P920 read only - LG Optimus 3D

Sorry for double posting, but in general section, no one could answer...
I had a p920 (or su760.. how can I tell?) it was on an Acura rom... and nothing could be done on it anymore... flashing with smartflash, flashtool from fastboot, cwm, download mode etc... nothing.
Every procedure (under windows 7 64 and also on linux amd64) went right, no errors, no warnings... but after restart... everything was exactly as before. The flash had no effect on it.
Even if I wrote some files on the internal sd card, I could read them back, everything seem ok,however, after restart the device... everything disappeared..
Some hints? Did anyone have similar problems?
Thank u very much, have a nice day..
Happy holidays

Thank u very much!! This is the first and only one answer I got so far...!!
To be honest I think I've already tried that... the problem is that every procedure I tried, completes succesfully even if in the end, nothing changed... do u really think that can solve it?
Thank u, marry chritmas and happy new year!

Have I Bricked My Phone???

I can not activesync. I am running windows vista 32bit on my pc. I installed ROM DK1 Final and activesync worked fine. To reset some setting i decided to hard reset my device. Since the hard reset I could not activesync again My pc says device unkonwn (a device attached has malfunctioned). I hard reset again and still not working.
I dont think it has anything to do with being on vista because ive synced with other dk roms including this one... However i just tried to use pocket mechanic to fat32 format my sd card and it says "error... a device attached to the system is not functioning" ... Have i bricked my phone????
I cant even SD flash the new ROM from bootloader with a clean fat32 formatted card
Lol, if you can use the phone, then you haven't bricked it. See if this works, go to start>settings>connections>usb to pc and disable that.
Have you rebooted your PC ???????

Please don't do things like this. You are already getting help in two other threads. You don't need to start a new thread for this issue. It's not even a Rom DEVELOPMENT issue. This isn't the "troubleshooting all kaiser issues" thread. You posted correctly the first time, and should have left it there
Hi, Had the same with this rom, just keep on trying to connect, did you also remove the battery and perform a soft reset? I flashed another rom and everything is perfect again. I could not find anything wrong but it took me some time to solve this....

The problems is, i cant do anything with the phone, feels like its brick, the only thing i can go is to "CWM", nothing else, so im tryin to connect my phone to the computer so it can find it and flash the phone with LGFlashTool
Unfortunately, "CWM" Only Samsung phones that are root is applicable, not applicable LG phones!!
Apart from installing flash the boot loader ROM,can update ROM your phone by the program "KDZ" to "B2CAppSetup" applications.
good luck...

Recheck/redo step 1. Check all details carefully and follow exactly. Uninstall all things LG before beginning to avoid driver/software conflicts. Turn off antivirus to avoid deletion of required system files or .dll. You must be logged onto pc as administrator for some steps.

Not needed to reflash whole ROM. Just flash the bootloader via flashtool to the recovery partition and you will forceboot your phone to Android.
In fastboot do: "fastboot flash recovery bootloader.bin"

For omap4430 and LG drivers, do part 1 here (you should be logged onto your pc as administrator if you are not already).
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2195753
Be sure to uninstall all LG stuff and reboot your computer before beginning, and temporarily disable antivirus software when extracting files.
After that, your pc will be set up to use Fastboot to install a bootloader, reflash the phone, or whatever you wish (flashing firmware will write bootloader, but it will also write everything else).

You missed something then.
Sent from my LG-P925g using xda app-developers app
Just try to relax and take it slow, one little bit at a time, and don't get mad. That will just make things worse like wiping your system for no reason. There is no rush; zipping through the details will probably result in something important missed or misunderstood. Driver install has always been the same, even when all we had was Fastboot and ICS ported from the Korean device. It has worked for many thousands of people before you and you have done nothing to your phone, that I have read, that could cause damage that cannot be fixed (hey, maybe I missed something, but as near as I see, it can be restored). Unless you have hardware failure, which sounds unlikely at this point, all I can say is try to relax and start over. The directions have been tested and refined many times over and are just about as complete and detailed as you will find.
And you can thank LG for driver install being as fiddly as it is for this particular device :banghead:
dreccon posted a simple zip somewere on this forum that breaks recovery loop. cant seem to find it

damn you don't need lg service for something so simple... if all else failed just flash a full .kdz rom, your phone will return to 100% stock and will boot fine [i use this for .kdz flashing: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=22189294 ]. Or like lzzar said try the recovery bootloop breaker too:

moto g does not boot

hello everyone,
i'm developing a game with unity and sometimes when i compile and inject the game on the phone it crashes and forces me to factory reset the phone through fastboot. i've done it like 3 times already with no problems.
but today it happened again and the phone just wouldnt recover, i've tried the fix that this video (youtube.com/watch?v=laU6NQ0LxR0) shows but it still does not boot.
I am able to enter fastboot and my computer recognizes the mobile phone so that's a great start :victory:
not sure what guide to follow since i'm not sure whether the problem is on the rom or something else.
can someone give me a tip on what fix should I try? cant really afford to lose my phone right now
it has (had) a stock rom 4.4.2 with stock bootloader, tho i tried to install the fix in the video i've said earlier and i'm not sure whether it changed the rom or not.
thanks

/Data gets corrupted
Even, I had the same issue. I tried flashing ROMs through recovery but it gave me error that/data/media/0/ can't be mounted. The only way to get out I found was to full format /data and /storage (philz recovery) and then to push ROM. zip to/sdcard through adb and then to flash it through recovery.
Hope it helps someone.

So I wanted to wake up my nexus 5 with the volume buttons. Looking online I found that you could add code to your build.prop.. which I did.. then rebooted...
Now my phone does 'nothing'... When I press the power button it vibrates 2 times and nothing happens...

I've downloaded Kwongger's Nexus 5 All-In-One Toolkit , I hope that's what you meant. And then it says it's missing the hammerhead.image.zip... which I assume is the stockROM?.. If so, shouldn't I Reflash to Slimkat?

Let me start with, Thank you so much for your time
However, It seems like I'm unable to install the right drivers on my PC for my phone and adb doesn't detect my device (which is strange as CF-auto-root did see the device and worked fine)
I walked through multiple tutorials about installing drivers. Actually have windows detecting my phone fine (I see it in device manager) and I've reinstalled google USB drivers multiple times now, rebooting my PC and deleting drivers and reinstalling them
I've justed factory reset my phone, but that just got me to a Google logo stuck (which I read about in your link in your signature)..
Because adb doesn't detect my device I'm unable to pull build.prop... which means I feel stuck again.
Would you have a direction for me to go towards to continue my journey through Nexus5-Land?

If you're using Windows 8, 8.1 or 8.1U1 you'll need to disable driver signature enforcement.
Try flashing the factory images in fastboot?
Could somebody not just make a flashable zip with the correct build.prop?
Failing that, just reflash the ROM.

Glad you got it sorted but, unless you couldn't boot into recovery, you didn't need to go back to stock.
Flashing the correct build.prop or ROM you were using should have sorted it out, without losing any data (you would have lost any system mods if you flashed the ROM again, though).
I'm only mentioning this in case somebody else searches and finds this thread for the same problem.
I've changed the build.prop loads of times on many devices and only once it went into a bootloop. Flashing a build.prop zip sorted it.
