[Q] Can't boot in CM11 4.4.2 - Motorola Atrix 2

I installed CM11 on System4 in BMM (because on System3 I have a JB ROM) but everytime I try to boot on System4 it just stays at a black screen. System1 is JB leak 3.
What am I doing wrong?

Clean install with 1GB data partition, 300 or 500MB system partition (forgot), 300 MB cache partition. I wiped everything on that system before flashing. Could it be that the system partition is too small? It worked for every JB ROM like this. I'll try with a bigger one once I have some time.

Make the system partition 500mb, and try again. If it doesn't work, try downloading the rom again, maybe u got a corrupt download.

Ya increase the system as well as data to 800 thats what i use it will work then..............

Yep, the system image space was the problem. It needs 500MB for KitKat. I always tought that it would give some kind of error while flashing if there's not enough space. Apparently not. Thanks guys.

[Q] {Need Help - HTC Pico Rooted} Wipe factory data but internal memory is only 20mb

Hello
I have rooted my HTA Explorer and it was working fine then i flash custom rom MIUI then after i flash Cyanogenmod 9 build of 2012, it was also working good then i install stock rom just to check if i want to go back it was also working fine then i flash cyanogenmod 9 build 14 then it starts giving error like camera not loaded , cannot start calander etc.
I again flashed many roms randomly but my internal memory is only 23 mb left, I have checked through diskusage it says system data is 100 mb but there is no application installed.
I always wipe factory data reset and wipe cache partition before flashing new rom, i have also tried format data ,cache from mounts and storage but still i got only 23 mb available after flashing.
Now i am at my original backup of stock rom and if i flash cyanogenmod 9 it gives me error due to low internal memory.
I gues there is any old rom's data is still placed in my internal memory which needs to be wiped off, Please help me in this.
I have now use superwipe and installed cynogenmod 9 now it shows total space 150mn apps 26.99 and available 56.66 where is the rest 64.35mb ????

{Need Help} Wipe data/Factory reset but internal storage is only 20 mb

I have rooted my PICO and tried custom roms
i have flash 3 or four roms in 1 day just to check which rom will be better for me and finally decided to flash cyanogenmod 9
after flashing the rom (without gapps) it show internal storage 150mb in total and 28mb used where as 51mb available i want to know where is 71mb remaining.
I used diskusgae it says setem data is taking up around 100 mb but there is no application installed.
I tried to come back at my stock rom and restore from backup but it is now showing 23 mb only which was 113 mb before.
I always use wipe data/factory reset before flashing new rom,
now i am suffering from low memory because if i flash gapps i will not have enough memory to use play store infact it says the process ended
do i have to change the kernal ??? or what is happened to my phone ? wipe data not working or what ?
Please help me ....

Thank for your reply ... i dont know how i burnt it i didnt overclock my cpu but may be it was done as i had installed cynogenmod 9 may be it has overclocking feature... i am not sure that flashing rom can overclock cpu or update the kernel ????
second point is that i have my nandroid backup of stock rom, i restore the same using recovery after restoring it shows only 23 mb available internal storage without any application installed, it should have 113mb avaible i use diskusage it shows 100 mb taken by system data.
i am confused... any help will be appreciated.
also let me know how to flash nand if it is burned which you said in your reply.

[Q] Data On My Internal Storage?

Hi guys, this is my first post on this forum ( Actually I have benn here for a long time without account )
Alright, This is my problem, I usually flash back to stock by RUU, my Pico has over 100MB free space. A few days ago, I flashed the same RUU, but this time I have 70MB space only, I have cleaned all partitions by recovery and flash again, still.
Oh wait, I just use Disk Usage and check the storage, it's say there are some data(not system) on the internal storage, wow.
Does anyone have ideas?
My Pico cid is Taiwan(621), so I flash TW RUU.
Thanks
before flashing, did you wipe system partition too?

I know that and it's convenience, but this smartphone now is just my secondary phone.
And for a odd reason, I prefer not to creat a partition on my SD card, just like to keep it simple and clean.
Looks like I'm stubborn...

[Solved] CM11 Beta 4 Unfortunately, the process android.process.media has stopped

Hey guys, I flashed CM11-beta4 ROM with OC (system:500MG, Cache:199MG, ext:3GB) and I install my apps and i applied a CM11 theme and made the notification bar transparent (with editing build.prop), without using ART and everything was working perfectly before rebooting the mobile and : ~"Unfortunately, the process android.process.media has stopped" started to appear
~when I try to open Downloads the same error appear and the app doesn't open
~when I try to take a screen-shot it just say saving and never save it
what I tried: I tried wipe cache, dalvik cache, app data, even wiping my SD-Card and reinstalling the same rom again
*after installing the ROM with OC I didn't installed gapps core because Google apps was already installed
if any one faced this problem please reply to me
sorry for not posting it in the ROM thread, I can't post it their as my total posts less that 10 (XDA rules)

Create 3 partitions sd main your card for storage.. sd data ( 1gb ) sd cache 100 mb..
You can't create 3 partition through recovery specially cache..
So use mini tool..
Sd main fat32
Sd data ext4/3 1gb or more ..
Sd cache ext4/3 100 mb
Sd data and cache should be same like ext 4 both should be ext 4..
All should be primary partition..
