.
I can confirm, I have upgraded to 12.6.85 earlier today and so far so good.
Clear now
So far, almost a week into the update, no issues on my end with the phone lagging.
So I had a couple of Moto X Plays laying around which I wanted to repurpose as "Google Home" and security camera. So I take the necessary steps to install and update Google. Trying out Assistant gives me the: "Google recognized your voice, all set" -sequence and shuts of the toggle for voice match again. Weird! So I keep trying solutions upon solutions and I even revert back to stock rom 7.1.1 and to my surprise it start working again, that is, until I update my Google app again. Now somewhere Google seems to have decided not to support older ROMs anymore. Because guess what: that same version still works fine on my daily driver Samsung Galaxy S9 stock ROM. I am wondering: Is Google deliberately making newer versions of the Google App have Voice Match fail on these older roms (7.1.1 stock and 7.1.2) or am I just being an idiot?
That said I'm gonna try and find out which version of Google App I can get my older ROM to have voice match again.
H,
A friend is facing a problem with her Vivo S1. She recently updated her phone, which now shows as having Funtouch OS 9.2. The problem is, after the update, whenever she tries to play a video in full screen in ether of the three apps, netflix, prime video or hotstar, it just shows a black screen but the audio can be heard. The apps were working fully before the update. After looking around on the internet, i came across a few possible reasons, one being an issue with the full screen settings of apps, but when she goes to the full screen settings, there are no apps to modify. Another issue could be DRM if some other apps are allowed to draw over then these apps might not work, is that possible, if so, can anyone please give a solution for this particular OS, because i could not find that anywhere.
Did you get a solution please let know I am also getting same issue
Hello,
I have an issue with the phone while using Google Family.
If the phone of my son is locked he is not able to make any emergency call. Before having Android 10 it worked if I was using the Google Phone App.
After Android 10 the playstore only says that Google Phone is not compatible with my phone.
Unfortunately Google Family and the possibility to make emergency calls only works with the google phone app. The built in phone app does not work with google family as it is also blocked completely.
Does anybody have an idea what to do, why is it incompatible with the latest Android???
many thanks for your help
