Port miui rom

Has anybody thought about porting a miui rom to the epic ? I saw one running on evo and its really nice

I think once a true aosp rom comes along an miui rom shouldn't be too far behind. I have high hopes that if/when google goes to a galaxy series device for their dev phone a lot more interesting things should come our way. Unfortunaltely cdma devices kinda get stuck on the back burner; unless they are made by htc that is

Yeah,he said it himself just look in Epic's theming section "where is bubby323?" thread,he cookin up three roms aosp 2.2,miui and another rom I forgot wat it was.

[Q] MIUI Rom for HTC Sensation

MIUI on this phone would be amazing. Especially being the first dual-core phone from HTC.
What HTC Phone that currently has the MIUI Rom is similar to the system specs of the Sensation? I believe both the EVO and MT4G had ports from the builds for the Nexus, which made them faster and easier to port than to start from scratch.
As I understand, everyone is still waiting for some extra unlocking goodness before the real dirt begins...but this project would probably be the biggest of all over any CM, Vanilla, or Sense ports combined.

Forget MIUI Try this for a Day
Install Go launcher and get the 'THEME Nokia ANNA' by eseth
If you like your sense 3.0 lockscreen get 'AGILE LOCK'
and let me know if you like it

Oh no sir. No no nooo LOL. This is nothing like MIUI. Its not just the GUI (which looks nothing like this combo), but the coding and interface and stability.
MIUI is...a soulful experience. Nothing can compare.

Thats pretty ugly theme. I agreed. We need a MIUI theme. I miss having that on my Nexus One.

u cant compare MIUI with some launcher and themes...
MIUI is the next level of android... and once u use it , u will never like the stock android firmwares...

I'll be eagerly awaiting MiUi!!! Will most likely have to use CM until we get MiUi. That's once we get CM lol. That should be very soon.

I'm hoping we can just get a port from the Xiaomi M1!
The Xiaomi M1 (MIUI Phone) is brings a faster Qualcomm 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, and a 768MB of ROM.

CM is up for Sensation. Just used it this morning to do a backup!

My understanding is that MIUI gets developed based upon the CM build for a particular device. Do you know if that is accurate? Or is that just something which happened before in the past, but is not always the process for all builds?
In any case, I will also be eagerly awaiting some good news from kmobs about a stable CM build for our newly-freed phones :]

It's eyecandy + functionality + speed!!!!
It's a good clean performing ROM just like CyanogenMod but with a different UI and some other differences here and there. People say it looks too iPhone'ish but themes and tweaking can change that. I will admit it takes some good features from the iPhone. Surprised Apple isn't suing them....
I've used both CM and MiUi heavily. Love them both to death but I prefer the eyecandy of MiUi and the functionality more.

Sensation is my first Android phone and it looks like CM7 and MIUI are the most hyped/praised ROM's and I can't wait to try them out when they arrive!

I can't wait for a MIUI Rom for the HTC Sensation! I am in love with the practicality of their ROMS. Does anyone know if there is even confirmation that they are working on one as we speak?

I absolutely agree!!! I can barely look at my sensation without MIUI. I still have a mint condition Glacier with MIUI on it and I use it as my everyday phone still just because of MIUI. It is smoother than my sensation is right now for sure!
BUT don't get me wrong the sensation and MIUI are gonna be a match made in android heaven! They are meant to be together. Until then.... I'll play with whatever other roms are out there.

so effin' true. miui is totally different interface and the experience of it is compelling. i cannot go back to stock android ui...
if they don't make miui stable.. fml.....

[NEWS] Android 4.0 has been ported on ds![Nov 10]

ChunGe(春哥 from goapk) said on his sina weibo,Twitter-like web in China ,that android 4.0 had been ported on ds successfully yesterday .this Rom is based on ics and works fully on ds now . he also said that he couldn't release it right now for some reason ,but would release it asap .

but i think this is a MIUI with ics interface...not pure ics...isn'it?

It has a mixed framework. Ram and cpu management are improved. Will post a benchmark later. Galaxy S2 scored a whooping 5000+ score in quadrant.

This one, but I'm not convinced. I think its 100% fake. They have just modified the build.prop to say 4.01.
Also in 4ext recovery it said my current Rom was libra_saga-userdebug 2.3.7

In youtube look the same with MIUI... so i think its only framework...

I'm calling fake to or maybe some of ics ported over but I see nothing from ics so even if its not fake no real point

taste some of them and see what suits best for you

Look, There is no "best ROM"... What I think is the best ROM is the ROM that works best for me, but that doesnt mean that that ROM will work best for you because everyone uses their phone in different ways. My suggestion would be to try out a few ROMs then pick which you think is the best, not what anyone tells you is the best - its far too subjective for that sort of thing.

For me it's Viper S, although this question should not be asked. By making questions like this you don't show appreciatio for the devs work

You are limiting yourself if you don't try out several different roms and see what's available, see what fits your need best. To find that out you must experience for yourself the different roms. Then and only then will you truly know what's your favorite. This is the fun part, the experiments. I hope you take my advice and try several before you make any decision. I wish you the best. Don't sell yourself short, try out many different roms, then decide which is best for your daily rom. Good luck and have fun!

Chill dude..i just rooted my phone..so far ive installed cyanogen 9.1 and dark sense...tnx for the advice anyway¦)

I got this phone from few days and I first installed the cyanogenmod 10 (nightly build of 21 dec). I have to say that I really like it.
After that I saw that there are some mods (I think?) of the cyanogen, like codename Lungo.
Can somebody explain briefly the differences of these roms with the base cyanogenmod?

Is it jellybean or ICS...I heard that it is not official yet..but u can still install it..but the cons is that there are bugs...am I right to say that..?

They use as base Cyano or AOSP then devs add Some features

Rom is very stable and I am using as a daily driver. Gapps are installed in this port because I had to work to find all the correct files
that would work with this port. With that said, feel free to try any others you may want but be warned that some may cause issues so keep
track of what you flash or change.. JB Control panel is installed. Also I left both the legacy camera and the miui camera installed and the
legacy gallery and miui gallery.. feel free to remove whichever you want or keep them all it's up to you..
I will start a thread in the Q&A forum for rom discussion and to post any non development related issues and questions...

Erikmn....I like the ROM...been using slim since the first one out. You dropped this so Ivan trying it too. Kudos to you and the Dev team..live the ROMs... please sort this one out as it is really a good one....

i thought he changed his name to racing 19969...sorry,,,pardon me but now that i have your attention i am getting numerous fc with messages and miui.us laucher...dont wanna change the rom maybe i will wait to flash but i like the change as the roms though tweaked are still similar in alot of ways,,,,

Random speaker issue when receiving or making call I can’t hear the sound. 3 or 4 times it happen any one ells have this problem. Thanks

Sorry, have been busy with other things, primarily trying to get a booting 10.1 kernel..
