Hey guys, I was just wondering if anyone knew if the firmware for 4.4 KitKat was available yet? I had an incident where I had my phone rooted on 4.2.2 before the OTA update to 4.4 rolled out and I accidentally accepted the OTA, accidentally soft bricking my phone. Long story short, I now have to manually update every time an update comes out. I've been using sbf.droid-developers.or g, but they don't have it yet. If anyone knows where I could find the package, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!
Look in the general forum. A couple of threads have links.

I have a question about my phone. I'm running a custom ROM and the update for Gingerbread is out. Now since my phone was in my pocket I didn't realize the message popped up to update it and now it's downloading the new update. Can I stop it? If so how. Or should I let it download? Or will that brick my phone? Thanks for the help. Using a Droid X by the way.

no worries, the update will just fail to install
no problem
Thanks guys! Now one more question. I am ultimately trying to go back to stock so I can get Gingerbread. Since I'm using ROM Manager(I've only used two ROMs), I use the oldest date to restore my phone back to "stock" root correct? And then do I use Z4 root to "un"-root my phone? Appreciate it. (Droid X btw).
Howdy fellas,
Long story short: I unlocked my TF300 without realizing ASUS would hate me afterwards and refuse to give me OTAs. Thus, I'm looking for a painless way to flash the Jelly Bean update in CWM. Is there a zip floating around out there somewhere? I looking through the General and Android dev sections but came up empty handed.
Thanks, guys.

Try Cyanogenmod 10 @ http://get.cm/?device=tf300t
Ok so I recently switched back to my Nexus S only to realise that it never recieved the OTA for Jelly Bean. Ive tried the google services framwork method, and had no luck. Ive seen the manual method but have not tried it because I am not experienced at all with flashing and so on. Is there another way of recieving the update? And if not could someone provide a detailed way of flashing the official manual update? Thanks.

Oh Im on the Koodo network, i9020A IMM76D.
Hello, do you connect the Wifi ?
So ive searched the web and here and couldnt find the answer to my question but i recently got a replacement nexus 5 and it hasnt recieved the ota for 5.1. I was trying to find out why? I got it right before 5.1 was released so i understood why i didnt get 5.0 but still no dice, i understand i can sideload it myself but ive had issues with that before. Any help is appreciated.
first off... there is no 5.1 yet, second off you will get OTA after some time or side load the update details in the forum easily searchable, and thirdly question in the questions forum.
I've searched but not well enough I guess, but does anyone know if there has been a software update that has come out? Mine is still running the original jellybean since the day I got it. I'm rooted and I would hate to unroot just to find that there is no update.
Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.
No AT&T peeps out there??
