[Q] has anyone found a solution for this BT and WIFi collision? - Samsung Galaxy S Relay 4G

https://github.com/TeamApexQ/apexq/issues/40
it seems to be an ongoing issue which defenitely prevents me from moving to cynogen mod.

It is available. Nightlies are being built every day. I believe the fix has also been rolled into the CM 10.2 codebase, and will hit in the next stable release. Though @Nardholio will have to confirm that.

Nightlies aren't stable question has it bee introduced to 10.2 stable release from December

See my previous post. It will come in the next stable 10.2 release.

Also, CM 11 M2 is available for the Relay now. The nightlies are generally quite stable, we're actually well upon our way toward a release.

Okay then, emaayan. Go with CM-11.0 M2. It's a superiour product to CM 10.2.0 in every way anyway.

Which recovery are you using? Are you using the one linked to in the installation directions on the Wiki? If not, do so. It should work.

I'm using 6.0.2.8 but could it Because I'm already rooted?

That recovery is far too old. Use the one linked in the CyanogenMod wiki for the apexqtmo. It's also the one linked in the CM-11 preview thread here.

The recovery I posted is the only recovery image that TeamApexQ supports. I also posted a recovery zip later in the thread that I can assure you works as well. Any other recoveries that you can get to work, excellent, but we are not supporting it. The OP will not be changed. As for the question of BTC, as I already stated, we've fixed it in CM-11. We found new firmware that works with it and the Relay.

Can I still restore backup after 'MD5 mismatch'?
I recently got a new i577 that came with Android v4.0.4 loaded. I installed 'Philz 6' and did a backup before trying a couple custom ROMs. I just went to restore my backup and it failed, showing 'MD5 mismatch'. I'm wondering if my backup is now useless/lost. Any way I can fix this and get my v4.0.4 back?
Any thoughts or help? THANK YOU!
Somewhere on this site is a zip file of stock ice cream sandwich. Just do some searching and you'll find it And if you want the stock recovery image that's on here to
Found a stock ROM for 4.0.4 and loaded it. Works fine BUT, I still have to reload all my stuff from scratch. A real PITA. Why did the RESTORE fail. Doesn't make me trust 'Philz' very much. Looks like I'll have to find another backup tool and ONLY use Philz for loading ROMs. Maybe Ill switch over to TWRP if it does reliable backups.
@mem5449
There is a fairly recent TWRP for the Exhilarate out here somewhere on XDA. I'll try to find the link.

I could never get this image to install when I've tried it -- I suspect it requires a 4.2.X or earlier recovery to flash. (This image is quite old) My 4.3.1 recovery throws errors with this one.

Help flashing 4.4

I'm able to install several 4.1.2 and 4.2.2 based ROMs, but I've tried 3 different 4.4 based ROMs and they all failed. Anything I should know about TWRP flashing 4.4 ROM to D2VZW SGS3? I used Casual to root and unlock. I've jumped around to different kernels but back at stock. I tried a few 4.4 and 4.3 kernels when trying to install kitkat roms but that didn't matter either, still got a FAIL in TWRP. I wiped dalvik, cache and data, and even system, abd a few times more than once. Any ideas?
You running the latest TWRP? Maybe try CWM. Why do you use TWRP?

YevOmega I started with CWM back in the days, but switched to TWRP, something about touch screen menu and OTG that got me. I'm a sucker for technical evolution. I am glad to see CWM Touch is out finally and I'll give it a try if TWRP lets me down or doesn't keep providing updates.

Sorry man, but i am new to this stuff, bare with me. Recovery? Is that the program i use to flash ROMS and other things to my phone? I have the Team Win Recovery Project and i hate it. I read that i need to update this before i flash so i did and it still happened. I want to delete the Team Win Recovery Project and go back to Clockwork Mod (i think its called). Any idea how to do this?
Download flashify from play store and use it. It will let you download and flash either recovery. There's a variety of other apps and ways as well. In all honesty though, if you're using the latest version of twrp then you shouldn't have a problem flashing if you're trying the appropriate roms for your phone.

Also, others have successfully flashed the zip - see the comments in the main thread. I'll check it out myself.
I am using the unofficial TWRP 2.8.4.1. Would it be because I am still on CM11 and need to flash the CM12 firmware update first?
