Yesterday I flashed LS 3.2 Nightly over 3.1. This morning the headset volume was stuck at, I guess, about 90%. I lowered all volumes to 0, but still the volume of the headset stayed at 90%.
I wiped Dalvik and cache with no result.
Anybody experienced the same issue?
Any ideas how to resolve this issue?
Thanks in advance.
Why not ask in the rom thread where the users of the rom will definitely see your post? ?
It's Bern asked before. I also had this Problem. You need To enable Viper4Android in settings. After that all works normally

I have a rooted Nexus S i9023 running CM9 RC1 with Air Kernel... I usually have auto rotate turned off because I don't like it! But then a few days back my device used to auto rotate automatically with the rotate being turned off.. It solved itself after a few days so I didn't bother. But it's just stuck in landscape mode and will not switch no matter what I do! It happened while I was using KangyU also and it happened with it also 3 times. Everytime I need to perform a factory reset and flash a new ROM and then it solves :/ I used androsensor and it does show a value for Accelerometer but my phone simply does not rotate! Is there a problem with my accelerometer? Do i need to give it to the service center or can I do something that will solve it? Any help appreciated
If doing a factory reset/ reflash fixes it. Then it is not a hardware issue.
Not factory reset persay. I need to flash a new ROM for it to go normal

This is probably a problem with your Kernel or ROM, please flash a stock ROM to ensure that the accelerometer is fine. If you are afraid you might lose anything make a backup or so.
Okay yeah AiRKernel might be the problem. Thanks I'll try it and let you know. Thanks!

I went stock.. But AndroSensor is still showing the same reading it was showing on CM9.. And the auto-rotation bug only comes after a few weeks into any ROM.. Also everytime that occurs I get a prompt saying
" Complete action using
Clock
Tune In Radio "
Everytime I get that pop-up I'm stuck on landscape for infinity. So can it be an app problem? It's happened so far on 3 ROM's I've used (KangyU, CM9, Paranoiandroid)
so I doubt whether it is a ROM issue. Maybe a Kernel issue because I've used AirKernel on all 3 of them
Could be either I suppose. Not sure how either could cause it though
The sensor read out should be the same no matter what rom is on there. That is normal. The app itself tells you what the read outs from each sensor should be as well
My point. But what I mean is, If readings are the same then the behaviour should be same as well right? Where is the accelerometer exactly located?

It happened on Stock also :/ stock ics stock kernel. Same popup :/
Accelerometer issue?

If a new rom and kernel didn't fix it then it might be hardware.
Strangest thing happened. I uninstalled Tune In Radio and voila auto rotate back! So the app was the issue! But any idea what might have possessed that app to do so? :/

I have to turn the speaker on and put my ear to the speaker to hear someone
Any known solutions?
(I have <10 posts so can't post on the development thread)
It's working for me. Not need to fix it. Do a full wipe if something not going well.

It's working for me too.
Someone else posted it on the thread too
Also statusbar sometimes ****s up like this
You sure wipe will fix it?
Anyway I'll wait a week then flash a newer version then wipe
It's flash ROM then wipe right? (do I have to install Gapps again?)
Also is there a way to boost incall volume even if it's working right?
Are You using any mod? For me it's working. I have GravityBox + Xposed.

Hide one of the battery indicators. If GB use no indicator. If stock menu use Hidden in battery indicator setting

There's only 1 indicator, problem isn't the indicator, problem is statusbar getting squished
Anyway it's a minor problem, doesn't happen that often I'm more concerned about the other issues

Hi guys, I recently flashed my Nexus S (i9023) to CyanFox 2.0.1. and CyanFox Gapps 2013-12-15. I have an issue with youtube. I have the HQ button selected but still it's not playing like in my previous rom (cm 11) and I don't know why. It's somehow pixelated, around the edges I see little squares, I think you know what I mean .I tried to uninstall the app and then reinstall it but still no result. Does anybody have the same problem ? Does anybody know how to fix this ? I have attached two printscreens, first from my Nexus S with the issue and second from my brother's Orange Nivo which doesn't have the issue.
Can you try clearing YouTube data and see if the problem still persists?
I cleared cache and data but the problem is still there...
Sent from my Nexus S using xda app-developers app
same problem for me also on both cyanogenmod 10.1 and 10.2, its not rom specific, that "sh1t" started after the "big" update that you could be able to search for videos and still be able to watch at the same time in a very tiny window at the bottom.
@iakoboss7 for me it is a rom problem because I had cm 11 before cyanfox with the youtube updated with the "big update" that you are talking avout and it was playing videos without this problem...

Anyone else having issues with swiftkey staying at default? I know there was an issue when you reboot the phone, the keyboard would reset but, it happens when the screen is off or the phone goes into deep sleep.
Was wondering if anyone knows of a fix??
Stock rooted ROM and kernel

Sorry cannot reproduce. Been using swift key every since i got the phone and not had any problems keeping it as a default, even after rebooting.
That happened to me on KK as well as JB. I simply disable the stock keyboard in Settings.

That's weird... You think GravityBox could be causing it? That's the only "modifications" I've made.
I've tried the official release and the new beta release and still have the same problems.

It could be as I don't have that Mod installed.

They fixed it on JB but I'll try that and see what happens.

I've installed Viper4Android on my N5 (Carbon ROM, ElementalX kernel), and when it works, it works great. However, it doesn't always kick in automatically. Sometimes I have to open the app in order to get it to run.
I've uninstalled the driver/app and reinstalled V4A multiple times. Same issue.
Any ideas on what's going on?
Could be the 4.4.2 0bytes running services issue.

I'm on Carbon. Interesting...can you shed some light on this issue? I'm assuming there's no workaround.
Also had this issue on slimkat.
Converting to a system app in titanium backup solved it for me.

We've got a whole viper4android thread in themes and apps which even has flashable zips in it.
