[Q] CM 10.2 USB OTG -- Will work with flash drive, won't work with controller? - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S III

Hi there!
I've got my SIII running CM 10.2, and tonight my USB OTG cable came in the mail. Hooray! Except, when I tried it with my wired Xbox 360 controller, it didn't work. It's receiving power, because the Xbox logo blinks, but that's all it does. The adapter did work with my keyboard and a 64GB flash drive, however, so the cable isn't messed up. What setting do I need to change or app do I need to install to get it working?
Thanks for any help I can get!

Tried a couple more devices, and my Logitech controller won't work either, but an SD card reader will. There must be some option that I'm missing here to enable these controllers.

Bah. I cannot figure this crap out for anything.

[Q] USB Mouse and Keyboard

Is there anything I need to do/install to get my mouse or keyboard to work on 3.1? When I plug them in, nothing happens. I've also tried plugging in my iPhone and an Xbox 360 controller, just to see if there is any response to any of them to show that the Xoom sees them.
I have a wired mouse and wireless keyboard (I figured keyboard wouldn't work). I'm trying to figure out if I may just have a bad OTG adapter.
Bluetooth keyboards work just fine.
You won't get any notifications or popups when you plug in a device, they will just start working (eg, you can just start typing with the keyboard).
Yeah I assumed they would just start working, but I wasn't sure if my wireless keyboard would work. I know when I am, for example, installing windows the keyboard works before drivers get installed, just not to the full extent.
I need help on this aswell... anyone?
I was wondering about this aswell. Doesn't it need to download drivers for the keyboard/mouse to work? Also since there's only one USB plug, would a hub work to get like a keyboard and mouse working at the same time?
And would wireless work?

[Q] PS3 controller via usb trial and error

So I've been trying to connect my ps3 controller via usb to my gnote which isn't rooted. I thought I had it worked out yesterday but unfortunaitly today that methods isn't working. Yesterday I noticed that when I connect it after having had it connect to my ps3 under settings/storage it showed up as external mas storage so I pressed unmount, it tried to unmount it then in bottom right under notifications it said error unformatted or blank hard drive, so I disconnected the ps3 controller and otg cable then reset the controller, rebooted the tablet and then plugged controller back into the otg cable then connected to gnote and it worked. Problem is today that method doesn't seem to work.
Has anyone here worked out how to connect the controller every time, without root and without buying an app? I tried the joystick bt/usb app it doesn't work for me and because it connects without an app every other day there should be a sequence that can be followed to just connect without an app. If anyone has worked it out can you please put instructions up on the forum so anyone trying this can easily find and follow them. I've been looking all over for some instructions and have found his and pieces but non of it just works. Thanks
Anyone got any ideas?

[Q] cm11 and USB OTG

Any way to make usb otg work in cm11? i've tried a few different kernels and still can't get it to work.
Looks like so far this is the only thread that asks about broken usb OTG. Has anyone found a kernel that allows you to have mouse, keyboard, and USB storage support via OTG? I have never gotten a mouse to work with USB on this ROM, But on stock samsung firmware, you can get a mouse with a cursor and everything. Works with keyboards, and PS3 controllers as well.
But CM11 only has support for USB storage devices. What gives?

anyone have a fix for certain super nintendo or other controller buttons not working?

i have two controllers, one is a regular super ninendo controller plugged into a snes to usb adapter
http://www.amazon.com/Super-Nintend..._sim_63_7?ie=UTF8&refRID=04XZAWT1EYS6FFNRJ6YG
plugged into a female usb to micro usb.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812423075 (i have two of these)
it works fine on my computer and my note 2,
on my s3 on cm12, and my gf's LG gflex, the down and right buttons on the dpad arent detected at all.
this controller,
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002JAU20W?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00
works on the computer, but on my note 2, s3, and gflex, the X,Y,L,R buttons dont work at all. im using snes9x ex+ emulator, but they arent detected by the phone either because you can usually move around the home screen with the dpad and select icons.
does anyone know how to solve this issue or do i need to keep trying different controllers to find one that works

Lenovo Tab 2 Xbox 360 Wireless controller over OTG Cable

i want to use the controller for apps like fpse and stuff.
already tried USB BT Joycenter but that wasnt working, the controller was connecting and showing as First player but there was no input and i cant get any updated version of the app cause i cant find it on the appstore.
the other thing i tried was editing the controller layout files, but they werent even on the tablet.
is there anything else i can do to get this to work?
I tried to connect my xbox 360 wireless controller via dongle aswell. it kinda connects but i am not really sure. the moment i let the dongle and the controller search for each other they seem to find each other straight away, but the led ring just keeps blinking and wont find a channel so to speak.
i followed sleeplessninjas guide and copied over the vendor_45e_product_0291/0719.kl and kcm but it didnt change the controller problem.
the controller is not recognized by any app i tried nor does the system itself show any response to the controller input.
i can connect a mouse or a usb flashdrive without a problem plug n play out of the box. but the controller wont get recognized.
i read on a shop review that the problem would be that the lenovo tab2 a10 doesnt have driver for the controller shipped with it.
my question would be: would cooking up my own android rom help and would i even be able to make it work on the device, i keep reading about lenovo devices being *****y about bootloader and such.
and then again cooking up ones own android is kinda of a longshot for an android beginner like me. need to read more. propably doable but are there even drivers available for the device fitting the system?
would appreciate someone shedding a bit of light in all the confusion cheers
