GPlayMusic fullscreen and wallpapers - Nexus 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

So I've been doing some poking around and I've come to love Google's full screen album art during music playback but I also now want to have a different wallpaper than my lock screen.
I'm on CM 11 and there is no option within to get what I want done
And while using apps like go ex locker I can get the separate wallpapers but then I lose the album art during playback
Tldr; is there a way to get a different wallpaper on lock and home screen while keeping full screen album art during playback?

[APP][2.1+] Current Wallpaper

A very simple app that displays the current wallpaper in a standalone app.
It is somtimes useful to display Live wallpapers in fullscreen without conflicting elements from the launcher or app icons.
Personally, I'll use this app to display music visualization Live wallpapers on Google TV. Google TV honeycomb leak allows you to set a live wallpaper, but has no way to view it. Of particular interest is Epic Audio Visualizer and the ongoing port of milkdrop (projectm).

[Live Wallpaper] Last.fm Collage Wallpaper

My first app!
Being a new user I can't post any links, so I will edit this post later.
Search the market for "Last.fm Collage Wallpaper"
This live wallpaper displays the top albums or artists from your Last.fm profile, as a nice collage image.
Features include:
- Show a collage image as the wallpaper, based on your Last.fm user profile
- Choose whether to use images from top albums or top artists
- Choose the time period - from 7 days to overall (e.g top albums in the last six months)
- Image is updated automatically once a week, or manually
Notes:
- The last.fm username must be configured before this wallpaper could be set.
- Image creation could take 10-30 seconds
very nice.
Don't really use live wallpapers, but I really dig this. thx!!

Most of the Live wallpapers I've downloaded and I liked best is the Asteroid Belt Free.
It's good to watch it specially when the Tablet is in action. Idled for at least 5 minutes, then the screen closes/dim and when you open the tablet, you'll see on it's locked postion acts as a screensaver.
Cool!

Hi Guys,
it's kind of irritating when the wallpaper i set gets crop off certain parts. ie, the hands or something. the wallapaper juz wun fit into the potrait and landscape mode perfectly. is there a way where i can juz set everything to be shown as it is, esp in potrait mode? (i seldom use landscape).
Wallpaper wizardrii app with 'stretch portrait' setting is working much better for my portrait ready resolution wallpapers. the system default wallpaper tool seems a bit flakey, works sometimes but not others.

I tried the wallpaper cropping apps for my nookcolor and they weren't that great and not easy to use.
What I use now is Quickpic, which I also use as my default gallery app. It allows you to set portrait or landscape wallpapers and cropping is easy, with no degradation of image quality.
ok noted. thanks guys!

[Q] How to create a scrollable wallpaper?

I have an HD panorama picture and I'd like a way to turn it into a wallpaper all viewable so that at each time one part of the pic is shown as I scroll the apps screen. There are plenty of those kinds of wallpaper out there, like Paperland Live (Google play) for example. So, how can I create one?

A way to crop/drag when setting video as lockscreen background?

When setting a video as the lockscreen background (doable in the Gallery app since the Oreo upgrade), is there a way to crop or drag the image/video around to get it centered better on my lockscreen? Right now when I click on the three dots, set as wallpaper, it just automatically uses the direct center of the video, which sometimes cuts out parts of the image/video I want.
