I NEED HELP! :crying: It's been 2 days and I have been searching all over the internet to find an answer and i cannot. I flashed Cyanogen 10 and it started up but after that, the sd card wouldnt mount, ive tried everything i could, but nothing is working. I need some help please!
Im on Wind Mobile, Hboot is 1.14.0004.
I couldnt find an RUU that worked, and my cid is Globa001
OK so do you have a working ROM and just can't mount with that rom? Or are you in a boot loop and can't mount in recovery? What recovery are you using?

hi!
it seems like I had the same problem some time ago after flashing CM10...
my solution: flash a recovery img with fastboot where u can access your internal sd via the usb cable. format it, done. I use the Team Win Recovery v2.3.3.0 - I hope u can do that with v2.1.7 too. After formatting the sd card, I flashed a new ROM (ViperOneS in my case) and everything worked fine again.

Well i flashed it, but it didnt work. Then i tried to adb push it to /data, but the zips didnts install. I got an error. So the phone still freezes at the "HTC quietly brilliant screen."
So when i try to flash a stock it says "FAILED (remote: signature verify fail)
What did you try to push to /data?
If my memory isnt failing me, /data isnt accessable by ADB by default (needs ro.secure=0 in default.prop).
Whatever you pushed, push it to /sdcard instead.

ADB push worked, the zip when through, but i just couldnt install it. I'm trying it now again to see if it works this time. and then im going to try to push it to /sdcard, but since its not in im not sure if it will detect it But i will try it right after i push it to /data/sdcard
Edit: Didnt work! im trying to push to /sdcard now.
Edit2: Well i tried to flash to /sdcard but the file did not show up
Edit3: So i got the file onto my phone, but it will not install because /sdcard and /cache will not mount. :'(

Can you flash a different recovery? - That's what I would try first, then make shure that the SD is mountable. I remember not being able to install a ROM without a working SD...

Just make sure it's not just a corrupted data partition first before doing something as drastic as repartition.

You'll know that it's more than a corrupted partition when running disk scan/fix (using e2fsck from an adb shell through recovery) and then afterwards flashing the rom again doesn't work.

Try Heimdall?
What method did you use? You tried flashing CWM 6.01.0 and then flashing CM 10? what version and what build? Maybe you want to flash another build in case it's just a problem in certain build?
I did mine using Heimdall, Give this a go
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1517934
for windows you can find the step here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=29104577&postcount=29
Take a deep breath, read the instruction once again and then try, Good luck!

ADB (Android Debug Bridge) comes with the Android SDK. Basically you boot the device into CWM recovery then connect the device to a computer using a USB cable and run the command 'adb shell' which will then give you a shell prompt where you can send commands directly to be run on the device.
If you're getting reboots from trying to wipe certain partitions repeatedly from CWM then that's a pretty strong indication that you have a corrupted partition.

What OS are you running? Windows? do make sure you follow the README and install the drivers to your computer.
4. Install the driver using zadig.exe as noted in the readme. BUT for me, P6200 usb driver is stated as Gadget Serial in the list. (not samsung usb composite)

You should still have the rom, unless you deleted it... I use trwp and it let's you Mount the sd card, you might be able to do the same with CWM. You can also adb push the file(I think the all in one tool can do it for you)

i deleted the rom, im in the recovery there is a "mounts and storage" then in it it says
mount /cache
mount /data
mount /sdcard
mount /system
formate /all of the above
mount usb storage
is that what you are talking about and if so what do i do?
Mount SD card and USB storage. That should let your compute see your phone and let you transfer the rom over.

Can you go into Bootloader/Fastboot? (Volume Down + Power)
EDIT: Read your other thread. You need to flash a stock recovery. You can do that via fastboot. Flash a stock recovery, format SD card, then flash a custom recovery again and you should be good to go.
Process of flashing any recovery is easy. Refer to the method in my signature, you just need to follow the RECOVERY FLASHING PART ONLY.
Other necessary info is also available.

Great. Now you have a stock recovery. Just format the SD Card from recovery and the SD should be good.
Afterwards, you can flash any custom recovery and mess around with flashing ROMs etc.

Thanks alot man, for ur patience and help, seriously thanks alot!
Hello recently I changed a setting on my phone's build.prop file. I have a ZTE Warp Sync on Android 4.4.2. I believe I changed the dalvik.vm.heapzise=8m(or similar to that). I didn't mean to put 8 in but wanted 148. I have the default build.prop file but can only access the recovery mode. So I am wondering if anyone knows how to make a signed update.zip because everyone I make seems to fail. Also if I try doing any adb commands it says "error:closed." Thank you for any help or advice you can supply it is all appreciated.

Thanks for your response. I just tried out the file manager but every time it says it fails verification because it's not signed.

? which verification, he's talking about replacing build.prop with original one using a file manager, not flashing it

I put it into my SD card and selected the "Apply update from SD Card" option and it would fail and say it was not signed. I don't have a special recovery or anything only the stock Android.

Lol, are you flashing build.prop file? and with stock recovery?? You have to flash a custom recovery then you can flash your ROM or just replace the file using file manager

I just keep trying to push things through the SD Card option. I don't think I can install a custom recovery without getting into the phone. But if I can I have no idea how to.

I believe I've found a rom but I would prefer to not. It needs TWRP installed which in recovery mode I'm unsure how to do. The reason I would like to not flash a rom is because I've got 400 pictures or so from my Italy trip and would like to save them. Other than that I don't need anything on the device.
I don't think flashing a stock rom will delete your photos because they shouldn't touch the sdcard partition of the phone. At least it's been like that on the numerous phones I've flashed to and from stock

My photos aren't on the sd card unfortunately. This is the only rom I've found for my phone and I don't know how to install it because it looks like it needs twrp.

Edit: I still do not believe I have fastboot mode. From what I see the phone just reboots.

Ok thank you so much. Ill be sure to try this as soon as I can. Very much appreciated.
Edit: I tried the install of TWRP with the .zip but it again says "Signature verification failed" I am trying right now to fix the error:closed on ADB so I might be able to fix it that way.
I have tried out the TWRP.zip installation but it doesnt work for verification error. I used http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=997180 to sign the zip but it still comes up with a verification error. I also installed the SDK but I still receive error:closed when trying to run adb commands.
