this is because of 'reboot recovery'. Which starts cwm again.
use power off instead
i had patched sa77_recovery in system/bin

same with power off
after power off, i turned my phone on and it booted to cwm automatically!
sorry for my bad english!
works perfectly
for those with issues regarding boot looping into cwm advanced->power off . and turn on by using power key again and donot hold volume key while led glows.
Hehe you made the "impossible", possible. Nice work mate
Thanks bro!
Working great! And I doesn't mind that its dancing! Its so good that we have cwm!!:highfive::good:
The only thing that I missing is the "fix permission" option. I hope that it will be there in the future :silly:
Thanks for your hard work bro!

By the way, not sure if it's a bug or not. Right before I add cwm to my hh, I'm using the USB tethering. But after install it, I can't connect with it. I've restart my HH to make sure and I still can't connect. Now I'm using wifi tethering. Is there anybody has the same problem or just me?
Is nandroid backup working here?
Since a lot of people on this forum are new to this some instructions as how to go about to install this would not be wrong....

1. We can utilize latest format of updater/update scripts... while flashing....

3. Better and faster....

follow this... (2.1 original rom)
1. download full dump, link available in signature..

Hi!
I'm tried to install the cyanogenmod on my sony live with walkman. I follow the steps of the tutorial anda after run
fastboot -i 0xfce flash boot boot.img
The device does not start anymore but the log is ok and have no errors in this process.
So, i wanna know if the CLOCKWORK recovery is installed together with the boot.img and if yes, how do i proceed to access the clockwork?
Thanks
so what exactly is you problem? is the boot loader unlocked ?
what kernel and rom do you have?
if you have cwm, when the boot logo appears and there is a purple light, press the power button and volume up

they had recoveries with the .75(the latest ICS firmware) version, which was ICS.After the JB update there is no fully working recovery, the one termobulbulator posted is the only one booting.
tl;dr there is no recovery atm.The last recovery was for the last version of ICS.

Dear developer, as you know this device has not separate room in bootloader for recovery.img and this is a big issue. For now I find this solution to do onandroid backup and to flash the CWM with flashtool when I need a system restore... this is a little annoying, but works. Anyway if you could create a CWM recovery for JB stock kernel I'll be the first interested in testing it (may be one recovery.tar in /system/bin...???) Please!

Ok, Mr gavster26, you are the cool ruler of Xperia J, and you really know what's going on with CWM recovery for the device! But although we have yet CWM and TWRP recovery for J none of these developers it is able to fix permanent recovery on stock rom, yet. I have idea that this will be not possible as there is no separate room for recovery in bootloader. Maybe I am wrong but as I am noob just you are, I asked to Doomlord if he will help us to solve the problem, sorry for this but I'm not spammig at all, in any case.

I have a rooted Xperia J running stock JB with locked bootloader that has no working cwm/twrp recovery (I tried CWM 6.1 and I'm getting a black screen, since the same issues seems to be happening for others in the TWRP thread I haven't tried testing that). I cannot install the adrenaline script without CWM/TWRP. So to answer your question, yes it would be great if the J had a working recovery on stock JB however I have a locked bootlader so I cannot install custom ROMs/kernels if I understand correctly what I read so far. CWM did work on stock rooted ICS (version ending with 7.5).
Please do let me know if there is anything I can do to help you with testing without bricking my phone

Hi S7562, S7562L and S7560M users,
This is my attempt to build the latest version of TWRP available today. It seems to be working but there may be some bugs. So any help with testing would be nice. You can flash it using CWM or old version of TWRP recovery. Don't forget to take full backup of your phone before experimenting with this.
Download link: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24533103863140324
If you don't have any version of CWM or TWRP installed you can flash the following file using ODIN.
Download link: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24591000424944232
Big thanks to:
* TWRP team for their excellent work.
* @jonypx09, @m4jonez for S7560M & S7562 device tree for CM11.
* @KlinkOnE for his support of S7562 and his great kernel.
* @balindam bajpai, @billysam, @pavlepiramida, @joshclaudio and all other users for testing and feedback.

Everything is working.
Tried this recovery. Everything works great - file flashing, wiping, formatting. File manager also works without problems. No bugs found. But maybe you noticed the screen turns noisy before the TWRP splash screen. Great work @kengnatural.

Do you restart and boot into the stock rom after flashing twrp? If yes, try to reboot into recovery just after flashing using phone buttons. Don't allow the stock rom to load. It rewrites the custom recovery.
Thanks! The Unofficial TWRP 3.0.2 works great in my Gt-S7562 but still, I hope you try to fix the one second noisy screen before startup of TWRP
