HELLKAT for the Galaxy SLC!!!!
HellKat is CM11 based with a completely redone beautiful Holo Red theme. You'll probably notice a difference between HellKat and CM nightlies (or the virgin AOSP builds) due to the LINARO 4.8 toolchain we use to compile the ROMs. HellKat was first created by DerTeufel during Jellybean and was called Hellybean. We now support several devices and with a new build server we will be able to bring this beautiful ROM to even more devices. If you have another device supported by CM you more than likely can build HellKat for your other device. We have a nice build script so that the hardest part of building HellKat is setting up Ubuntu and an Android developing environement. Checkout our sources at http://github.com/Hellybean

....abnormal! Okay. Give the battery at least 2 full electric shock within 48 hrs. Everything will be fine, nice and smooth. This is a hell lotta good rom. Staying and enjoying it for now.
using this ROM from first build not facing battery problem, with my 2years old battery, maybe you can replace boot.img from 20131209 CM11 by dhiru for fix 1% battery problem, CMIIW...

Recovery observation:
When reboot to recovery is selected it goes into repeated boot loop and eventually it boots normally if no power supply is present (?). After this boot to recovery works(!).

I discontinue build AOSP+CM version & AOKP version, in exchange :
Ray Jellybean 4.1.2 P?*+Aokp+Cm = PACman
* = PA ready only
ROMs were compiled from source, still based on AOSP+CM source codes
They are considered as a BASE ROM, there won't be much theming & features inside them yet.
You may use & modify these ROM to create your advanced ROM freely.

using this rom for 2 days now, first i want to thank you for this awesome rom.
There are two bugs i could find. The front camera does not work, it just gives fc - and when i connect my smartphone to my computer with samsung original usb-cable the "System-UI" keeps crashing - i have to reboot.
Some queries!
1. Please note that when using tablet mode (applied through PA settings), the pin type secure lock screen is visually misaligned. The problem is visual only. The numbers are in their original positions as far I could judge. (Pattern lock screen is OK)
2. Also as seen in the screenshot the status bar is expanding out of view from right side when locked only. It is normal when it is unlocked.
3. Can anyone please tell me what is meant by the six pairs of zeros near the WIFI icon (00.00.00.00.00.00)? Is it MAC address?. If it is that, then why is it zero?!!!!

I fixed the boot animation issue..
1. Goto aokp settings...then open general....
2. There will be an option 'disable boot animation' ...untick it.
3. Now download a custom boot animation..it should be a zip file..
4. Then using a file explorer , goto system/media
5.then paste the bootanimation.zip in here...name it "bootanimation.zip"
6. Set the proper permission (rw-r-r)
Then reboot... it worked for me...

Awesome ROM , but for me if you try to add a new gmail acc. from settings , its simply crashing settings, Appolo launcher Force Closes all the time , Some times its laggy. and tablet mode is buggy .
When you switch back from tablet mode to normal mode , still GMail App works as in tablet mode .

Lolation can you please add increased steps in volume slider i.e. if for example the volume moves from zero to max in 10 divisions, can you increase them to 20?
Any way to do that if not included in the rom would be appreciated,

This is a very good rom as far as the layouts are concerned. One main thing I observed is that I am not able to install any applications- during app installation the next button not responding to go forward for installation. Lola any fix for this.

Installed this rom..everything is ok no sod or random reboot..the only problem i faced is supersu not working and after swap sd my sdcard1 not detected ..any solution?

Nice snappy ROM, I just need to manage and get iver this SuperSU bug so I can customize the ROM to my needs
It will help if somebody could post a logcat of this SuperSu error.
all other superuser have this same problem
This is for the reason that I changed CM super user by Super SU
directory you can change settings in the super SU and select do not ask
but it is not recommender full rooted thinking back choice settings Super SU on request
Plz fix this SuperUser issue Lola.

@deDante. Its cool. Just flashed over Slimkat. Only clock gave fc and clearing clock data solved it. So far so good. Device is functioning as expected. I'm an old fan of windows8 launcher for its simplicity. This is the first rom with it as default launcher with Browser, Facebook, Line,....ZPlayer. I'm flying high.

hope dhiru will fix some bugs on his new build, this ROM is far from good, need some advice to make it better...
good rom to fly with
A smooth flight for 22 hrs. Fuel gauge showing 17% left. Only one unplanned stop over (SOD) after 9hrs (cm11 does). Wifi is always on to fetch emails. Took some test photographs and videos and happy with it. Made some regular calls and sms. Around 12 hrs noticed that TweetCaster already burned 26% fuel unnecessarily so got to force stop it. Few controls on setting panel are still not included. Specially vibration and button control. However, its a good rom to fly with.
SL God Dhiru has fixed BT and other minor issues.

Wow, 22hours is amazing. Max. I get is 10hours, no matter the rom. Only thing I have enabled is auto sync every hour for weather and mail. Without even touching the phone, it drains over night. Show me your secret please.

Yes I noticed some cm11 rom can stand only for 6-10 hrs. I use battery doctor for optimum charging. That's all.
Thanks sam. I'll check out that battery doctor thing. First thing on agenda is moving to this rom, though.

tQ.. btw.. is it possible to include PA inside this.. its hard for me to change the button size.. as u know that my SL hardbutton didn't work..

HELLKAT for the Galaxy S III!!!!
HellKat is CM11 based with a completely redone beautiful Holo Red theme. You'll probably notice a difference between HellKat and CM nightlies (or the virgin AOSP builds) due to the LINARO 4.8 toolchain we use to compile the ROMs. HellKat was first created by DerTeufel during Jellybean and was called Hellybean. We now support several devices and with a new build server we will be able to bring this beautiful ROM to even more devices. If you have another device supported by CM you more than likely can build HellKat for your other device. We have a nice build script so that the hardest part of building HellKat is setting up Ubuntu and an Android developing environement. Checkout our sources at http://github.com/Hellybean

I've been on 4.4 for ages before finally going back to 4.3. What I can tell you is that 4.4 is pretty damn stable when compared to 4.3. You're just going to have to be used to lower battery life (a flaw existent in most AOSP ROMs).

SlimHue Red theme looks fantastic with this ROM.
This ROM is pretty stable but I keep losing data every now and then which has never happened to me on AOSP ROMs. A reboot fixes it until the next time it happens. Also I installed SuperSU and had root at first then all of a sudden I didn't have root, I had to go into SuperSU and clean up and reinstall. And I got boot looped every time I rebooted, installed BMS kernel and no more boot loops. Other than its a great ROM.

Yeah i always stuck with 4.3 and i was just thinking about going to 4,4 to try it out.

I flashed this ROM last night and for the most part I'm having a good experience. It is very fast. Bluetooth is working better (although I haven't tried it with the car yet).
I cannot get calendars to sync, though. That will be a deal breaker for me. I have seen that as an issue in other 4.4 threads, but am unaware of a fix. Any help would be appreciated.

I couldn't get calendar to sync either, downloaded Google calendar from the play store and it syncs fine.

I love the look of this rom...keep doin your thing....the thing i did diff. is I used https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct...=UARg4s94W1q7A7qFusGckw&bvm=bv.59568121,d.cWc for the gapps....and https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct...PEOgs1v6hJJSooXaA&sig2=0A7-KTaFXg510l8GiaQG1A for the kernel...it works great together
Flashed this on Friday, and was having random reboots on a fresh flash so I had to go back to my other ROM since I was going on a trip and needed navigation.
Decided to try it out again, so I reflashed on Sunday and it's been running just fine - must have just been a bad flash. Keep up the good work!

u should try this kernel with hellkat...maybe it will help u...or u can try (if u didnt ) this wipping the data/reset, cashe, and dalivk after installing the rom

Was running BMS kernel on the bad flash as well - like I said, was probably just a bad flash first time around.

Yeah, I said in my original post I re-flashed it and it worked fine . So wasn't a bad download, just a bad flash.
Been running it since then with minimal problems. A few random hot reboots, but nothing really to complain about.

Flashed it last night - so far so good! Last build had a weird bug where if there was any statusbar change (like a download), it would flash like the whole statusbar was being refreshed. Looks like it's fixed in the 20140228 build though! Love the network up/down speed addition as well! Keep up the good work!
