Hi for all
I want to be an developer
I know things about the programming , SDK , Eclipse , and the Packages
Can I learn?
thank you
Of course! Best advice is to look through these threads, read everything in xda university (both forums and website) and start small, search for answers but don't be afraid to ask questions when your stuck.
Best of luck

Exactly this ^^^
No one can prevent you from learning, but we can point you in the right direction and the XDA-University is probably the best place to start.
Good luck and have fun!:highfive:

Hey all, I wanted to start Android app development as a hobby. I am very comfortable with C++, but I know that Java is necessary for Android. What parts of it will be important, and could you please recommend a good tutorial? Thanks.

I have been trying to get into making live wallpapers myself. I have been asking everywhere about what I need to learn to make a live wallpaper. I have no idea where to start or what to learn. I have posted several threads and ask devs in the market to & no one wants to tell you anything about where to start or what to use. I really don't understand why no one wants to help, especially here on a Developers website. Hopefully we can get a Senior member to give us some good tips.
Hello everybody,
I wish to get more involved in the XDA development community and was wondering if there was anything I can read to get myself jumpstarted on developing ROMs. I have a pretty good knowledge of tech and am a fast learner of tech. If you guys can can you point me in the right direction.
Thanks much

With every new device I see this question. There are plenty of getting started tutorials and guides out there already. Use Google and you will find just about anything and everything you need. It all depends on what you are looking to learn.

I have no idea on how to do either so I need some help on these two subjects so I can start my first real project.
Ok this may sound kind of unusual, but I once heard that if you buy a book, read it and apply what it teaches, you learn!!

This is XDA, not school. We read and learn ourselves. If you have specific questions along the way, ask if you already searched and can't find the answer.
Good luck!

I find no help to the ones who are really want it and everyone answers to simple questions like which should be my next phone?

That's because the questions of recommending phones or kernels or even ROMs are not allowed in xda. Sorry Mate!
Better luck next time!

What Arnau said plus many times people don't want to look stupid on forums with as much brainpower and expertise as on the XDA forum. Some of the most brilliant people hang out here and obviously if you don't know what you're talking about, to try and bluff your way through may work on some forums, but not here.
As you visit more often, look for some of the gurus, follow their threads, Thank Them and if they help you, contribute. That might really help you get the answers you need. Good luck.
XDA is not a support site, it is a site for and about developers and development, soooo, I suggest, if you are in fact looking for support, use search here, or go elsewhere.
Meanwhile, development still occurs here at XDA.

Well we are here to help you navigate through xda. A quick Google search finds plenty to choose from but I would assume you have done this. Is there something specific you are looking for? Or what are you trying to accomplish?

I've done that. Like I use code blocks now for c and c++. I guess I'm locking for something with a lot of options

Fair enough, I would suggest asking in developer tools forum or peek around there for some recommendations
http://forum.xda-developers.com/tools
Otherwise you may find some help in the general q&a forum as there are always plenty of people lurking here to help

Best of luck!
