[REQ] PACman ROM port to Sensation?

ok so I owned an xperia active before I recently got sensation. When I had my xperia, I used a ROM called "PACman".
I dont know if many of you know about it, but its a mix between Paranoid, AOKP and Cyanogenmod.
The ROM gives us many possibilities, and easier choice.
I think many Sensation owners would be glad if it was ported over here.

as i understand, PACman ROM is ParanoidAndroid right? why won't we get it then? we have a great PA development going on :good:

Is there any particular reason that CM10, AOKP or PA are insufficient for you?
I cannot see that there would be a demand for this ROM, as we have the above ROMS all working very well already which cover all bases IMHO.

I understand, but it would be great to combine these, to get a much richer OS, with more choices. :victory:
For instance there are different things you can customize in AOKP than in paranoid.
If you put these together you get more choices, in addition to easier choice between ROMs.
I think bruce2728, frankinstine and DragunKorr should consider working a little together. :fingers-crossed:

agreed lol, but i remember a super stripped down sense miui for the sensation. hypermiui... the battery life on that rom was insane.

Droyd said he is working on it for liquid smooth ROM ad a flash able add on. But has not said when it will happen.

The note 2 is on a other list. Still waiting for the ROM. Ill keep you in touch!

This beta rom is base on hTC 4.1 RUU, still have many bugs, and a lot of UI need to resize for qHD

Now im using it.
Many bugs.
- Trying to select a trusted virus database ends up in a force close
- Top leftbar is misplaced
- USB Mount not working
- Internal Memory in About Phone not showing correctly
- There is no keybord when im trying to write a message.

Is it sense based ? Try opening the camera ?

Verizon S3 4.2.2

I was wondering if anyone knew of a ROM that is 4.2.2 and is just the basics, I tried Liquid Smooth 2.1 but I hated all the settings that you can change. Anyone that could point me in the right direction please do so.

That still has a bunch of settings there is a ROM called Pure Google that is unmodified Android. I have yet to see a basic 4.2.2 AOSP ROM they all have been modified to a degree the ROM I have mentioned is 4.2.1

Yes it is otherwise I wouldn't have mentioned it.

I still think cm10.1 would be the best bet. Its got some settings but they're just handy, stuff like toggles. Plus 10.1 is Gina have recent fixes and such. And honestly I think he official nightlies are your best bet.

Yeah. Cm10.1 is a lot less stuff. Also to get really good battery life and performance, I'd recommend Leankernel 5.3.4exp1.

Give Slim Rom build 3 a try. It's really nice and smooth and PURE AOSP. I really liked how smooth and stable it was, I just missed all the touchwiz features so I didn't end up keeping it. Was a very nice ROM though. Give it a shot.
It's very nice if your looking for vanilla Android.

Slim Bean is very close in options/appearance to Liquid Smooth.

Yeah sorry the predictive texting on swiftkey is overkill sometimes. Lol. The Slim Rom doesn't have any touchwiz features at all. It's pure AOSP. If you want a good touchwiz based Rom try jelly beans. I have also heard that Synergy and clean Rom are some of the nest touchwiz based Roms out there, though i haven't tried them.

CleanROM 6 R2 was a great rom just wanted to get a 4.2.2 that was very similiar

I would recommend to use the official ROM. CM 10 can have many bugs.

CM 10.1 or Carbon, carbon has a little more features

Slim Rom is not even close to pure AOSP. There are innumerable features added, which is why I love it.
There's one pure AOSP ROM, and it's maintained by Joelz. Hadn't been updated since mid January, but is supposedly about to be soon.
But I agree, the OP should go with CM10.1.

As I said, it is not source built. It is a modified JellyTime kernel to run android 4.3 ROMs (eventhough there are none atm).

Because of you I start to port a 4.3 build for DHD

ill start with sgt3 10.1 because that is the device i have and work down from there

Fantastic! The custom ROM's that i would like to keep running don't have touchwish and those which do, have other problems (wifi or gps don't work). So i always end-up going back to stock. A fully functional ROM (like Slim) with touchwiz would be the ultimate (for me at least).
T-310 WiFi 4.2.2.
