I know what a phone cover is, but you said "phones bottom in over case".
Did it entirely turn yellow?
Maybe you can post a picture or something?

That's yellowing from nicotine...I know because it happens to 100% of the phone's that I own and even some screen cover's absorb it - like the milspec type that is washable and reusable. If it's not from nicotine then it's bong smoke. Wash your hands after smoking or convert to a pipe or vaporizer. And no, you cannot clean or fix it, you can only replace the housing and/or back cover.

Is it necessary to remove stickers?

Did you remove your Galaxy Note's stickers when you bought it? Will nothing happen if you keep them sticked?
As long as it doesnt say "Warranty void if removed" its allright...

See post above.
Oh those yes I removed mine as they are only for shipping protection.
There is no harm if you keep it but the ones on the front on the bezel next to speakers will come out automatically after a period of time the one at the back would not be an issue if you have case and will add an extra layer of protection for the plastic paint job but if you do not have a case then after a period of time they will look cheap there are no air vents which the stickers are blocking so no issues with you keep them
What happens when there are air vents?

Just remove the stickers. They were only for protection during shipping.
Where there are air vents and if you have plastic cover over it wouldnt it block the hot air from being blowed out, that brings me to the question how is the cooling taken care of in tablets there are no fans or airvent to blow the hot air out
Just passive heat dissipation. Not everything needs to be actively cooled via forced air convection.

Sharp metal edge on ATT SGS4?

I just purchased an ATT SGS4 after having an SGS2 for two years, and I'm still getting used to its larger size. I usually hold my phone in one hand, with a finger on the bottom/USB port. I continued to buy the SGS4 because I seem to be the only person on earth who actually prefers a plastic phone body to metal. I hate touching metal (it's a weird OCD thing).
The area around the micro USB port is metal, though, and when my finger rubs against the edge of the port, it feels sharp and slightly raised. And after holding the phone for a while, it irritates my finger. Has anyone else noticed this?
Hate to break it to ya its ALL plastic. maybe get a case? Case of placebo perhaps

Um no it's not all plastic, there is an extremely light aluminum magnesium frame. Where on earth did you think it was all plastic XD
I noticed this too but realized it was only the plastic film . Once I took it off all was fine

Hate you burst your bubble, but the "metalic" frame is polycarbonate plastic, just like the rest of the phone. It just has shiny silver paint.

It's plastic. Take the back cover off and you can see where the silver paint overlaps on the white body.

Case of tampons... j/k, but the OP certainly isn't the only one who prefers plastic. I don't feel a sharp edge on the bottom port though. I second the case suggestion.

See this guy knows what I'm talking about...
The USB port "hole" is punched out of the main phone body and a notch in the plastic back cover. On my phone at least, the seam isn't perfectly aligned, so when my finger rubs against it, I feel a rough edge.

Just watch multiple breakdowns yourself and you will see lol, also it's the trend for all Galaxy devices since the Galaxy S 4G
It is NOT an entire polycarbonate shell.
Link you in a minute.
Also magnesium alloy is extremely light and durable. It's going to remind you of plastic when side by side.
Well, I returned my phone and got a new one. It seems like such a minor flaw, but it was bothersome. The new phone thankfully does not have the same problem and has a smooth seam.
Omg. I thought the sides were all metallic until this post! Damn it

Only one way to tell if it's magnesium - try to set it on fire.

This was done on a tear down and it sparked and cracked like magnesium does. It's a great design to be honest, strong yet extremely light. Stronger then aluminum actually.

No case

OK - after seeing this video, I'm pretty set on not using a case. https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=py6zXJoS-cE
I was on the fence to start given that the phone is so darn huge already and I didn't want to add bulk. The one thing that got beat up in this video is the chrome bezel. Does anyone know of any of those full body protectors (similar to Invisible Shield) that have a piece for the sides/top/bottom? They don't all come with it and I have no plans to use screen protector or back protector, just cover the bezel.

This phone is so stupidly big (not singling out the S5, they all are now) that there is a special one handed mode which shrinks the screen down so you can get to to the top left corner (if you are right handed). Need to do whatever we can to not add bulk.

i still will use a case, my phones go everywhere with me, and get banged around pretty good, some of my cases have quite a bit of wear on them that i would hate to be on the phone, a $5 plastic case off Ebay is cheap insurance, and lets you get a lil personal touch to it, this time i decided to go with the $30 case but being as how the phone is water resistant it will be with me at all times so it will probably get a lil more abuse.

insurance from cell carriers is an enormous rip off unless you are very high risk. phones depreciate too fast for the high monthly fee + deductible to be worth it.

A shot in the dark here...you said this was your wife's phone right? Seeing that it is around the crease of the button...is it possible it is makeup stuck in there from when she presses it to her face on a phone call? Did you try a q-tip and some alcohol to see if it cleans out?

Pretty sure that's makeup stuck in there.
Those parts are plastic.
Turn off device
Q-tip with alcohol
soak the home button
wait a few minutes
Vacuum the moisture out.
Wait an hour or 2
Turn on device.
Nrush it off with a toothbrush and water, that part shpuld get water damage anyways, if the phone dies don't blame me tho lol

Camera glass already covered in small scratches

So I'm not even in 14 days, and I already see lots of tiny scratches on the glass in front of the camera. I can only see them if I look at the camera up to a light, but they're definitely there.
I have a case (spigen) and I'm sure it's not the case causing the camera to be flat against wherever I put it down?
Does anyone else have/see these scratches?
Comparatively I have an almost 1 year old moto x, with no scratches whatsoever.
This doesn't bode well.
I'm going to try and post a picture if I can.

If you read up, the glass covering the camera lens is just glass. Not gorilla glass, just regular glass. I've had this before on a different phone, and after time, the photos get a dullness to them. This is enough for me to return the device.

Make sure you remove the tiny plastic film. I didn't realize there was a film on the flash / HRM until recently. You might not have scratched the actual glass.

I don't doubt it is the manufacturer site, but they have been tagged as a malware site which is not really all that easy to do. It means that when visiting their site malwarebytes found them providing malware content. This is bad for their business and they should work to get that fixed.
But, this is not for Camera lens protection. So it is off topic anyway.
