Hi all, I have installed in i9003 via Odin DDLF2, when downloading Odin reported an error, I guess I made a mistake because I disconnected the phone from the cable and remove the battery. I wanted to give back to download mode and try again, however the phone does not respond when you connect the USB nothing, not charging. I was looking at the XDA forum board and I tried everything. only thing that works is when I start Odin, connect the phone via USB without battery and battery, and Windows will list window, the last connected USB device is not recognized, you know tell me what should I do?

One last chance is to use the USB JIG.

Yes,a lot of effort required ,to make our own one because of the USB. It's not the same position pin as the guide. Better buy the right one would be. :good:

so I bought a USB Jig, did not help, I took the phone to a service, they told me that there is pocketed board. I guess I will have to say goodbye to my Galaxy SL, thank you for your advice. :crying:

Hi everyone,
My friend brought me a SS captivate at&t, it gotting bootloop AND PC DOES NOT RECOGNIZE EVERYTHING ABOUT it, recovery mode not work. i tried everything but no result, different oem usb cables, different pc with different os, it just charged the phone, nothing else. (not because of driver, my cappy works fine with these pc). I sent it to a few repair center, they used the Riff box (something like that) to flash direct to phone's mainboard but couldnt save it. Now it still hanging in at&t logo and just only charging when connecting to pc
Many thanks to any ideas can make it revive. Im in Vietnam with no at&t store here. Sorry about my bad english. Please help me!

I was trying to return my Infuse 4G back to stock using Odin3 but for some reason mid way through it, it said my phone had disconnected even though it wasn't touched at all. Now it wont boot up, go into recovery or anything I push the power button and theres nothing no sign of life :O but I can still put it into download mode but everytime i do that and i go to odin3 and start running the process <ID:0/004> factoryfs.rfs <<<< when it gets right there it says my device was removed again. then it just keeps repeating device added, device removed.... I tried 2 different USB ports. Someone please help? Sorry if this isn't the correct spot for this.

my solution was to use a different usb cable and a different port on my computer..
and my usb cable was brand new ..but wouldnt work..trust me try new cable and different port

So true well i just got it to work... and how i got it to work is pretty unique, I think someone is playing a joke on me... I had to plug the phone in put it into download mode and hold it over my head... when I did that there were no connection problems.. had to do it for the full 4 minutes it took to reset the phone. anyways thanks again!

i would say that it is probably the contacts in usb cable ...glad you got it to work!!

first of all it was working all good with jvu saurom port then out of curiosity i decided to go for jbparanoid,
after that everything is good but i decided to go back to gb(jvu saurom port) i cant seem to load it to red cwm after flashing the port of jvu,
so i tried formating /system/cache/data still no red nor regularbootup
stupidity strikes i decided to format boot :crying: there i got the samsung logo but wont even start to boot nor i cant access blue or red cwm :crying::crying:

Try pulling the battery then put battery in and hold volume up and volume down then plug in USB cable and see if it goes into download mode. If it doesn't the ONLY two things that will possibly work is a USB jig or getting a memeber who can JTAG it and recover it for you.

Sometimes it's just a matter of waiting and perseverance. Try disconnecting your phone from the computer, taking the battery out, leaving it for 10 mins. & then coming back and trying again.

Ok thanks will try that im taking every advice i can get my other option is go back to at&t if not ill get jig online ill take out the battery right now. Sad thing about it my laptop nor pc wont recognize it tried a bunch of drivers and removed a bunch too

do you get any kind of error message when you try to connect the phone.... I had a similar problem and had to redownload the drivers ..... then was able to get the computer to recgonize the phone... the other issue you might have is a bad USB cable.

Its installing as unknown device and sometimes it cant read it

Good that at&t send you new one bro, but mine before have a problem totally bricked samsung vibrant and my samsung infuse which has power button problem i send it to here http://mobiletechvideos.mybigcommerce.com/ is fast shipping and services are amazing, i can't complain to at&t since i bought phones from craiglists before.

yeah im still in warranty so no questions about it they said well rreplace it asap so yeah..lesson learned
Got my new infuse but i think the screen of it (contrast) is kinda off ill look in to in
I've got hard time with my Rogers infuse to get it back to stock rom. it just went completly dead.
I've got a USB JIB from ebay and YES!! my phone is into download mode now but when I plug it into my PC it does not show up. and neither on ODIN. The phone is not working at all I need to remove the battery and put the usb JIG to get it into download mode and that the only thing that I can see or do with the phone. can anyone help me with that please? :crying: All I want is to get it back to stock rom and re-use again my phone

The cable is a longshot. I've had this happen a bunch. It has to do with your drivers. Find the right ones and you will be golden.
For a longshot quickfix, this happens to me if i have my phone plugged into my USB 1.1 port on the front of my PC, as opposed to the USB 2.0 on theback (only when doing a back-to-stock/Download Mode operation).

If you plugged it in to your pc and you get a non-recognition or unkknown usb device, your usb port may be bad.

And you'll lose all your contacts.So make a backup!

I already tried all the method posted here, i changed my windows 7 for windows xp and windows 10, and no result at all. My main problem is that my laptop don´t even show the phone like qhsusb_bulk despite of al the drivers i try. In my case i think that only a kind of JTAG repair might work. I´m so desperate , what can i do?Tkns in advance for your help.

does the phone do anything AT all when u try turn it on? get warm or anything? if not, hold power button for about a minute to make 100% sure (trust me, hold it for a long time) if still so sign of life, put it on charger for about 30 mins and then do the power again. IF STILL no sign, change cable and plug it into pc and if no luck, try different usb slots. and even better, try a different computer.

One plus one will not hard brick, by flashing a wrong modem.. Anyway, please try to do the below steps:
1. Connect your phone to a wall charger(direct A.C current input) and charge it for atleast 16 to 18 hours, since it is not fully charged and used, sometimes it needs power thrust(battery mightve been cold).
2. Download factory image of the original firmware(search in XDA for Timma's guide, to return to opo stock)
3. Follow the procedure given in that guide.
4. If not, after charging, connect the phone in download mode and flash the factory image of the phone, which you have downloaded.
5. If all this fails, it might be a hardware issue, only RMA can help(service center) - if the phone is under warranty...

Cheer Up Dude. There Is A Fix For Hard Bricked Oneplus One By netbuzz.
I too had once hard bricked my 1+1 by flashing a boot logo on cm12.1 and my device wouldn't turn on. When I press the power and volume keys it would only vibrate. I fixed it using netbuzz tutorial.
The fix is that you have to flash Color OS, and then you can flash the stock OS.
I am sorry I still can't submit links. But do check out on Google for the following.

Hope you installed drivers from ColorOS.zip Only and before doing that uninstall all the drivers you had installed for one plus one.

I used that guide several times on Windows 8.1. You don't have to be on Windows XP, there's an extra step to turn on some developer mode though

Yes, for windows 8/8.1/10 you have to disable driver signature for installing thrid party drivers since they are not signed by the processor brands such as intel etc.
Do one thing, shoot a video while doing the process that is explained by netbuzz. Upload it and share the link.
Let us anazlyze what is going wrong.
And i dont mind if you parcel your Oneplus to me. I would be happy to uunbrick it and parcel it back to You.LoL

tbh mate, why would u take ur phone apart if drivers aint detecting lol? yes the battery doesnt look healthy IF it hasnt been taken out before (did u buy it new?) i dont see how a battery would just stop workin after installing a modem though. I had the same issue with my LG G2 with the drivers, turned out i installed them funny (i didnt run as administrator) you lit have to read step by step and make 100% u dont miss a step, and as the bloke said above DELETE OLD DRIVERS AND INSTALL NEW it makes a massive difference. Other than that, no idea pal. My phones cracked, holes on the back casing and battered with custom roms and its never given me a problem
