My phone thinks it's a Blaze.
Wondering if someone can help me.
I had installed a Blaze ICS Rom on my daughter's Galaxy Exhilarate about an year ago. I am now trying to install Gummy ROM, and it is not installing. My phone thinks it's Blaze, not Exhilarate.
Next I installed CM11 for Blaze and I am not getting any in-call sound. I tried installing different Radios from both T-Mobile & AT&T.
I am lost. How can either install this on my daughter's Exhilarate that thinks it is Blaze or make sound work on Blaze CM11 on Exhilarate?
Any help will be highly appreciated.

I am building from source, again this is using the razrqcom-dev-team trees as a base. Big thanks goes out to those folks, they have been extremely helpful.
Time to be lazy and copy from my other thread... CM10.2 issues will probably be present in here, etc.
Enjoy!

I haven't had any issues with 4g as of yet. Wifi tether works great. What doesn't work and I would love would be FastCharge.

I've responded about FastCharge in my kernel thread. This has nothing to do with the ROM, although the option is visible at the ROM level, the feature is really kernel based.
Thanks. See my post here in my kernel thread for more information as to why I decided to not enable it.

Maybe people have moved onto new phones but trust me. I packed some juiced into the 2nd update. Hardware remap works. Everything works minus minor bugs. I've been going through so much sht lately, I don't honestly think I'll be deving for long anymore which is why I decided to build for the skyrocket which was one of my first phone that got me
You can quit deving, but only after this is in tiptop working order. Sorry for your troubles lately, but all of life's issues are tests, and the way you respond are the answer. Hope all gets better for you
Sent from my SGH-I727 using Tapatalk 2
Don't let the number of replies get you down.
It looks like a great rom. My issue is where it says "BT seems to be borked" (need it for my pebble). Once that's sorted out I'd love to give it a go!
I've been running the rom since last night and I absolutely love it! Thank you for all the hardwork in keeping the skyrocket running the latest and greatest. Whatever it is you have going on in life I hope it gets sorted out well.
I have no wifi and am being throttled by att. Tried to install, but must have a bad dl. Will try again later. Keep the faith.
SGH-I727 Peace
Welcome back! Definitely flashing this one.

Liking this ROM so far. Only issue I keep having is that the back button stops working and keyboard won't show. I end up having to reboot to fix it. Once I reboot messaging force close till I clear cache and force close myself.

This is looking pretty slick!
Quick question though, I really like the Driving Mode feature, but is there any way to add it to a Qucksetting tile?
I've tried making a custom tile but can't find the setting under the available options.

I went to flash and it just sat there saying "Mount system" or something along those lines for what seemed like foreverrrrrrrr. Is that just it downlading then?

No thats the wiping bug i was referring to. Old bug from early G2 development . first noticed in twrp 2.6.3.2. I am sure Tim will fix. Just leave it alone and let finish. It is formating system, data, cache etc... Then it mounts system and installs rom.

Paranoid Android 4.4 [RC 2]
for Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0
INFOI wanted to have the same ROM for my tablet as for my phone so decided to make a device configuration for Paranoid Android.
I only have the WIFI version of the tablet so i can't test the 3g or lte rom, just let me know if there is stuff that does not work.
Used @ketut.kumajaya CM11 source as a base, and only made the necessary configuration for PA.
This is an Unofficial rom, with no support from official PA, Don't contact the PA team if something doesn't work.

Have not had any reproduce-able bugs yet, but expect them to be there!
Will have to wait until more people test and report their bugs.
Fantastic, been waiting patiently for ParanoidAndroid to pop up for this Tab :good:
Thanks a lot!

Since it's currently in beta, I think PA they are adding features slowly, so if you've use PA in the past it'll look more like CM11 till they add more features in.

Hi, I have Kindle Fire HD and just recently some devs managed to get it made official with OTA support & from what I understand all devices not Nexus/Oppo are labeled & put under AOSPA-Legacy - http://goo.im/devs/aospa_legacy
I know it's early days yet, but thought I'd post about it, but it's completely your choice if you wish to look into getting official status, still not sure how it all works so don't know if it would even make a difference as I'm not sure how the AOSPA-Legacy are maintained.
Thanks again :good:
I will have a look soon, in the meantime i can just fork ParanoidOTA and modify it to pull the updates from my server.
Flashed fine...seemed stable..needs features though...when I think PA I think features...this has less features than cm at this point..great base though..hoping this evolves and gets the regular basic customizations added.

guys...to flash a new rom this tab needs to unlock bootloader or it is already unlocked?
You only have to flash a custom recovery to device using ODIN, you can read about it here.
