As it says in the title, If I connect my charger and shake/rotate it will turn the screen on, it doesn't happen when it's not charging
Here is a video for better understanding

So don't shake it???

Heh I've never felt the need to shake my phone while charging yet, and I've had mobiles since the 90's

Lol, is not too much of shaking, if I just rotate or put it in the desk after having it in my hand it will turn the screen on too.
But the thing is solved tho, it's the charger that comes with the phone, managed to get another and it doesn't seem to happen anymore, and it kinda charges faster

I acquired an Ispire from a friend that was dropped in water in the past. The water sensor on the battery is perfect but the one on the mobo is red. It will vibrate on occasion but no LED's come on when plugged up and I can't get my laptop to recognize it.
Is it a lost cause or do you guys think it may have potential since I can get it to vibrate sometimes?
Any and all help is appreciated

Does it turn on at all? If its not turning on at all then its a lost cause. Have you tried pulling the battery for a few seconds and then entering hboot.

Doesn't turn on at all. It will vibrate after I pull battery but only once usually and no leds or anything come on.

Sounds like something fried. Can you boot it without the sd card in. If not then I'd say its toast. It probably needs a new main board. Especially since it has water damage.

Trying to fix an ATRIX 2 for a friend... he said he dropped it from about 2 feet on the a hard wood floor and it landed on its face... I've done about a good bit of searching through this ATRIX 2 community and couldn't find issue related to what is happening... phones dead for one... when I attempt to charge with moto USB/wall/ car no response when I attempt to charge from a Samsung wall charger (5.1v700mA) screen will flicker static type image then back light will remain light 5-15 sec Max.. again flicker back light then nothing.... no led response or illumination of captivate keys.... when plugged in USB into laptop (laptop on charger doesn't do it off charge) the notification led will flash white at the start of it being plugged in or after being unplugged... their is no cracks in the screen at all...should I make a factory cable and get it to boot prior to worrying about replacement of a digitizer if one was needed I know with my RAZR and d4 it would boot I just wouldn't see anything... thank you kindly for any assistance

Any thoughts...?

does the laptop detect the phone ? as in installing drivers and all ? or if motocast is installed, does motocast get activated ? cause we need to know whether atleast the phones internals are responding..
No response in the least bit from the laptop... drivers are installed... I do have motocast installed for my d4... I don't even get the da-ding noise

Dunno man, i guess its a motherboard problem or maybe the phone usb port problem.. you sure the battery has any power ?
Im just assuming here.. i guess your friend needs to take it to the moto repair centre..
When i get home tonight ima go ahead and make the factory cable to see if i cant get it to boot up... moto repair is not likely there is a cell repair near me but he's on the low income side and was just hoping I can get my good deed of the day out of it by a cheep or free fix... all out of my pocket... I was thinking it was something more then a digitizer as with my RAZR and d4 it would have a response from HDMI and PC would recognize them...thank you kindly for the quick reply...

Factory cable had no response... so I called moto and apparently when I told him to call he didn't... moto said it was still under warranty check my email for the prepaid postage find a box and send it in... I was even gonna pay them the extended warranty fee but I got lucky there... thanks ATRIX 2 community I will return to my d4 realm

Oh great to know that.. adios !
Hi,
Any one having an issue where when you connect your phone to the computer via USB, the phone's screen becomes less responsive?
For example swiping through the apps menu is laggy as hell, to the point where the phone will recognise a swipe as a press and will launch the app.
I am currently running Cataclysm and Franco R13, but I have flashed stock and the same occurs
I haven't received my N5 yet but what you describe happens with the N4 and other phones, it is caused by interference from the charging circuit. Think its quite normal, I guess they think most people aren't really going to use the screen whilst its plugged in.

I don't know what cause the problem but when I connect my lg optimus 2x to my laptop, the screen becomes very unresponsive. The same thing happens with my father's nokia lumia 620 but in this case the phone totally not responding to any touch. But on my desktop computer everything works fine with the same usb cable

OK Cheers guys so long as it is normal and no a faulty unit.
It's probably a problem with your drivers. Try installing the universal drivers from the stickied root thread. I managed to get my phone to lag last night during backup of 3gigs of photos and videos on mega though. It was very very very laggy.

I bought a damaged nexus 5 off of kijiji that had a shattered screen. I bought the phone to fix, but realized that the phone does not power on at all. There is no response from the phone at all. No charging LED, no vibration, or any other signs of life.
The phone came with the box and charger so i tried leaving it on charge for a few hours hoping that it was just the battery that went dead. Unfortunately this was not the case and the phone still doesnt turn on. I popped open the back cover looking for any visible damage on the phone, but it doesnt look like there is anything wrong. The liquid damage indicators have not been triggered (still completely white) and i do not see any corrosion on the inside which i guess rules out liquid damage.
I then thought that it could possibly be the charging circuit from the micro usb so i then tried with a qi wireless charger. The wireless charger doesnt even detect that a phone is placed on it when the nexus 5 is on it.
At this point i have no idea what is wrong with the phone and feel like i just bought an expensive paper weight . I dont really want to shell out the $120 for a full screen assembly if the phone doesnt work at all.
Anyone have any ideas?
battery might of been left flat too long
keep trying to charge it
also see if you can get into download mode by holding the up volume key and plugging the USB lead in while attatched to a running pc

I left it to charge overnight and still no signs of life. I did notice if you put the phone up to your ear when it's charging you can hear a pulsating noise. Not sure if that helps at all.
I will try the download mode thing. Also I have a Usb jig from my s2 days. Will it work with this phone?

As far as i know from previous phones i owned, the liquid marks should show red/pink X marks, those get washed out in liquid damage scenarios. So if you ask me, the white indicators are suspicious. (But i might be wrong of course).

We from my experience the indicators are white and they turn red/pink when exposed to liquid so I'm pretty sure it's fine.

Hi. My girlfriend has had her Moto G 2015 (3rd gen) for almost a year now. The phone has been advertised as waterproof, which she has taken advantage of. She was using it in the pool last week to take pictures. It wasn't under for very long at all, and wasn't very deep at all. Ever since then, the battery led in the top speaker grill has been constantly on. Power on/off doesnt fix, and neither does clearing the cache partition. It's only supposed to be on when the battery is really low. Any ideas to fix?

If your phone is rooted, then download MOTO X Led Notification App from playstore and try to toggle it off from there.
The device isn't rooted, however k have considered rooting it just to see if that can fix it.
