hii all i am megatron007 from canvas hd forum now i will be working wid degrus for canvas doodle 2 roms from now these forum will be with a lots of rom thanx 1 rom is releasing today cheers !! :highfive:

Can you also provide original firmaware and steps to install it in case i want to get back to original rom after installing custom rom.

Not able to flash custom rom on my canvas doodle 2 when tries it gave error .i am not able to find wipe davlic cache option in recovery mode even after rooting the phone. Can this be the reason? If yes than how to solve it. Thanks in advance.

Have you Installed CWM Recovery ?
If no... please install it via SP Flash Tools or MobileUncle..
Recovery.img is attached here....
Steps to be followed:-
1. Download Recovery.img and copy to root of phone.
2. Install Mobile Uncle Tools from Google Play store
3. Select Flash Recovery From SdCard option from MobileUncle Tools
4. Select Recovery.img... Flash... Reboot...
5. Enjoy new freedom... for flashing custom rom's.

Problems which I faced is the pure white keyboard ; camera not working ; audio profile not working

dark side expera ultimate rom not working. noting happens after installing rom it does not go beyod the experia logo.

Do you have Stock rom?
If yes...
Flash it via latest SP Flash Tool...
1. Switchoff your phone..
2. Open SP Flash Tools..
3. Select scartter file... from stock rom folder
4. select firmware upgrade option..
5. click on download...
6. now attach your phone with computer.. don't switch it on....
7. if you have all drivers installed .. i.e. mtk65xx pre-loader, vcom drivers... then flashing shuould start and complete in 5 mins....
8. keep your box of phone handy along with MTK Droid Tools 2.5.3 as you may need to restore your IMEI number...

I found following problems in the ROM:
1. Resolution of camera is limited to 6M
2. Camera not detecting internal SD so not working.
3.not able to install any app from play store because of SD card prob.
4. On boot first Sony xperia z2 is shown than boot logo of doodle comes if logo of doodle can be removed than it will look great.

Kindly help me in installing mtk driver. First I will like to confirm that can I use them in windows 8. Problem I am facing is when I connected my phone in switch off condition mtk preloaded was flashed in device manager but as soon as charging starts it disappeared.

1. Install these drivers... VCOM first... before connecting your device... and use MT65xx to upgrade drivers if you see your device already installed on device manager
2. Click Install drivers anyway... if you get a security prompt...
3. completely switch off... device... wait for 2 minutes...
4. Start SP Flash Tools... Load Scartter File....
5. Select.. Firmware Upgrade... click download...
6. Attach phone to pc... now all should be fine....
7. windows 8 should not be a major issue... i have win 7... but yes... can not test it... so can not promise...

Will you remove the bugs in your rom and repost it. I really like the interface of your ported rom.

I have installed the Darkside Zyvex rom and it runs great.
UI is very good,feels like using kitkat but there are some bugs like the audio profiles does not open, camera app not working and the icons are a little big and also apps don't move to SD card. Please can you fix them?

When multilanguage ROM will it be available?

Before you guys shoot me down, Just wanted to say, i searched XDA for 2 hours, couldn't find the exact reply. And a few topics are open since a year with no reply, So thinking that someone will reply to me. I am opening this "Need Help" Ticket.
I have a micromax a110 with 4.04 - as i got no update ever! So what i did was
Rooted the phone properly as per the procedure.
Downloaded the CWM 6.0.4.9 recovery [selinux] and flashed it with Recovery Link :http://forum.xda-developers.com/mic...opment/recovery-cwm-6-0-4-9-recovery-t2789175
Downloaded the [ROM][4.2.2] CanvaS5™ V1.1 Link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2775553
After flashing the rom properly, when i reboot the phone, it gets stuck on the boot screen forever. Am i doing something wrong? Should i have flashed a kernel? or something. Please note, i am not looking into going back to stock, as i have moved into the dark side of the root world .
Since i have just been a Read-only user of XDA for all this while(more than a year), with no posts ever, i cant request for help on the Developer Thread as it requires privileges. That Recovery you flashed is SELinux enabled and is not supported by 4.1-4.2.2 Jelly bean Roms so you have got boot loop . You can try other recovery or flash higher android version roms .

Since your phone is not booting you should use SP Flash tool on PC to flash the recovery. Here's a guide to SP Flash tool:

Thanks dude, for your quick response. I wont be able to confirm on this today as setting up SP Flash tool is just too hard. It talks about some scatter file. I dont know how to make that.Let me get a grip on that, will confirm then. Thanks for the help anyhow

Great , Here the link for official Jelly bean update for your device by micromax as said in that post . I think that file has scatter file (it contains your phone's storage partition info ) . There is also guide to flash using SP Flash tool . Use it .

Hey shreyas,
I have tried it with SP tools, it doesnt work, man. Drivers, Softwares, updated all of them, i keep doing everything. I know i am doing something wrong, but its hard to identify, spent like the entire night trying to make it. Can't i get a flashable zip for CMW instead or know that on which rom did the CWM selinux work on? This boot looping is now killing :fingers-crossed:

Finally, i found a way, thanks 4Shreyas for all the help. Gave me knowledge and helped me identify the errors.
I couldn't flash the rom or the cmw recvoery through the pc as the drivers for SP tools never worked on my Win 8.1 x64. Finally applied the stock jellybean file from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2160609 . It updated my CMW since that was the problem i was stuck in bootloop.
After that i flash the phone with my desired rom.
In the end, all good:laugh:

Cheers bro !!!! Yes getting MTK drivers in win 8 is a challenging task and as SELinux CWM recovery is concerned you can flash 4.3.x and 4.4.x roms . Google it , if any rom is available then use that recovery to flash those roms .

True that, i actually gave up trying to find the drivers. There arnt any 4.3 or 4.4.x roms released for mmx. When they do, will surely apply the Selinux CWM. Thanks for all the help .:good:

You need to have H6 base. And. This is not rom.. But only deodexed systemapps that flashable

actualy.. i already make flashable H6 deodexed stock... so.. i flash it without any reset and it work.. and no forceclose! ... so.. id like to upload it for you,,, but.. i will upload it later. pm me so i can remember and just can replay to you the link.. ok?..
btw i use tool for deodex the H6.. first attempt it works! .. ok pm me.. i try to upload!:good:
And remember! to make sure everything work fine.. pls flash stock H6 then after flashing again just pull battery out... and insert it and put device to download mode!.. then flash philz or cwm (I RECOMMEND PHILZ) after that unselect the auto reboot in the odin.. then after odin say PASS... just hold the volume up + menu + power button... if after it reboot to recovery it like flashing automatically and it rebooted.. then do the combination again.. and after philz up.. flash H6 Base ( FIRST!! ) then flash supersu zip.. ( Latest one have the binary fixed.. search on there thread) after that reboot!.. and.. I'm sure it will work!.. cause i did it!.. OK GOOD LUCK

Will add link later.. And again.. This is not a Rom! This just deodexed /system/app , /system/priv-app , , /system/framework !
So. You need H6 Base .. After install stock and install cwm or philz. Just flash the zip i made..

Finally Lava Iris X1 CWM ready!!(PORTED)

Lots of people were asking to build a cwm for iris x1...well now guys ur cwm is ready...
Thanks to patenpisan,ajaz35,n but obviously me ...
Procedure to flash recovery:-
1)root your mobile.. (If you don't know what is rooting then u should google it first)
2)download flashify app from play store.
3)give the app root permission.
4)backup your current recovery & boot.img through it.(*important)
5)now go to flash option & select recovery there...the window will pop-up asking to choose a file or dwnld custom recoveries...
6)select choose a file...browse n select your downloaded img....
7)then select file way...
8)nw app will ask you whether to flash file or not....click yup! There..
9)Taaaadaaa....reboot your phone to recovery by pressing power button+volume down (power button first when mobile will vibrate immediately press volume down)
10)nw u successfully flashed cwm on iris x1

If anyone finds a bug rather Dan screen blinking(*I mean when we reboot our phn to cwm n scroll down the menu will divided n wen backing up ROM or flashing or anything the screen blinks n not so stable) den post it..we will clear DAT bug...

But we are already rooted and these binaries mess up with already existing binaries
So don't fix root permissions.

Don't use fastboot method...I mentioned procedure...go with that procedure....!!

I am successfully flash the cwm and go the recovery mod
but there is a problem when I try to backup or anything else on cwm mod the screen is divided (what should I do sorry I don't know English properly). every time on cwm mod screen is divided two part

that is the only graphical glitch in the cwm
But it is working fully.
U an use it until the issue is fixed.

Lyf flame 6 ls 4005 backup stock rom flash to fastboot

Flame 6 Flash by Fastboot Method....I'm Searching official firmware online there is no available ...
FLame 6 also not pre-installed play store.so i trying root and flash gapps .and then i m factory reset
setup screen cannot finish.. becoz flame 6 not gapps thats the problem... i already backup from flashfire apk
so im here share my backup rom. pure Official with rooted.
steps:
1.extract all files in fastboot folder see attachment like that
2.Goto fastboot mode volume down +power then android logo comes afeter volume up hold +power single press see to reboot bootloader
3.fastboot folder hold shift and right click open cmd here
4.type fastboot devices shows that model
5.then come to fastboot folder double click the flash all.bat file then automatic run flashing to ur mobile wait 10 min
finished type fastboot reboot to phone ..Enjoy dont forget to hit thanks.....:good:

it has been successfully flashed in my Flame 6 its very easy. again thank u for this Fastboot file. but the ROM hasn't rooted.
In my way I did root my flame 6 by kingroot and also install Gapps successfully by replacing method
can any one make custom recovery for this mobile

This ROM hasn't rooted ! ,this is fully unrooted ROM you can be root after Flash this ROM

I did place the Gapps one by one,
required gapps;
1.'google-framework-services.apk'
2.'google-account-manager.apk'
3.'Google Play Store.apk'
4.'Google Play Services'
