WHAT DOES THIS MOD DO: This mod will let you unlock the status bar notification panel hidden toggles by default without the need to use any of those SQLite editor apps to add them back in.
★ Go into the system/csc folder on any rom using any root explorer or on a pc and open up "feature.xml"

IF YOUR DOING THIS ON "others.xml" ADD THOSE TWO SAME LINES RIGHT ABOVE </FeatureSet> THAT'S TOWARDS AT THE BOTTOM OF THE XML FILE.
By doing this you should now have 25 toggles in your status bar notification panel. There are two more hidden toggles which are "PersonalMode" and also "DoNotDisturb". These two toggles seem to not do anything since PersonalMode is probably used for KNOX and DoNotDisturb once you press on the toggle to disable it, you cant enable/disable it again. If you want those other two toggles for any reason just to have 27 toggles instead of 25, then here are the two lines with them in it.

If you want, you can also change the order of the toggles in those two lines by re-arranging them around, just make sure that they are in the same order for both the <CscFeature_Setting_DefNotificationPanelOrder> and <CscFeature_Setting_DefQuickPanelOrder> lines.
Note: I kept the toggles the same order for both lines for best results in my opinion, I haven't re-arranged them both differently so who knows it will probably work that way also, just let me know.

It works its just that its a mod that has to do with the sqlite database meaning that when you add it, the mod will not show unless a developer adds it into their rom, perform a full wipe which resets the settings.db, and then it will then show. I will be working on a flashable.zip so the settings.db can reset itself.

It's not a mod lol, the op make exactly the inverse what's said.
For enable you have to edit your sq lite database or the other. XML.
But this op is really old because is since 2013 and as you can seen on the ss the rom is kitkat.
No devs like @Kamy push in their rom a script to enable all the shortcuts in one click with the app rom control.
If you want you can learn more about this or directly use the rom I mean, it's aryamod lollipop v8.3, (5.0 LP) or the newest S7edge v4(6.0 MM) for the note 3 all snapdragon variants

In the OP it suggests trying to reflash with the other file too, might help you out. After i put a custom launcher on mine, it seems as fast as before I upgraded.
Yea I put launcher pro and it helped but the Droid X keyboard kept FC when I tried to load it and i had to flash it again

I have noticed that is does Vibrate More than it used to. I see there is an option to change the strength of it now

where do you adjust the vibration? the only thing I found was adjusting the vibration for the haptic feedback. nothing else. my phone now vibrates longer for notifications than I want.
I also found that launcherpro helped, although the phone was no slouch either. Battery life is much better for me.

I have had no trouble with lag or anything and I use Touchwiz. I didn't use the pit file either weird.
So far so good. Doing a restore of all my backed up programs. Seems to be pritty spiffy.

I created a mod to get rid of the brightness slider (I use auto-brightness 99% of the time) and added back the Wifi toggle that I had in another mod that was for ICS. Here's a screenshot:

So the mod only involves:
Adding the Wifi toggle
Removing brightness slider
Changing the padding around the 'No notifications' text (it gets funked up after removing the slider)
Removed useless e911 location icons from showing up in status bar
That's all that was done. Just unzip the file and drop SystemUI.apk into /system/app, change permissions on the file to rw-r--r-- and then restart and you're good to go. You have to be rooted obviously.
This has been tested on latest JB leak VRBLK1.

Is there any way to make this work on an SII? (E4GT) I have scoured XDA and other sites looking for a mod or hack to remove the slider for my model, and have had no luck thus far. There are many different toggle mods I've found out there, and yet none of them put in an option to remove or edit the brightness slider.
I am still amazed by this, because personally I think it is the stupidest add to JB, and even more idiotic that there are zero setting options to enable/disable it. I did see that in a recent update for the SIII, they added this option, but still no one has adapted it for the SII yet. I too use auto-brightness, so the slider is worthless to me, and it takes up a third of the space in the notification bar when you drag it down- poor design and zero functionality for me.
I've posted a question in the E4GT Q&A section twice about a mod for it and not one person had anything to offer one way or another. I guess I'm just really surprised there is little discussion and even less progress on this.

Today I am sharing some of mods I made for LTA framework(latest) based on official layout. If your rom has different layout or some of apps are symlinked (other than sammy's symlinked ones) do not expect these mods working properly. Please read before posting anything otherwise I won't answer your issue. I am only sharing these mods and not responsible for any explosion or blackout :crying: Please do not ask for additional stuff I would include if I have time.
Included mods are:
Themed status bar (only for stock toggles)
- Shadow/gradient on statusbar background like KitKat
- Semitransparent white icons on statusbar
- Transparent background on recent apps
Notification panel extra toggles - Airplane and Torch
Ink Effect color chooser for all colors
Torch on lock screen
Sms Hack:
- Save / Restore Messages on SD Card
- Scheduled messaging features
- Screen on/off toggle (turns on screen when notifications recieved)
- Vibration on/off toggle
- Permanent disabling of SMS, MMS & Email log history to be logged in call logs
- 1000 SMS /unlimited recipient limit
- change the messaging time stamps to its original time
- disable sms to mms auto-conversion
- increase mms max size + increase mms image size

Advance reboot option including screenshot
Browser edge zoom
How to Install:
Make backup from your current rom, if you face any issue you would be able to return.

Download AryaMod and flash through recovery.
Check MD5 SUM of your downloaded zip (if you don't know how see here)
If you are using Xblast, tinted, tweatbox or anything to change statusbar transparency or color, the shadow/gradient on statusbar background would not be visible anymore.
These mods are all made from Stock LTA sources so if you are going to try it on other builds do it at your own risk, it may or may not work I didn't try it.

Custom Quick Settings is a free app to add your own tiles - great but after reboot tiles are gone and you have to reactivate your custom quick settings.
Fortunately this app has tasker plugin so after boot i am able to let tasker reactivate my quick settings.
Waiting for cm13 but in the meantime we need workarounds

How did you get this app to work. when I downloaded it I was told to turn on system tuner. But I thought it was disabled. so how did you get it to work?
@JochenP I have made it like you, but there is no New Icon added to Quick Settings. The APP has Root Access.
Edit. Quick Settings show me this Message. What means this?
Edit2: Have found it out. I have installed SELinux Mode Changer and have changed the SELinux Mode in Permissive Mode. Now it is working. And with Tasker it is a great workaround. Thank you.

This give me the hint to get it work: i have installed SELinuxModeChanger and set to ENFORCING so that LMT Launcher v2.5 beta4
workes correctly.
Please test this - you can toggle SELinux from permissive to enforcing and back without problem
Ah - AntikerTa has already the solution
probably we find where CustomQuickSettings change settings...
works great, now just to find where to remove some stock icons i don't use.......
