[Q] HELP! Problem with battery status i9100 - General Questions and Answers

hi,
I have a battery problem in my Samsung Galaxy S2 i9100, my battery when it's under 30% discharges very fast.
Also if I reboot my phone when battery is under 45% or less, my mobile doesn't turn on, it shows that battery is over. (but in true still have battery.) Then when i charge it, the mobile shows that battery has 1% charged, but after 5 minutes, shows the real percentatge, the 45% or what was charged. I have tried everything but still I have the same problem.
I have bought a new battery,
and I have calibrated the battery two times (with the app Battery Calibration and also deleting my self the batterystats.bin).
When The problem started I was using cm10.2, but now I have cm10.1, but I have the same problem.
Could you help me please?
thank you
(sorry for my english, I'm not an english native speaker)

[Resolved] [Q] Battery / Batstat Issue? Please help.

Hello, my Karbonn A9+ really lacks on battery capacity (1450 mAh) that's why I bought a modded S3 battery (2100 mAh) and it really fit.
Everytime my cellphone shuts down due to low battery. I start to think that its clear that my battery is drained. But once I turn it ON again. The indicator shows around 10-20%. Until it shuts down again. Then I'll turn it ON the second time. Indicator shows around 10-20% again.
Its really annoying cause, I don't even know when will my phone really drain or gets to at least "please recharge your phone" state.
I've tried resetting my battery stats and still have this. I also tried draining my battery to 0 (after multiple times of turning on). and still have this.
Please help me!!!
Thanks in advance!

You charge the phone off least 7-8 hour. After you use phone when battery shows %5 then go to recovery and wipe battery stats and again charge the phone off least 7-8 hour. It will fix. If it won't fix you continue give full charge closed phone 2-3 times  sorry bad english

Thank you very much for the reply. I will do this. Hope it will work

Too bad it didn't work.
Hi peeweew ,
then what is status now?
-
hi, you have tried battery calibrator. it helps on some phones, on mine it didn't work, i also tried to do the cleaning of the battery stats still it didn't work..
the solution which i found was that you try to use a different charger and it will fix. when your phone shuts down plug in the different charger and then wipe the stats.
it worked for me, should work for you..
Press thanks if helped!!!!
I think my battery is now ok. Tried everything you people suggested. Thanks for the help!

Galaxy S2 screen battery draining problem

Guys
After upgrading my galaxy S2 (model: SHW-m250k) to JB, my battery is draining much faster. I thought it was battery problem and changed my battery but found same problem.
When I don't use phone like when I sleep, only 4-5% battery lost in 8-9 hours but as soon as I start using my phone, battery is finishing like 1% in every minute. I have found my screen's battery usage is always above 60%. When I start using my phone, it goes up to 80%. All other battery usage found normal.
I done factory reset but didn't work. Recently my phone got updated again (update size approx. 600MB) but problem didn't solve. I tried everything to reduce battery usage (turning auto sync off, lowering brightness, turning off auto rotation, enabling power saving mode etc) but didn't worked and I am very disappointed now. Cant use my phone to watch movie, chat because of huge battery draining by display.
I have also noticed that after using my phone when I put it idle, battery increases by 1-2% automatically!!
Could you please suggest me anything?

[Q] Battery problem

Hey guys I am a long time Android enthusiast. I have one of the most popular Samsung devices which is the Samsung Galaxy fit. The problem with my Samsung Galaxy Fit is the battery. Earlier before any tweaking battery used to be normal. After I installed CM7(official build). My battery started draining randomly. At first it was ignorable but then the problem became severe. From 100% it would drop to 88% in just 2 mins use and then from 88% it wud drop to 70% in another 5 mins and the entire phone would be dead in just 3 hours at best. When I would charge the phone again the battery will also be charged randomly going from 5% to 20% and then 20% to 40% all this in just 10 mins. In no less than 20 mins would my phone be 100% charged but that's fake as the battery would drain from 100% to 0% in three hours.
Following are the solutions are tried
Changed the batter, used a brand new original battery(FAIL - DID NOT WORK)
Flashed stock Rom (FAIL - PROBLEM STILL PERSISTS)
Changed Charger (FAIL)
Recharged battery on a different phone and then inserted the battery in fit (FAIL)
If anyone has any solution please let me know. I AM ALSO WILLING TO DONATE IF PROBLEM GETS SOLVED.

You could try Battery Calibrator.. The app is available on Play Store.

Hope this will help you..
1. after flashing custom ROMS, back to recovery or CWM then wipe the battery stats.
2. calibrate the battery while device is on, i ussually use Mugen Power app (install app, choose the standard battery, charge until 100% then click calibrate, after that use the device until the phone is dead then charge until 100% again while device is off).
other Calibration apps ussually have the same steps like the steps i mentioned above, so just use one app..
3. if you still having the battery drain, maybe you should go check the hardware in some technician, coz it could be the hardware that has the problems.

[Q] New Battery Calibration

I bought a new battery for my oneplus one from vifocal.com and I think its original battery. The battery seems to be very poor. I use my phone for 1,5 hours from which the screen is on for about 1 hour and the battery has drained down to 50%. Yesterday as my phone went to zero I turned it on in recovery mode to keep the screen on as long as possible to really kill the battery and the screen stayed on for at least 2 hours. How is that possible if the battery indicator shows already 0%. Anyways I believe the battery drops down to 0% even really there is a lot of juice in the battery. Is there anyway to calibrate the battery so it would show the correct percentage and is there anyway to tell how big is the battery really? whether I got a fake one or not. thanks

I've had an opposite issue few times - phone was shutting down while it was show that it still had battery (20% was the worst case). I fixed it by discrharging fully, then letting the phone charge all trough the night. this was the recommendation that I found on OPO forums from someone from their team.

Battery Problem [getting worse]

Hi all, I own a Galaxy S7 and it works perfectly fine until recently.
The battery would went to 0% from 5% (after the critical warning) all of a sudden, and it happened again when it was at 15% today (also after a battery warning).
Is it because of a bad battery? Should I get my phone replaced?
Attached is a screenshot of the battery usage, as you can see it dropped from somewhere near 15% to 0% (it shut down itself all of a sudden, and wouldn't turn on unless I charged it, and it started from 0%).
Any help would be appreciated and I am sorry for my poor english as I am not from a native-english speaking country.

hi mate
All this happen after an app or OTA installation?
first thing is to find out what is going on , try an app like BBS to monitor all process and see if one is going wild.....
Factory reset is always a good option to reset all apps and re install them one by one and monitor how the battery behaves after each installation
Backup first !!
