NOt much help but i don't have that problem here with CM11 M2. Works just fine. Might be time for a factory reset.

Here's a somewhat interesting case, I think.
I installed CyanogenMod 10.1 and now have this problem where I can't hear/talk when I make a phone call. The call does connect to the other side (after a brief freeze of the phone app), but I hear nothing. Toggling the phone volume up/down during call makes no sound.
Here's what I've tried thus far:
Flash UXUMA7 modem.
Flash UCLI3 modem (current)
Take out SIM, shutdown phone. Insert SIM, reboot, reboot.
All other functions seem to work fine (messaging, etc.)
I'm on AT&T.
I was planning to reinstall a stock ROM and then flash CM again, but one thing confused me: I could call and hear fine when I was in Europe with a European (Vodaphone) SIM card last week. However, the same problem occurred when I used this SIM card to try to call the US (from Europe). So I'm wondering, is there setting I need to change?
Thanks in advance!
What ROM did you specifically install?

You could have stuck with 10.1-just not the experimental build. There was a commit added that fixed the no in-call audio bug. The audio is working fine now on the nightly builds. You can check out the thread and see which one has been the most stable for other users.
So I upgraded to the 04/03/13 nightly build of CyanogenMod 10.1 P3100 today. Everything seems to be working great except that my microphone won't work! Any help would be much appreciated. Won't work in any app.

I had the same problem last week but rebooting the device solved it for me. I hope it works for you too.
I did have the same problem. By installing an update of google search my microphone worked again
Thanks for the tip. I have tried the above two methods to no avail! Maybe in the next nightly it will fix itself. Would be grateful if anyone else had some tips!

Uhm, mine works great, but I could not get the CM Nightlies to install. Always give me a system 7 error with CWM ROM Manager. So, I used the EXPERIMENTAL build and man, that really works great. Everything works, no problems at all after installing the update that came in system settings, once installed. The only problem I had was hardly any SDcard space after installing. Found the fix for it, even reposted it for others who had this problem. Format the internal SD card after installing. You will lose all of your apps but Google put them all back in like ½ an hour, so now the tablet rocks so hard, I cannot find *anything* that does not work anymore. Originally I had audio problems, audio would crap out if you used the HP jack and tried to talk. But after the update, this jellybean ROM is golden. Give it a try, it is really, really good.
Installing now! Thanks for the tip!

THE SAME PROBLEM P3110 BAKED Blackbean ... MIC NOT WORKING
Same problem with dark fantasy Rom... Funny thing is... Skype still works...
Solved!
Hey guys just wanted to post the fix I found. Even though I have the Tab 2 7 inch WiFi model, I accidentally installed the P3100 rom which is not meant for the WiFi model. After I re-installed the correct P3110 rom, it worked flawlessly (also RC 1). Hope this helps some of the other people on this thread!

I am having the same issues. I thought it was just Google Search/Voice Search that was the problem, but it is actually the microphone in general as recording video doesn't record sound. I had the same GS issue with PAC Rom. and both roms I had to edit the services file and re-zip so that my cwm recognized p3110 as the correct device to install (status 7 error) everything else works fine. I just cant figure out how to get the mic working. I uninstalled google search, I've updated, I've tried to reflash cm 10.1 as well as gapps. I watched vids on how to change input settings on voice to text. Still nothing

I just noticed I did the samething. I must've hit the wrong button on my first flash when watching a tutorial, and then just assumed 3100 was for any other ones I downloaded. I am downloading the correct version now and will see if that fixes things.
good !

Hi!
I've got an issue during call, when I activate the speaker phone, my microphone turns off and the other person can't hear me. What could cause that?
I'm running CoolDevelopment's CM 11 4.4.2

Try to wipe data/factory reset.
I got same problem. It started in 4.1.2 offical rom. And i have same problem 4.2.2 too. And now, i have remix rom 4.4.2 and still have same problem. I belive it's hardware bug.
Yesterday I flashed LS 3.2 Nightly over 3.1. This morning the headset volume was stuck at, I guess, about 90%. I lowered all volumes to 0, but still the volume of the headset stayed at 90%.
I wiped Dalvik and cache with no result.
Anybody experienced the same issue?
Any ideas how to resolve this issue?
Thanks in advance.
Why not ask in the rom thread where the users of the rom will definitely see your post? ?
It's Bern asked before. I also had this Problem. You need To enable Viper4Android in settings. After that all works normally
