OK, so I have WM6.1 on my Polaris. Thinking of flashing Android on it, I got Gen.Y Dual Boot, so that I don't lose the stability and some of the functionality of my WM.
I've seen many threads about how to flash Android on the phone. My question is: how do I flash Android WITHOUT losing any of my WM data that's already in the phone.
I've got a 4GB microSD storage card, so I'm guessing storage is not an issue.

Oh. I thought haret was designed only to run from Windows, and not with dual boot. Thank you. =)
Hello fellas,
My girlfriend have a Xperia E Dual on stock JB and everything is slow, laggy and freeze sometimes. I tried disabling some apps, removing them from RAM, managing start up applications and nothing seems to be very effective.
I have a Galaxy Tab 2 and also had some lag on stock ROM and thanks to the xda community which offers plenty of ROM's for this device, I'm running a perfectly stable version of CM of Android 4.2.2 and have no lags since. Then, I came to the Xperia E forums to find a ROM to give a better performance to the phone. But for my surprise there's not an official version of CM and neither much stable options for this phone, and also I'm kinda lost in this forums due to amount of phones in the same sub forum.
My first question is, which is the most stable and will give me a better performance for the Xperia E Dual?
How is the easiest and complete method for installing? In my tablet I had to root it, install CWM from Play Store, put the .zips in the SD card and flash through CWM. But I have seen that for this phone the process is quite harder, something related with Fastboot and some cmd commands
Can someone provide me some links and fool-proof information to flash a new ROM?
Thanks in advance and greetings from Brazil!
First, Consider Rooting your phone through here http://unlockroot.com
After that unlock your bootloader here http://unlockbootloader.sonymobile.com
When doing the rooting I'm sure you already know that Enabling USB debugging and Unknown Sources is a must
Then install CWM and install CM, And of course CM 10 is unofficial build but still works fine and there is a slight error about the Signal carrier labeling "Unknown"
Please hit thanks if i helped
For the past few Months my Xperia Z3 dual is acting weird . The problems that i am facing till today are
P1. The phone gets extremely hot ?
A1. Before you comment any thing I know the snapdragon 801 does get pretty warm after heavy use but not as warm as i begins to do simple task like even just reading an article on 25% brightness . I tried different kernels reduced clock speeds but none of them did any work.
P2. random reboots and crashes
A2. This is confusing for me the phone reboots it self . It fist hangs and then power off to the sony logo than it gets stuck at the boot animation and the process starts again . It does limit on Custom Aosp roms but not much .
if any of the people around here could point me the directions for these problems or just tell me its a hardware issue not a software or vice versa . I would be happy and will thank you its being over 1.5 years since i have this device i loved it for its specs and rear camera but the annoying things it just keeps repeating and repeating I hate it.
Thank you
P.s : My Phone is An Xperia Z3 Dual (D6633) running on stock android 6.0.1
Just give any thoughts on this thread i will thank every one you will participate in this thread there is no nougat for my xperia and even if it hangs at marshamllow i dont know. Please help

I think then it's a hardware related issue. Take it to a Sony service center, probably they can solve the rest!
Hi, I'm having issues with my Xperia E3 running slow, especially when typing and scrolling. Im rooted with no custom roms, up to date firmware. I've factory reset my phone several times and while it does running better, i'll add a few apps and link most things to SD but not move them to SD. Over the course of the week it'll start running slow again. I'll clear cache and other unnecessary things that may slow it down but nothing seems to work. Is there any way to speed it up whether it be using a custom rom or some other trickery. Thanks.
Update your kernel to one with ZRAM support, so you will use better your 1gb of RAM.
Try vinay's kernel.
I have a rooted Wondermedia WM8880 tablet, 512mb ram, 4gb storage, android 4.2.2
It seems a bit laggy
I was wondering if i install another OS on it so it may run faster a linux based or something like that.
Just one more thing if i install a OS and fails then if i hard reset my device will i get my android device back
Looking for quick response

Well if it fails installing another rom I don't know if your stock rom would remain intact, so a hard reset would not help you. Flashing stock rom would, but its not always guaranteed.

A device with that hardware is going to be laggy no matter what you do.
Also, android isn't like PC, you can't just install whatever OS you want.
It is "possible" to install linux on android devices, but thr method to do so is different depending on the device.
