Nexus S Free Space After Wipe
What's the free space on your NS? I've got about 6 apps downloaded. A couple are games but other than that, none to big. My internal storage shows 834MB free. How much space is available for internal out of box? I really don't want to wipe to find out. Currently it's sitting at 860
The phone has a internal SD card.. so it says you have 800+ of internal phone space but you also have a additional 13gb+ of internal SD space.. so no worrys..

Its 1 gig of NAND for apps and the rest of the NAND acts as an SD card

even though it's a bug
Class 10 64gb micro SD SanDisk UHS-1 working. Initially disappointed by the fact it would stutter with video/audio or both when used in the micro SD slot. Taking a look at XDA, others also are having the same problems with it.

Today, checked to see if the problem could be replicated in a Stock Transformer Prime. Absolutely no problems with it via the micro SD slot. WTF!? Put it back in the Infinity and all of a sudden no problems. The 64gb was to be used in conjunction with the SD card adapter but no more since it works now.
Exactly why it works now I have no clue.
1. Stock Infinity non-rooted
2. Did not format the micro SD out of the box
Video:
Out of interest have you crossed over the 4gb of data threshold on the card yet? Mine worked fine until it hit that and then crashed.
Not sure if thats connected though

With a single file, I have not. None of my video files are over 2gb but I have moved multiple files that equal above 4gb.
I need to increase my external storage size (now I'm with a Sandisk 16Gb class 10 SD).
Yesterday I've tried a Sandisk 32Gb class10 but it does not works very well, I can take pictures, manage relatively small files.
But when I need to manage larger files (eg. 10Mb or so) the SD fails on writing, so I can't move ROM zip files or other large things.
This is not ROM related because I've tried various ROMs (stock also) and even under recovery I can't make backups cause the SD fails during writing.
The SD is fine and fast, I've tried on my desktop, on my laptop and on my sister's mobile phone (Sony Xperia mini pro Sk17i).
On my i9001 I've tried a Sandisk 32Gb class 4 SD and it works very fine but the speed drop vs. my current class 10 is noticeable.
So my question: is there someone with I9001 that uses with success a 32Gb class 10 SD card?
I need suggestions on brand an model.
OK, I've got a Samsung 32Gb class 10 from Amazon. Not sure about exact model name, the SD is completely black with brand name in white and size blue

The writing speed is very good 15 Mb/sec using benchmarks and 14Mb/sec doing a nandroid backup with TWRP recovery.
Sandisk
I use the Sandisk Mobile Ultra microSDHC Class 10 UHS-I 30MB/s 32GB, and it works fine for what I use it.
It is fast enough for all day use (listening music and taking pictures) and it is cheap.
Now that Android 6 marshmallow has arrived for the Idol 3, it should
be possible to expand space for apps using "adoptable storage."

Any suggestions for sd cards that won't slow things down?

I have the 32 GB version of the SD Card you referenced and no complaints personally.
If you are really looking for bang for you buck though, there is a high quality 200GB SD Card on sale for $30 on Amazon which is a steal (albeit a bit excessive imo). 4.5 stars on Amazon so high quality:

I believe sd card class ratings are more relevant to use in cameras than phones, particularly when extending main memory.
These tests for use with the Raspberry Pi computer may be useful:
http://www.jeffgeerling.com/blogs/jeff-geerling/raspberry-pi-microsd-card
"Class helps distinguish sustained read/write minimums, but says almost nothing about random IO performance"
" there are a couple clear standout cards—one is the Samsung Evo+, which is the fastest card for random access by a mile"
Guys. I know that note 10+ is ufs 3.0. However, can someone confirm if the smaller Note 10 is 3.0 or 2.1
