Every day I get a notification with a red star icon of a app suggestion. I don't find these suggestions verry interesting so I want to disable them. Who can help me with this or can point me in the right direction?

One of the apps that you installed is causing what is called push notifications. If you uninstall the app it will go away.
I use app brain ad detector to weed out those apps that use that permission.
I don't think it comes from a app I installed my self. I think it comes from one of the pre installed apps from Samsung. But how to find the one causing these notifications.

Edit: installed app brain add detector and found the app response. It was indeed a app I installed my self :-|
No . Its Most Likely not from an app but from some kind of android adware ,.. I had something Similar on my phone, but mine Was green and said that i had won something ,.got ridd of it by wiping my device .. really annoying : /

Those are all push notifications. I have never heard of any device with notification ads from pre-installed apps. Did you check the permission of all the apps that you installed. It would have stated it in the permissions.
can't seem to find an app that i need. you see i use an app that checks to see if you have another app running (fake gps) and if that app is running the app i am trying to run will not run.
is there anything i can get to hide that i'm running a specific app like fake gps or to maybe block the retrieve running apps permission the app i'm trying to run uses?
Try XPrivacy

Else in titanium backup just freeze the app.
Hi all! I was wondering if you could tell me an app that can block the built in browser from opening like iOS Restrictions in the settings has. It's for me to stop my son from getting frisky lol.

Simple, root the device and freeze the browser using the app System Tuner or Titanium Backup Pro

if your phone is rooted, you can configure your iptables to block internet access
Literally the only features I'm aware of that would mean not using another app would be to disable data /WiFi, or enter flight mode. But obviously, that's system wide, and not app specific.
Why would you like to do this without another app?
Hi, I've got root and xposed installed.
And already have installed amplify, greenify, no wakelock and bootstart manager.
But none of these was able to block an app from auto starting when phone is on.
Yea, it kills the app when you click on the greenifys shortcut, but I dont refer to that, I want an app which can disable the autorun service of the app.
Can anyone introduce a way or an app for that?
Thanks.

You mean an app like autostarts? Which alters the criteria to said apps??
Used to use it years ago but it's still available..
Not a task manager but an actual app that manages changes.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.elsdoerfer.android.autostarts
Not free but definitely worth a £1
Hope this helps..
