Anyone having trouble wireless charging on N4?
when I place my N4 on lumia 920 Qi Wireless charging Plate or Maxwell Qi Wireless plate, it will displaying charging then not charging.
I thought I can use any Qi Wireless charger to charge my N4 but doesnt seem so on my case.
Any Suggestion?
No problem on my lg charger. Check to see if NFC is on, on your phone.

People have reported this as well with the lumia wireless charger..
Sent from my Nexus 4 themed with Goog Le Bean
Also keep in mind once the battery reaches 100%, the pad will stop charging until the phone reaches a certain point. Where the LG and I think the Engergizer/Maxell ones re-start charging when phone reaches 95%.
Also with the Lumia charger, there have been reports that this pad needs a power cycle then it will work. Meaning it's like putting a pencil in an old school carburetor to get it to start. I personally have the LG and Energizer pads and both work.

I have both the LG charger and the Lumia charger. The LG one works perfectly, but the Lumia one just charges on and off repeatedly. No matter the position, I couldn't get the Lumia charger to work with the N4.

not even going to go there. i guess if you need something in a pinch...
the lumia charger runs at like 300ma or maybe its 500. but i think its 300. plain and simple... that is not enough. the people that have zero issues are running qi chargers at 1000ma.
Hello guys,
I have a nexus 4 device and I'm very pleased with it.
currently I have a charged credit card with ~20-21$ on it.
looks like a great opprotunity to buy a nice wireless charger for my nexus.
I've seen the 23 dollars charger:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=300964279534
which looks great but am missing like a dollar or two to complete the transaction.
I have the official LG nexus 4 bumper case and my deepest concern is
that when ill place the phone on the charging pad there will be a slight gap
between the two and therefore the phone will not be charged.
Two questions:
1) can someone with the LG nexus 4 bumper case can confirm he is charging with a wireless charger,
if so, which one?
2) what is the best wirless charger I can buy for my nexus 4
in the sum of 20$?
Thanks alot you guys and have a pleasent day!

1. I have the bumper and the Ringke Fusion cases and they both work with both my wireless charges.
2. I bought a generic white QI charger on Amazon and a 2.1A transformer. The QI charger will work with the factory nexus transformer, but it reall needs 2.0A to fast charge.

QI Charger: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00E957NFC/ref=oh_details_o06_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Transformer: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005CG2ATQ/ref=oh_details_o02_s00_i01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
The wireless charger needs 2.0 amps to properly charge the phone. The factory tansformer is 1.1 amps. So I bought that 2.1 amp transformer to power the wireless charger.

you mean the charger cord of the nexus is 1.1 amps?
if so, why using 2.1 amp transformer?
wont it harm the device or should there be some kind of a bottle neck?
cheers

Not the cord, the USB/AC Adapter is 1.1 amps. You can use with the wireless charger, but the charger should be used with a 2.0 amp USB/AC Adapter to work it's best.

Hey guys whats your wireless charger and receiver setup that you have or would recommend? I would preferably like to continue using my Neo Hybrid case, but I'm open to anything else out there.
Would the Google Nexus wireless charger work with the S4?

I'm using the original Samsung QI cover in combination with the first Nexus QI charger (the one which is not flat). The phone sits perfect on it ... not sure if the case does still fit on it afterwards, because the QI cover is much (!) thicker.

Since both utilize the Qi standard, you can use the Nexus wireless charger with your S4.

But to answer your questions, use any usb cable you want.
Nexus 4 ORB works like a charme to charge the N5
Gesendet von meinem Nexus 5 mit Tapatalk
i bought this car charger from Anker ("press here") , but i don't know what is the suitable Usb cable the i have to buy , is there any specs for this or any tricks i have to know it before i purchase any cable ..??
regarding the Qi charger , i need a product that will not cause any heat or over charging of the battery , since i used to put the cell phone in the charger at night and sometimes i forget to pull it out from the charger , i saw some posts indicating there are some Qi charger will stop charging automatically when the battery become full , that is will be awesome soon as the nexus 5 battery is not removable one .
and also i heard that most of the Qi charrger need to place the nexus 5 centered or in aligned position with the charger otherwise it will not work.
i have some links that put in my cart in Amazon :
Lerway Wireless Qi Power Charger Pad for Lumia920 HTC 8X S4 S3 Note II (Black)
CHOE UPGRADED Qi Wireless Charger Charging Pad for Nexus 5, Nexus 7(2013) , Nexus 4, Lumia 920, and Other Qi-Enabled Phones and Tablets
PowerBot® PB1020 Qi Enabled Wireless Charging Pad Station for All Qi Standard Compatible Devices Including Samsung, iPhone, Nokia, Google, Nexus, LG, HTC and Other Smartphones with Receivers (AC Adapter Not Included. Micro USB Cable Included), Black
my budget for the Qi is 20$ to 30$ ...
for the power bank , i am planning to buy this ( link ) since it have good rating .
Does anybody know if the Nokia Qi Charger DT-601 for Lumia 920 works with the Nexus 4?
I read something, that cheaper Qi chargers have no trickle charging, which is quite essential if you dont want to kill the battery.
Nokia chargers aren't really cheap but Qi is Qi so it should work

No, it doesn't really work. Positioning the phone is very difficult since there isn't a magnetic locator in the base. My N4 kept slipping off. Was a total cluster. I sold it and got the official charger and haven't looked back.
