These INSTRUCTIONS are from scotts CM10
Coming from Froyo(2.2) Gingerbread(2.3) or ICS(4.0)
Obtain CWM, this can be done using Jscotts Odin back to stock (Follow instructions and use SGS kernal flasher to obtain CWM)
Run Qksters IMEI backup script here
Make certain you are on ICS, this can be done by flashing Entropy's CM9
It is recommended now that you remove your SD Card
CWM: Wipe Cache / Factory Reset
Install ROM: Scroll down for downloads sectoion
... The package will start to install..
... Phone will reboot into the install screen again...
... Continue to install [Automatically] If not manually flash again
... Phone will reboot again and be at the recovery screen...

Instructions:
from Gingerbread:
1. Place this release and an ICS gapps release on your SD card.
2. Flash this ZIP in CWM
3. Reboot - you will get stuck at the Samsung screen
4. Reboot to recovery again using the three-finger salute - hold down VolUp+VolDn+Power until the device reboots, release Power after the reboot, continue holding VolUp+VolDn
5. Go to Mounts and Storage and format: system, data, cache
6. Flash this ZIP a second time, then flash gapps
7. Reboot and enjoy
I give jblparisi credit for how to get on this from GB, didnt feel like typing it all
Fix recovery Rainbow/Bootloop coming from GB to ICS
To fix RainBow,
1. Download Odin and BlueRecovert.tar
2. Open odin, for (PDA) select BlueRecovety and click start.
3. It will boot you into bluerecovery (if it boots into recovery you will probably get recovery bootloop), if it doesn't boot then you use the 3 button method... than wipe factory flash ICS reboot!
Fix Bootloop
1. Flash any GB rom
2. Go to advanced> reboot recovery
3. after booting into Red recovery, flash another GB and reboot into recovery.
4. wipe factory, flash any ICS, advanced>reboot recovery
5. wipe factory and re-flash ICS and reboot!
Instructions from ICSor UPDATE

2. Wipe data/Factory reset

I discontinue build AOSP+CM version & AOKP version, in exchange :
Ray Jellybean 4.1.2 P?*+Aokp+Cm = PACman
* = PA ready only
ROMs were compiled from source, still based on AOSP+CM source codes
They are considered as a BASE ROM, there won't be much theming & features inside them yet.
You may use & modify these ROM to create your advanced ROM freely.

using this rom for 2 days now, first i want to thank you for this awesome rom.
There are two bugs i could find. The front camera does not work, it just gives fc - and when i connect my smartphone to my computer with samsung original usb-cable the "System-UI" keeps crashing - i have to reboot.

Some queries!
1. Please note that when using tablet mode (applied through PA settings), the pin type secure lock screen is visually misaligned. The problem is visual only. The numbers are in their original positions as far I could judge. (Pattern lock screen is OK)
2. Also as seen in the screenshot the status bar is expanding out of view from right side when locked only. It is normal when it is unlocked.
3. Can anyone please tell me what is meant by the six pairs of zeros near the WIFI icon (00.00.00.00.00.00)? Is it MAC address?. If it is that, then why is it zero?!!!!

Wohoo...
I fixed the boot animation issue..
1. Goto aokp settings...then open general....
2. There will be an option 'disable boot animation' ...untick it.
3. Now download a custom boot animation..it should be a zip file..
4. Then using a file explorer , goto system/media
5.then paste the bootanimation.zip in here...name it "bootanimation.zip"
6. Set the proper permission (rw-r-r)
Then reboot... it worked for me...
If I helped you pls press the thanks button....it doesn't cost or hurt...

Awesome ROM , but for me if you try to add a new gmail acc. from settings , its simply crashing settings, Appolo launcher Force Closes all the time , Some times its laggy. and tablet mode is buggy .
When you switch back from tablet mode to normal mode , still GMail App works as in tablet mode .

A request?
Lolation can you please add increased steps in volume slider i.e. if for example the volume moves from zero to max in 10 divisions, can you increase them to 20?
Any way to do that if not included in the rom would be appreciated,

Installation instructions so If installing for the first time:
To install this ROM you will need to have an unlocked boot loader and a custom Recovery such as TWRP or ClockWorkMod installed
Copy the downloaded AOSB to your phone.
update recovery, is required for install android kitkat
Boot into your recovery
Back up your ROM
Enter recovery
Make full wipe "included "system"
[*]Select Recommended kernel for first install
Install the ROM
install GAPPS package - download it from here
Reboot - the first boot can take up to 2 minutes
Recommended to Reboot again after ROM is up for the first time
2 second to up ! and 1 second to restart or shutdown ! it is AOSB

sorry to say, have been using for like half a day, phone crashed more than 4 times, gallery cant play videos, and battery drains very quickly. sorry for the negative review. i still think cyanaosp rom is the best kk rom so far, i hope this rom gets updated, i really like it, but for now i will stick to it...

HELLKAT for the Galaxy SLC!!!!
HellKat is CM11 based with a completely redone beautiful Holo Red theme. You'll probably notice a difference between HellKat and CM nightlies (or the virgin AOSP builds) due to the LINARO 4.8 toolchain we use to compile the ROMs. HellKat was first created by DerTeufel during Jellybean and was called Hellybean. We now support several devices and with a new build server we will be able to bring this beautiful ROM to even more devices. If you have another device supported by CM you more than likely can build HellKat for your other device. We have a nice build script so that the hardest part of building HellKat is setting up Ubuntu and an Android developing environement. Checkout our sources at http://github.com/Hellybean

....abnormal! Okay. Give the battery at least 2 full electric shock within 48 hrs. Everything will be fine, nice and smooth. This is a hell lotta good rom. Staying and enjoying it for now.

using this ROM from first build not facing battery problem, with my 2years old battery, maybe you can replace boot.img from 20131209 CM11 by dhiru for fix 1% battery problem, CMIIW...

Recovery observation:
When reboot to recovery is selected it goes into repeated boot loop and eventually it boots normally if no power supply is present (?). After this boot to recovery works(!).

This Rom was a little project I started a few weeks ago. I've decided to share it. s some may know, the original ACHERON ROM is from my SGS4 CM based ROM. I'm slowly pulling CM/AOSP style, themes & mods into the TW based ROM. Mostly due to the locked bootloader. For that there are customizations that you, the user gets to decide as well. Seeing how there is no "perfect" ROM I try to let the user decide on themes, additional mods and remove what "you/they" want. Now saying that, this ROM is a bit debloated but still has most of the S5 features.
All I ask is you take it easy on me.....this is my first Verizon Phone. I'm a long time sprint user (just got sick of the network)

INSTALL DIRECTIONS
Make sure to be on the latest firmware With SafeStrap Recovery
Download ROM - Check the MD5 sum before continuing - Easier to re-download a bad zip first then to be stuck while flashing
Boot into Safestrap
Only tested on Stock ROM slot
Make a backup - I'm not kidding, its easier to restore a backup than to start fresh.
Wipe data - cache - dalvik cache - system (x2)
Install ROM
reboot to download mode and flash the correct Firmware (NK2 firmware)

Still stock theme for now. But wanam kit you can change to your liking.

This is awesome. We are getting closer and closer to cm style!
