Battery life is greatly improved from stock ics! Thanks again for everything! I'm almost doubling battery life! No complaints or issues.

I used my phone pretty constant today. Brightness was cranked, downloaded quite a bit of stuff. Pretty damm good battery life! One thing I have found is that whenever you play a preview of music from the play store you get a terrible loud like crackle noise. But no big deal.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I577 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Good stats... And there is no audio crackling outside of the play store correct? Cause there isnt for me... Just making sure... My stats
_sent from a gummed up i577 using tapatalk cause the xda app won't sync_
The crackling noise only happens in the play store when you play a preview of music. I haven't noticed anywhere else. It's not a big deal. How long did you charge the phone for?

Yeah, you aren't supposed to do that.

Issues i've found so far
Just wanted to state the issues i have faced so far:
1-all the mentioned bugs before me are there.
2-the Google play store does not connect idk why ???
3- a lot of the normal apps that naturally comes with the MIUI are not there, like the FM radio, the chattings apps, the locations apps....
Still looking for more...
Btw deveshmanish i have to thank you personally for showing me the most AMAZING THEME I HAVE SEEN IN MY LIFE
And please if you know others like that style please let me know
Again thank you buddy
^play store should work, it works for me. I think you flashed the wrong version of gapps.
Does anyone else have a problem installing some apps from the play store? One in particular is the license key to a premium app even though I have the trial installed.

Working:
Wifi
Incoming calls and texts
Display
It boots doesn't it?
Charges
Note: I disabled SELinux because of the incompatibilities from AOSP.
Pretty much everything else
Not Working:
Top Priority:
1. 3g/HSPA+ Stuck on 2g bands from AT&T. AT&T people can see 3g bands? Looks like I accidentally pulled the exhilarate bits.Need to see if flashing the radio will make a difference.
This bug will not let you make outgoing texts/calls.
[STRIKE2. Must flash kernel on top of this rom, I don't know the root of the problem. Working on it.[/STRIKE]
3.Captivate keys (soft keys) for home and search are not working. Partly my side and omni's side. I don't think the msm8660-common keys are working correctly across all variants (skyrocket/Hercules)
4. You must remove setupwizard from the gaaps, it fc.
5. Usual CM bugs (gyro/speaker) I think i fixed the speaker but I need that part tested. I'm using the aosp parts to try and fix it.
6. GAAPS always forceclose
If you have another bug, please provide a logcat and a description of how the problem occurred.

He brother. Thank you for your work. Flashed all good. However it has the settings bug. On CM 11 nightlies since 12/10 if you try to open settings it force closes. I believe it might just be d801. Crb rom team fixed it in their release for today. Would love to run it again after fix.

It installed for me earlier with no problems at all, one thing you might want to check is that you have the latest twrp installed.

I used philz as well and don't have this issue. Hmm... Gapps shouldn't be an issue, but doesn't hurt to try, I would say start over as in re-download the rom and do a complete wipe again. Maybe your DL is bad. I use the "core" gapps, only 17mb. Try that as well.

Oh yeah, brother, and still silk! Have yet to find a bug. Strange the problem the other user is having, hopefully it gets corrected. Funny thing is, though, when I first used Slimkat, the smaller DPI took some getting used to, now I change my build.prop to emulate it! How's Purity coming?

Video recording works for me. It has a three to five second delay, but it's there. I tried on stock and on JB+ and both recorded. Don't know about bluetooth, don't use it.
As always, did you do a full wipe? Correct recovery? Another user had an issue but solved it with a different gapps.

My phone thinks it's a Blaze.
Wondering if someone can help me.
I had installed a Blaze ICS Rom on my daughter's Galaxy Exhilarate about an year ago. I am now trying to install Gummy ROM, and it is not installing. My phone thinks it's Blaze, not Exhilarate.
Next I installed CM11 for Blaze and I am not getting any in-call sound. I tried installing different Radios from both T-Mobile & AT&T.
I am lost. How can either install this on my daughter's Exhilarate that thinks it is Blaze or make sound work on Blaze CM11 on Exhilarate?
Any help will be highly appreciated.
