Hey all,
I work at a small web/advergames company in Brazil, and sometimes we get to develop pure entertainment games in our spare time.
I was proudly responsible for our first Android game, Minihunt!!
EDIT: unfortunately I can't post images yet, but you can check out screenshots and a video at minihuntgame com
The game is supposedly a fresh, original idea. I tried to keep away from recycling old formulas, and came up with a simple game where you need to swipe sand away to find and stun tiny bugs. All bugs in the stage need to be stunned at once for you to clear the stage.
The original concept, game design, level design, and story are all my creation. Art was made by a friend of mine and his girlfriend, and my girfriend was the sole programmer for the entire game
It is 100% free, and I would love for you to try it out and comment if possible. Any criticism is very welcome also.
It requires the free Adobe Air plugin installation (also available on the market)..
Get it directly from the market or check out a video and download the free soundtrack and more at minihuntgame com

Hi everyone!
We launched our first android application about week ago. It's Dropozoid game (analogue of existing game for another mobile platform). Nothing special, but helps to spend time well.
I just wonder how popular is such kind of games now and how much sales can we expect without a big ad-investments. And how often does it make sense to make updates? Maybe it would be better to distribute first one for free?
I"ll be appreciate for any suggestions or comments. Thanks!
Hi all!
We're planning updates on next week. It will include:
- separated control of sounds and music
- motion improvements
- attempt to improve images quality for some display types
- post to top-score and connection error handling improvements
I hope these all make Dropozoid little better. Everyone is welcome to get pre-release to try (if you already installed the game, it will be free) - just send request to google+community "dropozoid".
Thank you all for feedbacks.
Hi everybody.
The update is already on market.

Hi,
This is my first try at making games : *play.google.com/store/search?q=oobtux%20games&c=apps&hl=en or search for oobtux games in google play
I have created 5 games (free + paid version) from scratch:
- Numm
- Numm +
- Numm x
- bibodoo
- C.ubX
I am currently working on my next "batch" of games but it would be good to get some feedback beforehand...
Please leave some constructive feedback and if you see any bugs please let know (unfortunately, I have limited resources to find them all).
I have very recently become addicting to game making - I really enjoy it and get great satisfaction when played but I am still at the learning stage (serious hobby) and I need to learn from my mistakes.
But overall, what do you think?
I published my first game namely <<"sailor nemo" >> on google play store after seven -month work.
it is a platform and run-game with amazing impressions and scenes
but there is a problem which I did never guess:
very few people know about my game.
I would appreciate if you could tell me how can I increase the number of downloads.?
thanx in advance
you need to post about it on forums, maybe try to get some reviews on review sites, try to advertise on facebook (they give away free advertisement credits initially) etc etc
Hello XDA Community!
As this is my first post here - first, some information about me.
My name is Tomasz (Tom / Thomas). I am a programmer in medium-sized company located in Torun, Poland. I've started my adventure with Android few months ago, when I have bought my first smartphone with green robot OS.
I wanted to introduce to all of you my first Android game - Color Mania. The rules of this game are quite simple: you have to click on the brighter shade of the same color. Everytime you choose correct, you gain some additional time. Every fifty correct choices you gain another extra time but you have to be careful - one mistake and game is over.
From the technical side - it is an effect of my four hours work with LibGDX and still needs some work. All graphics was made by me with Inkscape. It is inspired by two, currently popular games - Flappy Bird and Timberman. Something like "Hello World".
As I am used to iteration-based work, I wanted to publish this game as soon as possible, counting on some feedback from users. I hope that, you - as more experiences Android programmers will write some advices, tips (maybe about app promotion or UX?).
I have no right to post outside URL-s, so you have to remove all spaces from below link and add 'h' letter to the prefix. Sorry!
Google Play store: ttps://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.to_dev.color_mania.android
Screens are available at the Google Play store (and project site to which link you can find at Google Play).
Please, do not hesitate to comment, rate and post advices!
Thank in advance,
Tommus
Good idea but it's not very addictive... It's just plain and quite frankly... Boring and I'd advise you to find a better name since there are popular apps with the same name
