Hello, my Karbonn A9+ really lacks on battery capacity (1450 mAh) that's why I bought a modded S3 battery (2100 mAh) and it really fit.
Everytime my cellphone shuts down due to low battery. I start to think that its clear that my battery is drained. But once I turn it ON again. The indicator shows around 10-20%. Until it shuts down again. Then I'll turn it ON the second time. Indicator shows around 10-20% again.
Its really annoying cause, I don't even know when will my phone really drain or gets to at least "please recharge your phone" state.
I've tried resetting my battery stats and still have this. I also tried draining my battery to 0 (after multiple times of turning on). and still have this.
Please help me!!!
Thanks in advance!

You charge the phone off least 7-8 hour. After you use phone when battery shows %5 then go to recovery and wipe battery stats and again charge the phone off least 7-8 hour. It will fix. If it won't fix you continue give full charge closed phone 2-3 times  sorry bad english

Too bad it didn't work.
Hi peeweew ,
then what is status now?

hi, you have tried battery calibrator. it helps on some phones, on mine it didn't work, i also tried to do the cleaning of the battery stats still it didn't work..
the solution which i found was that you try to use a different charger and it will fix. when your phone shuts down plug in the different charger and then wipe the stats.
it worked for me, should work for you..
Press thanks if helped!!!!
I think my battery is now ok. Tried everything you people suggested. Thanks for the help!

Hi all,
There's this problem with my phone that everytime I charge it, it takes an elongated time to do so. This issue first emerged when I was on stock GB after a minor OTA update which added the power saver toggle to the quick settings menu..The problem is that it takes about 4-5 hours to fully charge the phone, and if I rebooted in the middle of charging when it's about 70% or 80%, it suddenly shows that the phone is fully charged, and the indicator becomes green! But afterwards the battery drains as quickly!
Now I have S-Off and using ARHD 6.6.3 ROM, but it seems the problem persists ..I wiped battery stats as soon as I flashed the ROM as well..Although it's not a problem I cannot live with, it's annoying enough when it happens.
Can someone please help me? And suggest me what to do?

its common thing...the battery calibration is not proper that's all...
also you need to wipe stats once you charge your phone to 100%
then battery will try to calibrate ...and after 3-4 full complete cycles (100-0 and 0-100)
the battery will settle..
the battery drain will be there ...whenever you flash a rom or flash a kernel....battery only settles atleast after 2 full cycles
EDIT: also download currentwidget from market..as the name says its a widget..so you will see it in widgets once you installed it...this will give you more proper reading of battery...when you plug your phone to charge...and when current widget reads 0mah then your battery is charged completely...(it might take a long time to read 0mah...but charge it until you see 0mah)..then wipe the battery stats...so after this battery calibration will be proper
Also the sudden jump of battery percentage is due to improper battery calibration
so dont worry you got no problem
So
I read somewhere that you are not supposed to let the phone go to zero because it could cause your phone to not power back on anymore..is this fact. I couldn't find where I read it to back and read again. Mine has been doing some weird things as well...the led turns green before it is 100% and it goes from 100% and drops to like 89% out of no where.

when i meant 100%-0% means until your phone turns off due to less power..it might not(or won't be) be 0% then
as i told you that kind of jumps are common ...in my case it went to 60% to 100% when i rebooted ...also the dropping used to be in large scale too

Thanks mate! I will try this out! cheers!
hi all,
having some fussy battery action on my P920.
For starters, it will NEVER charge to 100% anymore... it only goes to 98% and stays there (I miss the "your phone is fully charged - unplug" warning lol).
I also notice it drains REALLY fast till its around 70% and then it slows drainage significantly.
Also, when I use apps that restart my phone (using root methods), it seems to drop battery charge level in chunks of like 25% or more at a time... JUST from a simple reboot!
What the heck is going on!
I have tried resetting battery stats in CWM, using apps like battery calibration etc, and nothing seems to fix it...
I have no idea what else to try. I have other batteries I ordered from China on Ebay but i think they are worse LOL
Anyone have other experiences you can share that can help me out?
Much appreciated in advance for reading my rant.
install CPUSpy
discharge to 3-5% -> charge to max not over the computer but over the wall charger- >start using it ->give us a picture of your CPU Spy after a certain amount of time -4-5h (Hold power button and press home button - will take a picture in /sdcard/CapturedImages)
I had the same battery stories with my phone.
Flashing V21E Stock fixed it, don't know how.
I also tried wiping and battery calibration, wiping didin't worked, battery calibration worked until reboot.
that used to happen to me i installed baseband V21E and it fixed it. iv just bought a 3500mah battery, yeah i know my phone now looks like a brick, but it lasts sooo much longer, 3hr phone call, playing nova for a hour, a couple of texts and my battery at 80%.

I just get my phone after a repair and I see a battery problem: when my phone is charging, about 82%, growth stops. If I shuts down my phone and I back on, it displays 100%.
does anyone know why and what to do about it ?
Thanks
Happened to me once, it was charging rather long than usually, stucked at around 80%, rebooted and it showed 100%. And it depleted normally.
Another time was after flashing a new rom, there was an issue so i rebooted while charging at around 80% as well, rebooted and it showed 100%, but it depleted rather fast from 100% to 90% so i knew it didnt "fully" charge. but charge it the next day and it was back to normal.
So imo it shouldnt be an issue. but hows your battery life?? does it depletes rather fast? U can try calibrating it with battery calibrater which can be downloaded from market. But i read that ds phones calibrates itself after each charge. so no worries there.
Happened to me as well
I avoid rebooting now (unless absolutely necessary) to see that happen again. Ignorance is bliss
I think it may be the battery starting to wear off ??

I have the same issue,
I wipe battery stats in recovery and now it's no problem
Thank you for your answers.
Maybe my batery begins to die but i will try to wipe the battery stats and i will see.:good:
Hello, not sure if this is the right page to request this type of help but here's the deal: the last few days I've been having a sudden crazy battery drain... I cleared the cache, then performed a factory reset and the battery was still draining - around 1.5% per minute with the screen on. Around 1% every 3-4 minutes with the screen off. I read an article about Safe Mode.. and before I got into Safe Mode I had 23% battery... when I got into Safe Mode.. it showed me 62%. I got back into "normal" mode and it still showed 62... now it's currently at 60%. Thought this is weird.. any idea what's going on?
Either bad calibration or a dying battery. Do a full cycle (run it till it's dead then charge it to full before booting). If you still experience problems you should probably get the battery replaced.

Any idea what might have caused the bad calibration?
It seems to be ok for now.. It hasn't discharged yet.. will let it turn off on 0 battery and then charge it full. Thanks.
Calibration can go out if you regularly charge it when it's not empty yet. Modern batteries dont have as many problems with memory, but it's still possible.
hello,
since 2 days my S7 has a battery crash.
when it is under 15% of battery, it goes to 1% in few minutes and then goes in auto turn off.
i.e. the battery goes from 10% to 5% in 20seconds.
i.e. auto turn off at 13%.
if I try to turn on the battery is at 0%. I only have to charge it.
in the battery stats I see a vertical line under 15%.
Before to do a factory reset, someone knows this issue?
it has 1 year and 4 months of life.
Thank you in advance.

thus might be a problem in your battery itself have you tried taking it to a repair lab and have them replace your battery?
I don't yet called samsung assistance (it is under 2 years warrancy).
Someone told me to calibrate the battery. I have found some guide but I don't know what is the best guide.
Thanks.
it is not only my problem.
Other person have my same issue.

Dont worry, I am almost completely sure it is just a calibration issue, read this xataka post, i think this is the right way to calibrate any battery https://www.xatakamovil.com/varios/como-calibrar-la-bateria-de-un-movil-y-por-que-deberias-hacerlo , it is in spanish but you can translate it. If it doesnt work you better use your warranty, i had a Galaxy Tab S with the same problem and the way to solve it was reconecting the battery(you have to disconnect the battery from the mother board), it is a really simple task, takes 20 secs but since you cant take out the battery because the S7 is unibody, you need to take your phone to Samsung.
