it is not a brick
flash factory images as mentioned above or push a custom rom with adb command when booting in custom recovery mode
Code:
adb push name of rom.zip /data/media/
adb reboot recovery
then install the rom

If I'm reading this correctly, you have access to bootloader and recovery, but don't have a ROM.zip file to flash. Correct me if I'm wrong though?
If that's the case, check my post here.

[Q] SD card wont mount, and is repeating on Bootloader.

I NEED HELP! :crying: It's been 2 days and I have been searching all over the internet to find an answer and i cannot. I flashed Cyanogen 10 and it started up but after that, the sd card wouldnt mount, ive tried everything i could, but nothing is working. I need some help please!
Im on Wind Mobile, Hboot is 1.14.0004.
I couldnt find an RUU that worked, and my cid is Globa001
OK so do you have a working ROM and just can't mount with that rom? Or are you in a boot loop and can't mount in recovery? What recovery are you using?
Sent from my HTC One S using xda premium
I had the cyanogen rom but it wont start up anymore, I just installed it through recovery TWRP 2.1.7 but it didnt work! I turn it on and i get stuck at the HTC Quietly Brilliant with the red writing at the bottom "this build is for development......"

hi!
it seems like I had the same problem some time ago after flashing CM10...
my solution: flash a recovery img with fastboot where u can access your internal sd via the usb cable. format it, done. I use the Team Win Recovery v2.3.3.0 - I hope u can do that with v2.1.7 too. After formatting the sd card, I flashed a new ROM (ViperOneS in my case) and everything worked fine again.

Well i flashed it, but it didnt work. Then i tried to adb push it to /data, but the zips didnts install. I got an error. So the phone still freezes at the "HTC quietly brilliant screen."
So when i try to flash a stock it says "FAILED (remote: signature verify fail)
What did you try to push to /data?
If my memory isnt failing me, /data isnt accessable by ADB by default (needs ro.secure=0 in default.prop).
Whatever you pushed, push it to /sdcard instead.

ADB push worked, the zip when through, but i just couldnt install it. I'm trying it now again to see if it works this time. and then im going to try to push it to /sdcard, but since its not in im not sure if it will detect it But i will try it right after i push it to /data/sdcard
Edit: Didnt work! im trying to push to /sdcard now.
Edit2: Well i tried to flash to /sdcard but the file did not show up
Edit3: So i got the file onto my phone, but it will not install because /sdcard and /cache will not mount. :'(

How do i reflash the rom i cant put the zip on the sd card from my computer atleast i dont know how (i have access to CWM and bootloader)
You should still have the rom, unless you deleted it... I use trwp and it let's you Mount the sd card, you might be able to do the same with CWM. You can also adb push the file(I think the all in one tool can do it for you)

i deleted the rom, im in the recovery there is a "mounts and storage" then in it it says
mount /cache
mount /data
mount /sdcard
mount /system
formate /all of the above
mount usb storage
is that what you are talking about and if so what do i do?
Mount SD card and USB storage. That should let your compute see your phone and let you transfer the rom over.

Can you go into Bootloader/Fastboot? (Volume Down + Power)
EDIT: Read your other thread. You need to flash a stock recovery. You can do that via fastboot. Flash a stock recovery, format SD card, then flash a custom recovery again and you should be good to go.
Process of flashing any recovery is easy. Refer to the method in my signature, you just need to follow the RECOVERY FLASHING PART ONLY.
Other necessary info is also available.

Great. Now you have a stock recovery. Just format the SD Card from recovery and the SD should be good.
Afterwards, you can flash any custom recovery and mess around with flashing ROMs etc.

Download This. Open the zip file with 7-Zip or WinRAR, go to firmware.zip, extract recovery.img.
Then flash the recovery in the same way. This is the stock recovery and not TWRP.
I am assuming your phone to be S3 and updated to Jellybean already.
