[Q] Problem With Sony Live With Walkman - General Questions and Answers

Hi!
I'm tried to install the cyanogenmod on my sony live with walkman. I follow the steps of the tutorial anda after run
fastboot -i 0xfce flash boot boot.img
The device does not start anymore but the log is ok and have no errors in this process.
So, i wanna know if the CLOCKWORK recovery is installed together with the boot.img and if yes, how do i proceed to access the clockwork?
Thanks

so what exactly is you problem? is the boot loader unlocked ?
what kernel and rom do you have?
if you have cwm, when the boot logo appears and there is a purple light, press the power button and volume up

I cant enter on recovery (cwm). I think that it isn't installed. How do i install it now? If you are sure that cyanogenmod already has cwm, how do i access it?

actually cyanogenmod doesn't have cwm, the kernel does. Make sure your kernel is compatable with cm10

[Q] No network service on CM10 flashed Xperia J

Hello guys,
Need help!
Flashed my Xperia J with CM10, FXP212.
Problem: I don't get network service.
Bluetooth and WiFi seem to work fine.
Thanks for any help
Edit: (If this helps in anyway) I dont see the FreeXP logo on startup, instead I get a green colored battery logo with the LED glowing red and then the CyanogenMod logo.
Edit 2:
I tried restoring the stock ROM from my backup.
The CWM recovery screen says restore complete. So I say" reboot now". It vibrates and then there is nothing on the screen except for the LED glowing red.
So I remove & re-insert the battery. Switch it on, but I can only enter recovery on purple LED glow. It always enters recovery.
So all I am able to do now is enter recovery and nowhere from there
What am I doing wrong?? Help guys!
Try to fastboot the kernel from the previous release.

Hi saitri,
Thanks for the reply.
There was no network lock on the stock ROM.
Maybe I miss something here. What exactly is network lock?
JL.93 said:
Maybe I have the solution! Try this:
1) Flash stock rom ICS
2) Flash CM10's kernel with Flashtool
3) Various wipe
4) Flash CM10 with CWM
Fixed?

I can't boot in. It always enters recovery. Tried restoring the stock ROM from my backup but didnt work, It doesnt boot. So I press the 'Vol Up' key and it enters recovery.
What might have gone wrong here??

Hi saitri,
U can flash a stock ROM, either ICS or JB using flashtool. Your phone will be unrooted. Bootloader remains unlocked.
You can then root it and install any other custom ROM. Though I havent installed a custom ROM yet after flashing the stock ROM.
Will let you know when I do it. Meanwhile you can flash a stock ROM. Let me knw if u need any assistance.
All those who replied: Thanks for your support and time.

This is working cwm for jb!
If you have unlocked bootloader,no need to install cwm... just flash boot.img (you can find in my mediafire folder in signature) . Cwm is included! boot.img is kernel for custom rom cm10! Without him you get bootloop!

Problem with Fastboot

Hey I've been trying to flash kernel via fastboot mode in flash tool but I'm facing a strange problem... Flashtool drivers have been installed properly so don't tell me to install drivers again... Flashmode works perfectly, I can flash ftf files but in fastboot it shows the error as shown in the pictures.... If anyone knows what could be the cause behind this, do let me know.... Thanks.

What is the version of android you have in D2203? 4.4.2 or 4.4.4?
If you can not send by FlashTool then you try to use adb.
Go to the folder FlashTool \ x10flasher_lib.
Copy the img file to that folder and then open a command window and you execute the following command: fastboot flash boot xxxxxxxxx.img

Hey I was able to solve the problem.... I just restarted the computer... Then it detected fastboot mode too... And I flashed the latest AOSP build but it's still unstable... Camera isn't there and dull display. Rest all fine, wifi, network, bluetooth, wake up from lockscreen.
PS. in order to flash the AOSP rom, you need the new open device bootloader.... flash that first and then flash the AOSP rom and it'll boot up

Xperia tipo dual bricked after installing custom rom.

I flashed using cwm a custom rom (http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-j-e/development/xperia-z1-rom-tipo-dual-lb-ulb-users-t2927997) , specifically the S.P.3. I followed the installation as advised but after the installation finished when I rebooted the system wouldn't power on. The only thing it does is it vibrates as if it would power on and simultaneously the litlle light flashes green for one sec. I chose the intuise kernel and most xperia z1 settings. I ve got a nandroid backup but how can i flash it?
do you have an unlocked bootloader?

if your bootloader is locked, then you can't choose a custom kernel from the installer, i am the rom dev and i mentioned this problem specifically, and i said: if your bootloader is locked, then please choose "Stock kernel" in the installer, and i wrote it in big font.
now you need to re-flash stock rom using flashtool, and then proceed with rom installation again, and choose "Stock kernel" in the installer.
i hope this helped :good:
Thanks I have already manage to reflash using flash tool but it was a bit difficult as the only roms it recognizes are the .ftf ones. Anyway thanks.
